Lakshmi' finally to hit the screen

Lakshmi' is finally slated to release on the 21st of March, this year. The film which is written and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, Produced by Satish Kaushik, Elahe Hiptoola, Jayantilal Gada and Nagesh Kukunoor, under the banner of Pen films, UV News Media & Communication Limited, SIC productions and A Kukunoor Movies Production has had its share of trouble.

The film stars Monali Thakur, Shefali Shah, Ram Kapoor, Nagesh Kukunoor, Satish Kaushik, Flora Saini, Vibha Chibber and Gulfam Khan. With such an ensemble cast the film revolves around a true story of heroism and untold courage.

It is about a child whose spirit could not be broken. A hero in a land filled with cowards, whose courage and determination finally triumphs over evil. The film has also won Audience award at Palm Springs International Film Festival.

Nagesh Kukunoor has been at the helm of films like Iqbal', Dor', 8\10 Tasveer' amongst others and has garnered appreciation and an unbeaten track record. Lakshmi' has been in the news for a long time and now that it is ready to be released, it'll be interesting to see Nagesh moving onto another story, and quickly!
