Thanks fuzzyface. I guess we need to give ourselves some explanation and find some method in this madness for our own sanity as the CVs are not going to close the loops they have opened up.

I love the way we as fans are delving so deeply into this, while for the CV's it's just a bit of creative fun! 😆

does murli have a dichotomised mind, where one part of him likes bharti, and the other doesn't...
i cannot understand this psychology. please excuse me for it...maybe there are folks like that, but i strongly believe, if a person is in love, he/she is either in it or out of it. there is absolutely no middle ground... it goes for attraction and chemistry too...it is there OR it is not there...
it may be due to the sort of person i am... i understand that there are things in an individual's subconscious mind, and personally i do have some of my own, but even then i am aware of them. they are very clear in my mind. so, i personally cannot comprehend this dichotomy explanation for murli's paranoia too well...there can be a dilemma or double mindedness over an issue, but certainly not for LOVE...it is the most beautiful thing in the world...the most powerful force, the most serene breeze, and it just happens...no questions asked...and no confusion in it...

when some one is genuinely in love, it is unconditional too. so here again lies the test for murli. if he does love bharti genuinely, they both have to face the issues together...whether it is related to pregnancy complication or the child getting the dominant genes from either parent. they are in it together. thats what i expect to see..

i would again stress though, through this forum that the 'intimacy issue' should be resolved. it is important for the continuity of the show. and for the peace of audiences' minds. this issue needs to be settled by showing a couple of scenes to this effect...

@ Opti, I wrote a long reply to your post above and the stupid laptop froze and it dissappeared of the screen! 😭
But in short, Murli has always been shown to be sensible. So I'm thinking it's the CV's that are stupid and lax! 😡
Rupesh mentioned at the beginning sometime that Bharti can be a mother. This implied that they had looked into such matters. If you have a 'condition' that MAY place limitations on your body are you not likely to then look into ALL matters relating to the physical, and not just pregnancy?😕
Bharti being shocked puzzled me. I had been expecting her to say to Murli that had you spoken to me straight away, all your fears would have been allayed. There is nothing wrong with me. I am as capable as any woman. Moreover had I felt any physical distress would I have persisted in wanting to be close to you?
But yes, they definitely need to show a few scenes to clarify whether Murli is over his fears and if he has decided to resume marital relations again.👍🏼
Intimacy after one SR? Please whoever heard of such a thing!?😉
The way these shows depict this, anyone would be forgiven for thinking that all desi's make love once in their lifetime and bas! Khatam! And if intimacy to that level is never shown again, then intimacy during pregnancy doesn't stand a hells chance of being suggested let alone shown!

Well I can understand her shock. She could have thought that the doctor told Murli something later which she did not tell her, thinking that she may feel inadequate for her husband. So it is Murli's reaction which was puzzling, for he apparently thought that Bharti knew something that he did not, which is why he had sought the doctor's opinion. Now having revealed what he thought the doctor said, Bharti seems to have been in the dark till he brought it up. So this should have made him wonder whether the doctor really said what he thought she said, shouldn't it?

As to the physical distress part, from what they have shown it appears that it was the first time for both Murli and Bharti and the first time is almost always painful for the woman even if she is of normal height. In fact for some it could take quite a while before she is physically comfortable in this matter. So Bharti may not have given much thought to it even if she had felt some discomfort thinking it was normal. Now with Murli ascribing her discomfort to her height and telling her that the doctor herself said so, she would have no reason to doubt it. She does not know the doctor actually did not say what he said she did.

Getting her pregnant at the first go is an indication to me they are not going to revisit this issue again. Lets see what they do.

You are right. Intimacy is still a taboo subject especially in family dramas such as this one. They showed whatever they did in this show to highlight a just doubt that many may have in their mind in this area specially given the nature of the relationship but sadly they did not follow it through.

I also asked over and over again, why Murli felt he had to stay away completely? Why he always assumed that one thing would lead to another? Showing physical affection or being tactile towards your partner doesn't always have to be a prelude to sex. You can have one without the other.
I kept expecting to see a scene where we were shown Murli's inner struggle of wanting to be lose to Bharti, but his fears not allowing him to. But it never materialised, and the only indication was the 9th June epi when he cries into his pillow! But even then I noticed that he only says that he knows she wants to be a MOTHER, but he can't put her in danger, so to speak. He doesn't make any mention of how much he wants her, but feels he has to stay away from her.
In short this whole issue has not been dealt with properly. As usual CV's opened up a can of worms for the drama quotient but didn't have the ability to see it through to a satisfacory end. The 'closure' just isn't good enough. Something more concrete needs to be shown in some way or another. Otherwise, this issue is still left hanging in the air in my opinion
