CHAPTER 5 – Jealousy Leads To Serious Trouble….

Ram's phone ring…he looks into it ….it was a text by Akirti…..his lips break into a smile as well as more tears make their way out of his eyes….he reads the text and feels a stab in his heart….😭

"I am going back to London Ram…I thought I will be fine….but seems your memories wont let me be in peace…I know I told you after u leave I wont text you anymore but this is the last from me….i love you Ram…..and I always want you to be happy and you can only be happy with Priya…..take care Ram….."

Ram felt like killing himself …he had played with two girls' heart and both of them deserved surely dint a shit like he was…..his mind takes him back to the time he first talked to Akirti….that was out of jealousy and insecurity…😭

FLASHBACK –

One Year Back-

"hey babz" ….Ram said as he kissed Priya on the cheek and sat next to her….

"hi baby…" she said pecking him on the cheek…

"so what you are so busy in" he asked…

"aah that same presentation for the seminar…" she said concentrating back again on her laptop….

"oh the one you are doing with Kabir…" Ram said teasing….

"yaa the same you called bullshit and I had no other option then to agree to Kabir when he asked to be his partner"…she retorted….

"oh so where is Kabir huh."

"don't start it again….he has gone to the Economics Professor to show him our Presentation ."

"so what if you get selected I mean what next then ?" he asked curiously…

"um we will be going to Bangalore….for the event.."

"what Bangalore …you two alone" he asked all shocked..

Priya tried to hide her smile…."ya you heard it right baby"

"oh I don't mind even I am also gonna send my presentation with Akirti.."

Priya looks at him… "oh you didn't wanted to work with me..but you have no problem with Akirti.." she said rolling her eyes…

"don't start it again.."

"no no..i am rather happy…..chalo atleast now you will do something….this presentation might add up in your final semester results….so go for it.." she said flashing her cutest smile….

"okay now I gotta go…meet you at lunch " she said leaving Ram ….

"WHAT THE HELL…..THEY BOTH ALONE IN BANGALORE….NO CRAP…..ALONE…NO IT CANT BE"…he thought to himself…..

Ram thought about Akirti and slammed his forehead….dude couldn't you think of some other girl…..he cursed himself for the trouble he had deliberately invited…..

Akirti was a London return hotty…..arrogant and absolutely out of my league…..why on earth he came up with Akirti's name…..he thought….he then saw Kabir entering the canteen laughing and talking about his presentation….

"I got to do this….i cant let this bas**** go to Bangalore with Priya…"

He then spots Akirti going towards her hostel…..he follows her and calls out her name,,…

"Akirti"

"yes" she said turning back…

"umm actually there is that Presentation competition …."

"I have read about it" she interrupted…

"oh so you know I am almost done with it…so I was wondering if you could be my partner.."….

"almost done?...so why do you need me.." she said and started moving….

Ram followed…"wo actually it's a competition for a team of two so plz"

She stopped …."ok then how much are you done with it?"

"actually to be pretty honest I haven't even started yet." He said smiling sheepishly….

"that's what I thought…"

"so will you be my partner?" he asked….

"meet me at the mess in the evening at 8.." she said and walked away….

Ram nodded….

Ram entered his room…Ansh was waiting for him there smiling…

"what" Ram asked…

"so your finally giving yourself a chance huh" he said punching him on the arm…

"dude what the **** are you talking"

"you and Akirti….dumb***…I saw you both smiling and talking" he said sitting on the sofa…

"dude its just we are working together for the competition remember that's seminar on Finance and Economics that's gonna be happening…" ram said grabbing a water bottle…

"you and competition…have you lost your nuts" Ansh mocked….

"shutup dude …actually Priya and Kabir are also doing…and they might go to Bangalore if selected…so" Ram said….

Ansh looked at him digusted…"dude this is the limit"

Ram looks at him " why whats wrong"

"whats wrong….i mean you are doing this just coz Priya and Kabir are doing so….dude you are such shit and screwed…if you are not worth or she is not worth whatever has to happen will happen…"

"but dude" Ram interrupted…

"look dude…if you love her let her go…you cant stick around with her always and every second….this is so disgusting" ansh was pissed….

"its not that..Ansh…"

"oh yeah you don't trust her accept it" ansh retorted…

"its not that" Ram yelled…

"oh yeah then why didn't you ask Sparsh or Atul….huh why a girl"

"you know Sparsh divya are not in talking terms to me…." Ram tried to defend himself…

"oh so why not Atul he is our friend and moreover good in studies…" Ansh enquired…

"its something between me and Priya"

"oh accept it you don't trust her….well whatever its your life….but tell me did Akirti say yes" Ansh asked curiuos….

"yeap…she is pretty approachable…." Ram told…

"damn where on earth was I ….never mind will approach her next time" he smirked….

Ram cell rang…it was Akirti…he told her he will be there at the mess in no time and hangs up…while making his way to the mess…Ram's mind was occupied with Ansh's words…."do I really don't trust Priya..ofcouse I did…we are together since 3 years now…she knows how much I love her and she knows how uncomfortable I get with the thought of Kabir…."

Flashback ends…

Ram – "I wish that day didn't come in our lives….coz after that everything changed…I changed….." 🥺
