Wait, now I just realised why Bharti's behaviour didn't sit well with me.

When the doc first told her about her complications and the need to abort she was going to tell Murli. She only decided not to when she saw how happy he was at the baby's impending arrival. She said that she would keep this baby for HIM! For his happiness. That Murli's happiness lay in becoming a father.

Isn't that what we've been hearing from her for weeks? That she was going to keep this baby for him? Even on Friday's epi she said that if she can give him a child, give him this happiness then atleast her soul can be at peace.

BUT murli has categorically said from the moment he found out that HE wanted to keep HER alive. The baby was secondary to HER. So, clearly HIS happiness doesn't lie in the child as much as Bharti thought it did. Yes it would be lovely to have one, but Murli obviously isn't so hell bent on having one that he'd risk Bharti's life.

So if MURLI'S happiness was the primary reason for keeping the baby in the first place, what's happens about his happiness now that he's said it lies in having Bharti in his life?

I'll tell you what's happened. Murli's happiness is as defined by Bharti. She always says 'for your happiness', but what she always means is 'but only if I think it's what you need to be happy'. Hence continuously going against him over everything.

I understand, I really do that she's angry with him. But I can't actually understand her right now. In fact I've never understood her!

@ kt25 - Exactly! She puts up with shit from others and is still prepared to kiss their feet. She makes excuses for their ill-treatment of her and justifies people like Gau and her greed, but totally refuses to at the VERY LEAST see her husbands pain.

I get she's angry. I get she's hurt. I get she's livid at his underhanded manner. What I don't get is her absolute refusal to understand his pain or even to allow him to feel it! And this isn't just from today. I felt this from Friday's epi too. She went from 'Im doing this for Murli-Ji' to completely hysterical 'MY baby and I'M kepping it at all cost'!

there is definitely a big loophole in her statement...she was saying that she wanted it for murli's happiness; but once she decided to have the baby, which was initially for murli's happiness, she herself grew attached to her unborn child...every thing went hand in hand...this is the indescribable bond of these relationships, ie, between husband and wife, between a mother and her child, and between children and their parents...there is no hard and fast rule in these relationships...
now as mother, she could not accept killing her baby, even if it comes at the cost of her own life...

Yes, I understand all of this as a mother. But when has Murli's opinion ever mattered on anything? and it unfuriates me that she always thinks it's acceptable for her to do everything she accused him of today, but not him. Yes, her instinct is to protect her child, but why can't Murli even SAY what he feels let alone actually being allowed to act upon them? Bharti needs to realise that she got herself into this situation. She should have been honest and upfront and given Murli his right to know what's going on and have a say in the matter and work together with her. She didn't give him any of his rights as a husband or as a father.

She was hurt when she found out Murli hid the intimacy issue from her. And yet Murli was trying to prevent exactly this from happening. I'm sorry, as much as I love Bharti and as much as I know she's hurt, I feel Murli is always stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to his wife and her wants and desires.

I appreciate the situation today may be different. But had Bharti not dissappointed me so many times in the past with her lying and her deception (all justified in her own head), then perhaps I would feel for her more. But she's got me to a point where I just wonder with incredulity at the things she says and does.

Clearly she can fight. Both metaphorically and phyisically. Where does all that go when she's being walked all over by others? I wish she had saved that slap for GauMti who are more desrving of it.

Well ssems everyone tries to sort things out after this... Shock? Dunno how to express it in a better way! Puhh, I can't get over it! Bharti!!!! What drives u to do that? I can understand hrr very well but stiil I feel soo bad about these slaps. Murli doesn't deserve this! No way! Beeing a mother i understand her protectiveness about this child.But, it has a deeper reason! Murli just slept once with her, this child is the result! He never touched her again, we all know his reasons, but in her subconcious its her way to save this result of the only really happy and normal night between them. Thats y she is so desperate. She wants to proove him, see Murli g , I am a normal woman, I can give u the happiness of becoming a father! Whatever both of them have done to each other in the past, they now love each other like crazy. Bharti choosed a really sick way to show her love. Her uncertanty drives all this. Trying to be everybodys darling , cause ur mom teaches u to take care of the whole sasural, is the rest of the story. And now , everything lies really in Gods hands( better said CVs) .

