Yes this is typical EK story of bringing vamp and ex in the house but I have my hopes high that she is going to bring RaYa close.

Like Nandu, Veduuuu will also become an unintentional catalyst in bringing RaYa close 😆

Haha! Vedu the unknown, unwanted cupid.

But Nandu's popat face was better than Vedu's delusion.

But today all what Priya said in her monologue was true too. I also agree with her on what she said to Ram regarding rishto aur shaadi mein chunna padta hai. But what all has already happened in her life is not that easy to let go of. It will take time.

I agree with Ram too that he made a mistake and ho jaati hai har kisi se galti. Ram is right too but considering Priya's nature, Ram should also understand what she has already been through. What if Ram would have told her not to extend the topic and not taken her side? No doubt Ram should have spoken up. There was your wife she was expecting something and he should have spoken up.

And the promo would be final blow to Priya's trust issues she always had with males in her life.

Somewhere both were right at their places. But still, I can also relate to Priya more today.

And I just loved today's episode.❤️

Absolutely agree with you. Priyas monologue and hurt was so well portrayed. Disha played the part amazingly.

New to the forum. Been a silent member on the edt, but I do read the fan fictions.

I slightly disagree with you. Priya is not as strong as she portrays. She is someone who has been deeply hurt by the men in her life. So, it's obvious that she will be wary of someone who the entire society considers to be the most important man in a woman's life. Her husband.

While we as viewers might be able to see the special place ram gives priya, she cannot. And Ram hasn't been exactly vocal about priyas place in his life. Ram was the one who claims to still love another woman. Ram was the one who apparently left the wedding. It turned out to be someone else's fault was revealed later. Ram cancelled akki shivi wedding without giving any reason to priya, and when the truth was revealed she was even more hurt. Now, he keeps quiet when akki was accused just because he was as hurt as priya. I don't think so. It felt as if he was more concerned about everyone other than priya and akki. Even priya was shocked, but she atleast spoke something. Ram was silent. He pointed out vedika when Priya left, so how is priya supposed to know that ram spoke in her favour, even if it was 1 sentence.

Even when he comes to the bakery, he wants priya to say that she is hurt, but he cannot apologise. Why so?

I felt priya was justified in what she said today.

Ram has done nice things for priya and her family, but when it comes to trusting priya in things that matter ram has always failed. What reason has ram given priya to trust him?

Even when he tried to make priya smile during the Sangeet ceremony it was more due to shivi than wanting priya to smile.

When he gave the shares to priya, it felt not that he wanted to make priya a part of his life, but more like he was paying her gratitude for going to the temple. Why give her a share in Shubham's company when he knows shubham doesn't like priya. Why not give her shares of one of his own company?

Ram might have accepted the marriage, but he doesn't give any priority to his wife. He shares a few moments with Meera, where he is shown trying to understand priya, but when the time comes he doesn't really understand her.

Priya keeps on saying that the marriage is not real, but she has fulfilled more responsibilities than should be expected of her.

Sorry if my post offends anyone, that is not the intention.

I totally agree. I just posted kind of same thing in a gist. Yours better with an example.

The bold last parah, that is very true.

Ram might behave properly but obviously nandini and very won't.

Also, about setting boundaries, ram still calls vedika as vedu. And honesty that is disgusting. Even if ram got married recently, vedika got married a long time back. He should have stopped calling her vedu a longggg time back.

Red: Doesn't matter much, I think because Ram was in one side love and he never crossed his boundaries. Besides Shashi and Vedika were okay with it. Because money🤪

Green: This is what I don't want, I want Ram to speak up where he should. Baatein toh har koi kar leta hai, but actions matter.

If Ram will speak up Priya will start believing him, otherwise kehne se sirf kya hota hai. He will be like all other men who disappointed her. And why not, if she is your wife you should speak up.

If he doesn't speaks where he should Priya will be proven right. That she was right no one will stand up for her.

More than Priya jataoing her haq on Ram, I want Ram to speak up and take stand for right things and openly show that Priya is his wife, she comes first.

Priya jealously track can come after this where she is confused/denial about her feelings. Then it would make senses

I feel Priya wants to trust Ram, but his silence when she needs support stops her. On what confidence can she question Ram or show that she is hurt due to Ram’s behavior. Moving forward, I am pretty sure that this is going to be his behavior with Vedika too in the house.

I am still appalled as how this incident to trap Akki in sex scandal is trivialized and how Ram is silent in the matter mainly due to Vedika’s involvement. All this is clearly evident to Priya.

How can Vedika compare Priya helping two consenting adults marry to trapping somebody in sex scandal. All this looks too stupid!!

Priya is absolutely right to punish people who scams people in sex scandals and her reasoning is correct. Also she didn’t say that the marriage is fake today. She feels it because other people question their marriage and Ram remains silent.

Felt really really bad for Priya today 😪. She is very much right in her place about her concern for Akki and disappointment on Ram. Akki is such a good guy and he would have been disgraced for life with a blame like that, ruining everything for him. If not he'd been smart enough things could have gone down for him. If Vedhika really cared for Ram, she would have let out the plans and real intentions behind Shubham's actions, rather than taking the blame and keeping him further in the dark.

Priya's monologue in the bakery clearly displayed how she convinces herself to never keep hopes on others, that she's alone always, so that she can never face any such aching disappointment in future. Not trusting and not letting others in, is a shield for her from keeping herself safe from heartaches. It was heartbreaking to watch. Hope Ram makes up for it soon.

I know many of us here are excited that the Vedika entry in Kapoor mansion will bring Ram-Priya closer, of course after a lot of misunderstandings, drama & heartbreak. But I find it humiliating for Priya that Ram’s love for her needs this disgusting catalyst. It will be humiliating for Priya to go thru the MUs that Vedika will no doubt create all thanks to Ram’s cooperative silence or dumb obliviousness.

I am bracing myself for cringe tropes like Vedika dressing up in Priya’s saree gifted by Ram, oops by mistake! And Ram wondering why Priya is overreacting to such a small honest mistake. No love is worth having to go thru that sh*t, in my view.

Why do women in these shows have to walk the path of humiliation, that too at the hands of other women - whether saas or souten - in order to find love?

Will they ever show a husband tolerating his wife’s ex or close male friend staying under the same roof & humiliating him by indirectly referring to their old love?

I think that Priya’s distrust is not limited to just men. She doesn’t trust anyone except herself. And she is this way because of the various betrayals in her life- father, Neeraj, Sara di’s husband, Maitri etc. to name a few. And it is this which has made her cynical- believing the worst of everything and everybody. Such people do find it hard to trust other people. Priya sees and acknowledges the goodness in Ram. Even talks about trust as the foundation of their marrige. But she herself hasn’t been able to trust Ram 100% despite the fact that she was the one who raised the issue of the importance of trust in their marriage. Trust is something that is earned and not given. Only through Ram’s actions will she learn to trust him fully. Though Ram has over time managed to gain her trust in a lot of things, she still lives in fear that one day he too will leave her. So it is better that even in this ‘asli’ marriage she should behave as if she has only herself to fall back upon. Hence, she reacted today the way she did.

Exactly.

Other than this why not have a strong male lead character who speaks up for his wife, takes stand for her openly, why should Priya deal with Vedika? It should be Ram dealing with her. It's his past, his mess he should shut her up.

I'm definitely not excited with this development it's definitely gonna be a pain for a while, with her plotting and stuff. It might bring PriRa closer eventually yeah, but the drama until that point of time is gonna be torture. Especially this being an EK show, this track is already giving me chills, as her show villains can test our patience like hell.
