Ram parked his car and turned the car off. He got out and in seconds, he was opening the car door for me and helping me step out of the car.

He can tell I am so nervous so he squeezed my hands. "Hey, it'llbe okay.''

"What if they don't like me?'' I admitted. He just laughs as I raised an eyebrow at him.

"They'll love you. I promise.'' He assured me as we got in.

PART 9

Priya's P.O.V.

Ram held my hand as we walked into the kitchen. Everyone was there, except for Soumya and Sid I guess? I have hard time remembering their names.

They appear to be cooking something. I thought vampires don't eat. Maybe, they're cooking for me? Yeah, maybe.

A young lady with lil brown hair walked over to me. "Priya! We're making Mexican Food for you.''

"Priya, this is KK ji. The "mother'' of my family.'' Ram introduced.

"hello aunty'' I greet her wid word aunty and hope it is correct. She smiled so I guess I said the right thing.

"call me KK !'' She exclaimed.

"It gives us an excuse to use the kitchen for the first time.'' Ak Ji said.

"I hope you're hungry.'' KK ji told me. She was so motherly yet she looked so young.

"Yes absolutely!'' I lied. Ram already made me eat before we got here since they don't eat human food anymore.

"She already ate.'' Ram told them. Natasha glares at me before she crushes the salad bowl in her hand with ease.

"Perfect!''

"Sorry, guys. It's just that I know that you guys don't eat.'' I reasoned out. KK ji smiles at me even more.

"Of course. How considerate of you.'' Her motherly tone made me miss my Mom even more.

"Just ignore Natasha.'' Ram whispered to my ear, as if Natasha didn't hear him with her super vampire hearing.

"Yeah!'' She suddenly raised her voice. "Let's just pretend this isn't a danger to all of us.''

"I wouldn't tell anyone your secret.'' I admitted. "You can all trust me.''

"She knows that.'' Ak Ji said to Natasha.

Ram wrapped his arm around me as a sound from the near window interrupted us. Soumya and Sid stepped out of a tree. Soumya smiled when she saw me and quickly gave a warm or shall I say cold vampire hug.

"Hi, Priya!'' She greeted as she pulled away from the hug. She turned her head to Ram. "You're right. She really does smell good.''

"Soumya!'' Ram whined. Soumya just chuckled as she looks back at me. "I can tell we are going to be best friends.'' She winked at me.

Ram just rolled his eyes as he took my hands in his. "I'll just show Priya around the house.''

"Sure.'' KK ji smiled at the two of us.

Ram looked down at me and smiled as he led me upstairs. I'm glad most of his family wanted and accepted me, except Natasha though.

I'm sad that I feel that she hates me so much.

"No funny things, you two!'' Sid called out to us. I blushed redder than a tomato while Ram just shook his head and laughed silently to himself.

I saw a lot of graduation caps on the wall. Ram must have graduated high school over and over again

"I never thought a vampire's house looks this normal.'' I commented. Ram just chuckled before a dimpled smile curved on his lips.

"What do you expect to find? Coffins?'' He laughed at me.

I rolled my eyes at him as I walked around the second floor. "Maybe.''

"Then you're wrong.'' he told me from behind. He suddenly opened a door behind me, and I turned around after I heard the creaking.

"This is my room. Come on.'' He instructed as he opened the door for me. I smiled before I walked inside.

Ram's room is just like any teenage boy's room. The view was perfect; you can see the forest on the back of their house. I walked around admiring his stuff and collection of old CDs. Then, I noticed something.

"No bed?'' I questioned as I turned to face him.

"Vampires don't sleep.'' He answered plainly. I nodded as I stared at his things when my eyes landed on the piano. It's the kind of piano you see in orchestras.

(Let's just pretend that Ram plays the piano.)

"You play piano?'' I asked him again, He smiled and nodded, as he walked over to me. he wrapped his arms around me and guided me to where the piano is.

I sat on the chair and he sat next to me. His large hands started playing the piano keys, a tune starting.

"I was a quick, wet boy, diving too deep for coins
All of your street light eyes wide on my plastic toys
Then when the cops closed the fair, I cut my long baby hair
Stole me a dog-eared map and called for you everywhere

...'' His sang as his emerald eyes darted to me. My whole world melted as I listened attentively, his voice so angelic.

Ak Ji's P.OV.

I can hear the piano playing upstairs while Ram sang to Priya. I smiled, while KK ji side hug me...

"Ram looks so happy with her.'' She said. "I never see him smile like that.''

"Yes.'' I agreed. "Not even Sid' ability worked on him before. And he never sang and played the piano after RIYA died.''

"Speaking of RIYA,'' KK ji started. "didn't you notice that Priya has some resemblance with RIYA?'' (I'm not trying to copy any serial or movie.)

"I noticed that too.'' I agreed, before remembering something. "I need to talk to the others.''

we dashed vampire speed to the living room where the others are gathered. I saw Soumya sipping blood from a bottle.

"Soumya, what are you doing?'' I asked her as she looked up at me and smiled.

