The main difference between S1 and S2 till now is that S1 had a much better developed storyline.. the side characters were also developed really well and yes, Ram's gang of friends in S2 can't compare to Vikram and Neha of S1.. they were so freaking cute and their dynamic with Ram was beautiful.

Idk why makers are so hell bent on rushing the story of S2.. why don't they establish the characters and story well . Things are rushing and there's a lot of crowd.. and the depth in the story is missing...

The thing that makers have done really well in S2 is the characters of Ram and Priya.. and Nakuul and Disha's beautiful chemistry is the cherry on top. But otherwise, S1 was developed in a better way...

I guess trp pressure is another reason why the storyline isnt developed that strongly compared to s1, s1 didnt have much trp pressure since sony was a competitive channel for fiction shows also back then. but here its cause of trp they r rushing i guess. honestly fast pace is not the issue for me but i noticed there r some inconsistency with the character development of the supporting casts. especially vedu n nandini’s character very inconsistent. its such a shame cause the actress playing nandini is doing a great job but her characterization is hella confusing. the characters storyline also isnt gelling very well. too many characters to handle. as for ram’s friends vrinda n adi individually they r good, but its hard to say they r a couple. i m gonna totally ignore priya’s family side cause i dont understand whats going on there, priya’s mom character is quite inconsistent too.

the leads characters -priya and ram r developed really well, both quite unique characters in itv for now. i feel they should have named this show something else not balh, as balh1 fans wont like it already some r judging the show n chemistry without even trying to watch it. i honestly liked nakuul and disha’s pairing a lot. as for ram n priya they just met few days back n getting engaged , so the scenes they have now r kinda organic, if they show typical itv romance like 1 hr long eyelock, pisal gaya toh pakar liya etc etc makes no sense to me.

i was quite young when i watched s1 n dont understand much things back then so i cant say which is better s1 or s2. but s1 did have a unique factor which attracted a lot of audience which s2 is failing to do biggest pressure is that its a sequel of a super hit show.

There is one more problem I have noticed. In this season there are too many negative characters and except some handful of priya and ram's friend and akki no one is there to support them because other characters are weak. And the biggest problem the show is rushing like hell and is unable to develop some thing nicely. But still due to the ram and priya's character and even special mention to vrindra and akki I am liking this serial😃

agreed! i m looking forward to priya and ram’s story after they get married and also how priya’s bonding wil shape up with vrinda n adi. since vrinda is ram’s closest friend n understands him the most, i wanna see a similar bonding like this between priya n adi. akki is sweet guy and a gentleman. i liked how he didnt abandon shivina when she got ‘pregnant’ and instead supported her, usually in itv the guys will dump their gf in this case. akki’s good guy wish he got cooler parents his parents r so boring n meh 🤔, priya’s mom is better in this case. the actor playing akki is improving day by day. (seen him in a show b4 but cant really recall which, i remember seeing vrinda in a show with paras chabbra 😆) in priya’s family besides priya , sandy and akki r likeable, neutral about the mom n the other sisters,

ram’s family the step-family doesnt seem evil for now but kinda selfish n tubelight types 😆(but if they go s1 route the mom may change)

The problem here people are comparing with BALH 1 becos of the title & character names. My question is Ram-Priya only made for S1 there are other couple too who can be named as Ram-Priya,its universal name and god's name if this season the couple named as Ram-Priya i don't find it any wrong at all they are other Ram-Priya too in the world who are in mid & late 30s but not married. I don't know the fuss abt it

Stop comparing one will enjoy the show

Its not even a sequel or remake in my eyes nothing is same except for the core essence of the story which is Arrange Marriage & Love Happens After Marriage

I am a S1 fan and i watch S2 as a different show

In S1 everything was good in slow phase but than the love story was stick to 8-9 months than the rest was all about drama & more drama since Ram-Sakshi are known for their drama genre they blend it with it keeping the Kasam Se & Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki image when its Ram-Sakshi the drama has to be top notch thus they blend the romance & drama in balance

S2 its rushing becos they are going to start the actual story which is the arrange marriage & love after marriage concept which is what the show all about the actual progression will start after PriRa marriage they might make this more romantic with slight element of drama since Nakuul & disha are known for their romantic image

We cannot compare S1 Ram's gang with S2 Ram's gang as the era was different so is Vikram-Neha & Aditya Brinda Kunal & Vikrant they are totally different in personalities and younger than Vikram-Neha who were mature. If u see their antics and dynamics they are totally different

S1 was more mature intense dramatic

S2 is mature simple sweet & subtle with rain giving its beautiful touch as love symbol with its own drama

Both seasons has its own charm & beauty

I love both seasons and i just hate comparing thus i don't write anything that is comparing to S1 becos both are totally different

I'm disappointed with the fact that there are too many characters playing Ram & Priya's family and friends and none of them have been established properly in this season. Priya's parents, Kartik, Nats, Ayesha, Mamaji, Ram's step mom were well established characters. Vikram and Neha were on some different level altogether and their bond with Ram was sooo good❤️Here, Vrinda hasn't even been shown to strike a conversation with Priya or get to know her better.
