The problem here people are comparing with BALH 1 becos of the title & character names. My question is Ram-Priya only made for S1 there are other couple too who can be named as Ram-Priya,its universal name and god's name if this season the couple named as Ram-Priya i don't find it any wrong at all they are other Ram-Priya too in the world who are in mid & late 30s but not married. I don't know the fuss abt it

Stop comparing one will enjoy the show

Its not even a sequel or remake in my eyes nothing is same except for the core essence of the story which is Arrange Marriage & Love Happens After Marriage

I am a S1 fan and i watch S2 as a different show

In S1 everything was good in slow phase but than the love story was stick to 8-9 months than the rest was all about drama & more drama since Ram-Sakshi are known for their drama genre they blend it with it keeping the Kasam Se & Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki image when its Ram-Sakshi the drama has to be top notch thus they blend the romance & drama in balance

S2 its rushing becos they are going to start the actual story which is the arrange marriage & love after marriage concept which is what the show all about the actual progression will start after PriRa marriage they might make this more romantic with slight element of drama since Nakuul & disha are known for their romantic image

We cannot compare S1 Ram's gang with S2 Ram's gang as the era was different so is Vikram-Neha & Aditya Brinda Kunal & Vikrant they are totally different in personalities and younger than Vikram-Neha who were mature. If u see their antics and dynamics they are totally different

S1 was more mature intense dramatic

S2 is mature simple sweet & subtle with rain giving its beautiful touch as love symbol with its own drama

Both seasons has its own charm & beauty

I love both seasons and i just hate comparing thus i don't write anything that is comparing to S1 becos both are totally different

About season 1 before the second leap there were some dramatic things still the serial was going good😃. But after the generation leap (2nd leap) I loved how they showed priya to be wrong as no one can be right everytime but I didn't like the way they destroyed pihu's character. After third leap pihu's character destruction was on and that ott love triangle was the most illogical track🤔

I'm disappointed with the fact that there are too many characters playing Ram & Priya's family and friends and none of them have been established properly in this season. Priya's parents, Kartik, Nats, Ayesha, Mamaji, Ram's step mom were well established characters. Vikram and Neha were on some different level altogether and their bond with Ram was sooo good❤️Here, Vrinda hasn't even been shown to strike a conversation with Priya or get to know her better.

This is why it should not be compared becos its different

Brinda-Priya might bond in coming days they have to becos she is the only person who understands Ram-Priya individually and might bring them closer

S1 characters are mature

S2 characters are goofy simple subtle & sweet they want to maintain that essence

Hmm....maybe. I like that kind of story telling which establishes the characters first and then proceeds to the main plot. Guess I need to keep my patience if I intend to continue watching the show😆

In S1 they establish the characters as they wanted to show the beginning of journey before the actual plot starts with sub plots

In S2 they rushes up so that they can start the actual plot than establish the characters properly while here the plot itself is PriRa so after their marriage sub plots starts

Yeah we should stop comparing... It's best we see it as a separate show .

Personally, I'm okay with generation leaps, depending on the direction of the show after, some shows do vastly improve with leaps, but BALH died with teenage Peehu. And adult Peehu isn't even worth mentioning tbh😳They should've just ended the show with Pari and Myrah's birth instead. It was watchable up to that point even if not as great as it was initially. Teenage Peehu and adult Peehu just killed it. The Sami-Khush-Suhani-Peehu angle, also didn't do it any wonders and the body double of Ram in every episode was super obvious and super distracting on top of a bad storyline.😆It's a shame Ekta doesn't know when to give up.

Of all the damn things to happen in this world! As much as I'm liking the new season, Season 1 of Bade has my whole heart and soul. Removing the show from YouTube was so unnecessary, especially when all the other Sony shows are on YouTube.

Yeah initially I thought the channel got deleted since that happened a few days back as well, but no, everything else is there but BALH which is such a shame! Especially since they haven't launched SonyLiv everywhere yet. As it is, the YT version had the audio muted every third episode and episodes were cut in half, it really wasn't an ehsaan as such that they even uploaded it that they had to delete it😆

Yeah I also remember watching it in its and bits only when it aired, I did manage to skim through quite a bit of the show though before it was taken off, and I still found it watchable even if it was no longer that good, up to the 2nd leap. After that, though it was just awful. No wonder Ram made a run for it[=))]

Idk why makers are so hell bent on rushing the story of S2.. why don't they establish the characters and story well . Things are rushing and there's a lot of crowd.. and the depth in the story is missing...

The thing that makers have done really well in S2 is the characters of Ram and Priya.. and Nakuul and Disha's beautiful chemistry is the cherry on top. But otherwise, S1 was developed in a better way...

I guess it's what Mages said, s1 was a family drama at the end of it, which is why the side characters needed to be and had to be developed since they contributed to the storyline. This season, however, is entirely about Ram and Priya and Ram and Priya alone which is why they haven't really bothered. Add to which of course the pressure of ratings is there as well. Even her Bhagya Laxmi got the leads married in 2-3 weeks flat from what I know.

But I definitely agree, they did do a really good job at building the storyline in s1 regardless, at least from the original generation, no one felt out of place or unwanted, all the characters moved the story forward in one way or the other. Here though like you're saying, Ram and Priya are a lot stronger and better etched out. In S1 they were really sweet characters, but character sketch wise they were just the quintessential Ekta leads, forever giving and sacrificing😆
