I am so with you on Meera being the most irritating positive character in this show! It gets me on my nerves when she says baccha am sorry and I failed u as a mother. I got irritated with Meera and also Priya who is always doing maa jaap. Omima!!! I know where Priya is coming from and I am sure even I wud hv been totally mad had the groom walked out in me! But their reactions are getting on my nerves. The problem I have with Priya is she hates her dad but still happy to see that her dad did her kanyadaan .. I mean what's that supposed to mean and convey to audience?!

I am probably the only person in the forum who likes Meera 🤣 She can't act, but I find her cute.

exactly! I really didn't understand priya's motivation on wanting her dad there. this man cursed you and said you will never get married. made fun of you when you got rejected on rishtas. so why does she want him there? why is she okay with him doing the rituals when she keeps complaining that he didn't provide for the family? it feels reallly flaky.

in real life, I know someone who was raised by her grandparents after the divorce. her father wanted to do the rituals and she told "NO" as he didn't raise her and argued about giving even little bit of money for education. the dad showed up as a guest and sat in the back along with everyone else. that was it. her grandfather did everything.

so yea, I really don't understand how priya is written at all.....

@bold Well that actually is true.. she doesn't want to let go of this amazing rishta with this ultra rich family, and she is happy that Priya got so lucky to get Ram Kapoor. Also it's a slap on the face of Mahendra Sood who had never left any chance to give baddua to Priya.. he was like- kaun shaadi karega iss ladki se... So I can understand why Meera is so pressed on getting PriRa married. But yes it does seem a bit desperate sometimes.. esp after all the insults from Kapoor fam they should have left from there .. nothing is worth more than your dignity and self-respect, and this woman severely lacks in those.
