IPL then coincided w/ the swarnakamal episodes, so reason for low trps could have been anything then.

Since Imagine is one of the least popular channels, a good point of comparison would be Starplus, or Star One vs the S-Max channel that hosts the IPL. If all channels are doing badly, that tells you the story. I think they are, b'cos while I watch a match, during the over break commercials, I switch to the other channels to see what's going on (I don't have Imagine) and then back after a minute or so, to get back to live action.

ramayan did well initially and after ravan was killed off it kind of slowed down
and swarn kamal was the last straw there thats why show ended soon

Actually, I should take that back. IPL is not going to alter the rankings of the shows, and since it's not listed, it won't even move them up or down any notch. So rankings ought to be the same, but last few weeks, all the Imagine shows have sunk. And my original comments about them stand.

Once GkD and BAVD are over, they should just switch to all-reality shows, since they've let down the various audiences of various serials. I'm deliberately not watching Luteri Dulhan despite people recommending b'cos I don't want to be disappointed again. The storyline in BBGC is lame - this is the long term time-slot replacement for RS?

story has to have some appeal in it. and bheend i cant make head or tail out of it

i doubt these two wud stay in long run

and there is ratan ka rishta coming up in june so one of the shows might get the axe.

gkd is still ok baba seems to have lost plot even more

and u can also see from the number of the pages this forum has.

baba had very good concept but they didnt stick to that. and after rupesh death what they wud show remains a question


gkd has story left still so its still watchable

I don't have Imagine TV on my channels - everything I watch is online. One of my friends on RS suggested LD, but I've not seen any episode. BBGC - like I noted here, the very concept turns me off, so I've not been watching that. Looking @ that forum, looks like it hasn't caught on, if there are few there discussing the show.

This forum too has been largely fluff - it started @ the same time as GkD, but whereas GkD has 120 pages, this one has just 40. Granted, GkD has a huge following, but even w/o it, I'd have expected BAVD to be ~ 70 pages by now.

I think Ratan's Rishta will succeed BAVD only - no need to knock the other 2 newer shows. It's not like BAVD has anything going for it. Also, Imagine does a great job letting down shows that are doing well, like Rakt Sambandh. They'd have done well to leave it where it was, and move BAVD to 7:00pm. The point above is that Imagine has lost its viewership due to its betrayal of people of those various shows. If you're watching a certain show on Imagine, and see it get shafted, would you bother watching the replacements?

I agree w/ a lot of people - I hope this channel goes bankrupt and goes off the air. Transfer GkD & KMH2 to another channel.

ya gkd has following and here mayb ppl have not understood and cvs havnt done justice to the show either.
in gkd also ppl left the show in middle bt some r returning back while some r new

basic essence of gunda still remains in gkd.

i dont want to talk abt kmh as i dont watch and from what i watch i dont understand it.
