I completely agree with your POV. I am not looking forward to any of those cringeworthy episodes🤬. Ram is going to remain innocently oblivious to any of the incidents that dear Vedika creates and how it has to be spelled out to Ram by his friends as to the how wrong everything is!!! End result is how humiliating this is all going to be to Priya. Does she really need to go thru this to realize her love for Ram or vice versa.

I know many of us here are excited that the Vedika entry in Kapoor mansion will bring Ram-Priya closer, of course after a lot of misunderstandings, drama & heartbreak. But I find it humiliating for Priya that Ram’s love for her needs this disgusting catalyst. I am bracing myself for cringe tropes like Vedika dressing up in Priya’s saree gifted by Ram, oops by mistake! And Ram wondering why Priya is overreacting to such a small honest mistake. No love is worth having to go thru that sh*t, in my view.

Why do women in these shows have to walk the path of humiliation, that too at the hands of other women - whether saas or souten - in order to find love?

Will they ever show a husband tolerating his wife’s ex or close male friend staying under the same roof & humiliating him by indirectly referring to their old love?

Ram cares for Meera, but I feel that is equally for priya and Ram wanting a mother's love.

If ram doesn't speak up and only apologises/ talks to priya when they are alone, priya will never trust him. While some matters need to be kept private, you need to show support for your partner openly, specially if others want to demean her.

@bold: how will priya jamao any haq on Ram, when she feels she has no haq. Ram needs to give her that haq. He has to show her that she is important. If not more important, then atleast as important as the other relations in his life.

I think ram has time, again and again showed he cares and values Pri as a wife. She knows it too and acknowledged he has done so much for her.

This sautan thing is souring their individual thoughts, and it's cheap drama. Sooner or later ram will draw the line and vedu will do something drastic- putting doubt in Pri ka head that she's not the love. And maybe then we can get a confession? Idk

I know what I'm saying is not a popular opinion in the forum right now but just hear me out once Why Priya should trust Ram is because of everything he told her today in the cafe.

It's understandable what Priya felt because before now whenever she was let down no one came to her to reassure her that she was right and she is important and she has every right to complain and make a fuss about things. She has never gotten that kind of attention and I don't think that neeraj was ever that attentive or cared about her but ram does . She does matter to ram. And that's exactly what he tried to tell her that she's his wife and as a wife it's her right to complain and a fuss about something that she doesn't agree with. But with priya's past experiences she is used to going into self preservation mode whenever she feels hurt or betrayed instead of communication because that option was never available to her incase of her father or neeraj so she's just used to it all. Because of all this she made herself so unapproachable that even her family started to let her be and all the hurt festered on and it changed her . Her family also got used to this behaviour of her because she would get hurt then won't react and move on . This became a habit of her and she thought to try same with Ram But Ram is not letting that happen and this confuses her and she said all those things because she doesn't know how to react right now. Because before now no one gave her that right or freedom to complain about her hurt and that's why it was so beautiful what ram said today to her . Finally she has a relationship where she gets all the rights but in her confusion she is not accepting it because all her life she has heard things like " you are a compensation", " you will never be loved ", " no one wants you" ," you are not important" by people like her father and neeraj so when Ram tells her things like " your my wife and that's my truth " such a simple fact with so much meaning and impact her twisted mind is not able to comprehend that and is intercepting it as Ram has to make a sacrifice of his old relations at her expense because in her own mind she perceives herself as a consolation prize. She doesn't know that in Ram's mind there is no " Priya or" it has already transitioned to "Priya and" he had already made that journey in his mind now it's her turn to make that journey to actually understand that she is not an option in Ram's life but a perpetual part of it. The only thing that is wrong in Ram's part is his actions they dont match with how he feels in context to Priya. Yes he has stopped going after vedika like he used to in the earliest episodes and ignore her and is very formal with her most of the time, but he needs to put his foot down where vedika is concerned and take firm actions in support of Priya. He is always happy when Priya claims to be his wife or do wifely duties but he needs to understand that marriage is a two way street and 5% stakes in a company is not gonna cover it. He said to Priya that " I'm your husband I'm taking care of you ,get used to it" he needs to firmly show it not say it. Priya is struggling with her mind and Ram is struggling with his heart. They both are struggling and both needs to overcome their personal hell to come together.

Yes they are together in a marriage but this don't mean that they won't have their own individual struggles. They both are facing the consequences of their past experiences. They both will need patience and introspection to make it work.

I guess to understand Ram-Priya one needs to go deep into their past. We are saying based on what is being shown in our eyes why they are like that we at least have a insight of Priya's past but do we have any insight of Ram's past how was he with his family,why is he behaving in a certain way even Priya has no clue abt his life she is also seeing what is shown to her right infront of her eyes. She doesn't know anything abt Ram nor Ram knows anything about Priya to build that trust on each other. They both are living in their own world only at least Ram is making a move but Priya is in square one

Whatever Ram knows abt Priya is through Meera and except for her he has no access but to assume & guess what is running in her mind & heart as she is so unpredictable for him with Meera's clues & Brinda's highlight he tries to know Priya but most of the time she shuts off her emotions

Ram,Priya is still oblivious abt him she knows nothing abt him,what was he,how he lived. What she is seeing is a delusion of Ram image she needs to know him throughout

We expect Ram to stand up to these🐍but first of all these🐍are not people who just join him they are with for his 38 yrs of age with him. Wow and their🐊fake concern & love for him totally made him under their control becos Ram's weakness is love he is craving for love and they know it. How will he stand up against this🐍just like that he needs to know their true colours. Priya is what she is due to her bitter experiences & Ram is what he is due to the way his atmosphere upbringing. Both are different in both ways. Priya seen the truth of lives in bitterness noone painted any kind of illusion and deluison image in her mind of love and concern while Ram is living his entire life in illusion & delusion once it breaks more than disaster for him becos he has noone and he is too emotional as a person that it might create a disaster in him and he too can go Priya way of living life in bitterness and this is what Ram gang fears

Both are complex characters and we are seeing them as our perspective that Ram should do this & Ram should do that & same for Priya. We should step on their shoes and see from their perspective

If he is living in a delusional life for 38 yrs its due to the toxic atmosphere he lives in and a practical person only can break his delusion of 38 yrs and it will be his wife Priya & the best part when his delusion breaks his one & only strength his wife is there with him

Idk about party and stuff ,although after the incident Ram recently went through and him realising that he needs to change his lifestyle for his family's sake he would not be himself willing to fall back to his old patterns but yes it could be fun to see him out with friends. But I don't want him wasting his promise on all this. I want him to do something for Priya which meant a lot to her but Priya wasn't letting him do. It could be such a major step forward in their relationship for both of them realising that doing something for Priya means so much more to ram that he used his promise for Priya to make her happy and not for something that could make him happy .