There is a difference between killing a born child & aborting a fetus. Bharti claimed to understand Murli & his feelings for Murari...the fact is that she knew nothing about Murli's pain & she said she understood him & kept on telling him to forgive Murari...my foot!😡 She's plain selfish...👎🏼nothing more than that😡 She's a liar🤬 she's the deceiver😡...not Murli😡 I hate that 🤬Bharti. I started hating her the day she brought Mridala back & since then, my hatred just doesn't decrease at all. The more I read the udpates, the more I hate her. All she wants is the world to call her Mahaan...😡🤢 I wonder where did all the sympathy I used to have for her disappear If Bharti is suffering then it's all bcoz of herself. She's the only cause for it, nobody else. She herself had been digging the grave for herself...so what if she falls in it & drops down dead🤢 If Bharti had given this same slap long time back when Murli was treating her so badly, then I would be praising Bharti...but nope! Too bad Bharti!👎🏼 Too bad!😡

I'll prefer to stay away from updates from now onward...why to boil my blood for a good-for-nothing serial which once upon a time claimed to be different...what's different?😕😡 The size of the DIL...that's it!!!😡

Btw how come the channel is so obsessed with this serial that there's no news of it going off air? It's running & running with a leap in future😡🤣 Isn't this the same Imagine channel obsessed with axing all the shows...maybe Good shows . That's why BAVD is safe as it doesn't fall in that category of Good Shows😉🤣

i watch on and off only but bharti is simply beyond me to understand her at all.

vik u r right channel is axing lot of shows so why r they keeping it still.

Had I been writing this update, I'd have titled it 'Mrs Pot goes ballistic on Mr Kettle'.

Had any other woman been in Bharti's place and done to Murli what she did, I'd have supported her. But not Bharti. As both Vik & Rakhie pointed out, she's a serial liar. And not just in this pregnancy case, but also in the past. And as Rakhie pointed out, if she can welcome Murari, who attempted to kill an already born Murli, how dare she launch into Murli for trying to abort her kid? So essentially, her reputation as a top ranking hypocrite shines thru

Bharti's past deeds like being a doormat for everyone in the family, I can grant as her prerogative whether she wants to be self-assertive or not. Similarly, if she chooses not to empathize w/ how Murli might feel after she is gone, okay. But some of her past deeds, like recalling Mridala, welcoming Murari went against what her husband wanted, and on top of that, she just wrote away Murli's property to Chimshala (I think I like this name better than Gauti, which is the nickname of Gautam Gambhir) was just as deceptive and fraudulent as what she's accusing Murli of. Besides, Gau & Chimti too have been wanting her baby dead, and she hasn't had any problems w/ them, so far. So like usual doormat women, she sticks to the time honored 'niche kato, upar chato' cliche, which has of course worked wonders for her.

If in real life I were in Murli's place, I'd take advantage of her height (and mine) to kick her on the face and repeat to her every evil thing she did, like welcoming Murari, Mridala and essentially supporting all my enemies. I'd then accuse her of disloyalty, and tell her that her child would die if she did. Maybe catch her by the hair and hold her @ my eye level. Like Rakhie, I'm not for domestic violence, but the last person who has any right to accuse others of lying to her is Bharti.

I've stopped watching this long ago, and just read the updates. Next, after a leap, she's going to agonize after 8 years wondering whether her kid too will be a midget. I'd really like her kid to grow up and be someone like Maulik in Bandini, who became such a criminal that in the end, his mother had to kill him. I want her son to be someone like that and turn on her and accuse her of betraying him to his enemies, and ill-treating her, driving her to the point where she regrets not aborting him. That would be poetic justice and her just deserts.

No matter for whatever reasons Bharti had lied, the fact is... she lied. No justification can work from her side. If she says she didn't want to hurt him then same applies to what Murli did...He did it for BhartiBut only if Bharti realizes it

Why did I even read the updateI think I should just stay away from this forum coz reading the updates just boil my blood...nothing more & all I can give away is negative comments...nothing moreWhere did my dear Jas go by pulling me back to this forum. Excellent observation. By producing a continuous stream of crap (similar to one I once got when I experimented w/ a roadside dish a year or so ago), they've ensured their longevity for this channel. I watch it b/w RBO breaks, but after this week, there'll be no more RBO. Theek hei, that's normally the time we have dinner, so it'll work for me.

Is Rakhie Sawant's (not our Rakhie's 😈) azab gazab kahaniyan going to be a weekday show or a weekend show? If the former, looks like BAVD is the only other thing that it can displace, since BBGC is still in the top 100, whereas BAVD left it long ago.