"Sorry.'' She said as she sipped the last drop of the blood. "Priya smells so good. I got thirsty.''

I nodded as I sit in the couch. "I have to ask you something. Soumya, when you touched Priya, what did you see?''

Everyone got serious as they waited for Soumya's answer. "Nothing. I saw nothing. For the first time touching a human, I didn't get any visions.''

"One thing's for sure.'' I spoke as all their heads snapped back to me. "Priya might not be a human.''

Priya's P.O.V.

When Ram finished singing and playing the piano, I was speechless. He looked up at me and shyly and smiled.

"What do you think?'' He asked me as he looked down.

"Ram, I loved it!'' I exclaimed. "No words can describe it.''

He grinned as he looked up to meet my eyes. "Glad you loved it.''

He then stood up and looked outside. "Hop on my back.'' He instructed.

I hopped on his back. "What are we going to do?''

"Hold on tight, sweetheart.'' He said as we leapt to the tree nearby. I closed my eyes and almost screamed. Ram, while I was still on his back, climbed into the highest part of the tree.

I finally opened my eyes and got off his back. The view of the whole town can be seen from where we were.

"Wow.'' I gasped. He grinned even wider as he stared at my reaction.

"What?'' I asked because I feel so unconscious as he stared and smirked at me.

"Nothing. You're just so beautiful.'' He complimented. I blushed and looked down. Wrong move. I saw how high we were and I accidently stepped back and almost fall, but Ram caught me.

He was inches away from my face and i leaned close in. but he moved away, uncomfortable. i noticed his reaction so i widened the space between us.

"Sorry.'' i murmured. he nodded as a thought entered into my mind. I remembered Neha asking me at college.

"What's between with you and Ram?'' She asked, a smirk on her pink lips. "Are you together?''

Are we together? I just want to know what we are. Friends, maybe?

Due to my curiosity and stupidity, words came out of my mouth before I even stopped them. "Ram, what are we?''

Ram's P.O.V.

Priya's eyes innocently looked at me before she asked a question that I couldn't really answer. "Ram, what are we?''whats our relation ???

I turned away, uncertain on how I will answer her simple question. I, myself, didn't know what we are. I mean, I'm protective towards her and I don't want her getting hurt but I don't know if what I really feel towards her is love. I have to admit, I'm still in love with RIYA and that still doesn't change. But she's gone and Priya makes me happier than she could ever do.

Before I could even answer to her question, she beat me to it. "It's okay if you don't want to answer. I'm just curious.''

I was forced to nod as she looked into the distance, the smile wiped from her face. I felt sad for her, but I still don't want to get attached yet until we finish Juhi off.

The sun is slowly setting and the sky is getting darker each minute as silence engulfed us. The wind started getting colder causing Priya to shiver.

"I think I need to go home.'' I heard her murmur. I nod and instructed her to hop on my back again. She did as she was told and we leapt back to my room.

"Stay here. I'll come and get you.'' I told her and she nodded as made herself comfortable in my room's couch. I exited my room and dash vampire speed downstairs where I heard Ak Ji call for me.

They were all gathered around in the living room, discussing something yet again. All their darted to my direction once I reached the area.

"Where is Priya?'' KK ji asked me as she scanned her eyes behind my back.

"I think it's best if I leave her upstairs in my room.'' I replied as I took a seat next to Sid. "So, Ak Ji, why did you call me?''

"We need to ask you certain questions about Priya.'' Ak Ji answered as he looked straight into my eyes.

"What is it?''

"Are you sure that Priya is indeed human?'' Ak Ji's question made me want to laugh. Of course, Priya is human. If she wasn't, I should have smelled it since I am always with her or at least she could have defended herself.

"Of course, she's human!'' I exclaimed. "What else would she be?''

"But she's immune to both your ability and Soumya's.'' he spoke quietly. "And we all know that your abilities only both works on humans and vampires.''

"What is she then?'' I asked Ak Ji who was deep in thought.

"I don't know.'' He admitted. "I'll conduct researches on legends to try and find an answer to Priya's immunity.''

"Why are you so interested in her?'' I suddenly blurted out rather harshly.

"I'm not.'' Ak Ji defended. "It's just that she must be special. Ram, you're hypnotism abilities are very strong and no human or any powerful vampire has ever been able to withstand it. And as for Soumya, her visions are uncontrollable especially if she touches any human or vampire.''

Before I can utter another question, we heard a loud crash upstairs. from my room..

Priya's P.O.V.

I don't why disappointment nagged at me when Ram never really answered my question a while ago. Do I want him to say we were more than friends? ohhh, no? Maybe? Do I love him? I don't know.

I paced back in forth in my seat in the couch as I feel uneasy. What is taking Ram so long downstairs?

I let out a sigh as I stood up from the couch and began wandering around his room again. I walked over to the door and twisted the doorknob. The whole house is quiet but I can hear silent murmurs downstairs. I closed the door and just decided to wait for Ram until he comes and picks me up here.

My eyes suddenly landed on an old picture in Ram's desk. I walked over to it and what I saw made me froze.
