New to the forum. Been a silent member on the edt, but I do read the fan fictions.
I slightly disagree with you. Priya is not as strong as she portrays. She is someone who has been deeply hurt by the men in her life. So, it's obvious that she will be wary of someone who the entire society considers to be the most important man in a woman's life. Her husband.
While we as viewers might be able to see the special place ram gives priya, she cannot. And Ram hasn't been exactly vocal about priyas place in his life. Ram was the one who claims to still love another woman. Ram was the one who apparently left the wedding. It turned out to be someone else's fault was revealed later. Ram cancelled akki shivi wedding without giving any reason to priya, and when the truth was revealed she was even more hurt. Now, he keeps quiet when akki was accused just because he was as hurt as priya. I don't think so. It felt as if he was more concerned about everyone other than priya and akki. Even priya was shocked, but she atleast spoke something. Ram was silent. He pointed out vedika when Priya left, so how is priya supposed to know that ram spoke in her favour, even if it was 1 sentence.
Even when he comes to the bakery, he wants priya to say that she is hurt, but he cannot apologise. Why so?
I felt priya was justified in what she said today.
Ram has done nice things for priya and her family, but when it comes to trusting priya in things that matter ram has always failed. What reason has ram given priya to trust him?
Even when he tried to make priya smile during the Sangeet ceremony it was more due to shivi than wanting priya to smile.
When he gave the shares to priya, it felt not that he wanted to make priya a part of his life, but more like he was paying her gratitude for going to the temple. Why give her a share in Shubham's company when he knows shubham doesn't like priya. Why not give her shares of one of his own company?
Ram might have accepted the marriage, but he doesn't give any priority to his wife. He shares a few moments with Meera, where he is shown trying to understand priya, but when the time comes he doesn't really understand her.
Priya keeps on saying that the marriage is not real, but she has fulfilled more responsibilities than should be expected of her.
Sorry if my post offends anyone, that is not the intention.
