Shouldn't Ram Kapoor have been the first choice?

Do you guys think anyone could have done a better job than Ram Kapoor as the lead actor in BALH. From the promos what I thought was this role was tailor made for Ram Kapoor. I love the chemistry between Sakshi and Ram 👍🏼and they have given a mystic feel to the show. I doubt if it would have been the same if Sameer Soni had been in the lead. Its said that samir had been offered the role first

It doesn't matter who was approached first but what matters is who get's to play the character because in the end we remember the actor who played the character.

I don't believe that line in that TB article, firstly.

Ekta waited for both Ram and Sakshi for these characters cuz they are perfect for them...the chemistry that they both bring together to these characters is not something I can imagine if there was another actor in place of either of them. And this is not to compare anything or anyone...I just feel that Ram and Sakshi suit these characters perfectly and make a fantastic on-screen pair.

Sameer Soni is a good actor too. He would have brought his own thing to the role. But it's hypothetical and entirely besides the point...
