What is the issue even?

What is the crux behind the main drama in this show, it is beyond me. This Nandini spends all her time stressing over Ram becoming distant. She spent years emotionally blackmailing him, maybe if she just chilled in the house and didn't constantly plan unnecessary attacks, he would still love her just the same and nobody would be distant.

The only problem I saw with Nandini was she wanted her daughter to marry rich.
