Favorite character in Mahabharata? - Page 3

My favourite character in the epic is undoubtedly Krishnaa Draupadi/Panchali.

Eventually, ill omens force King Dhritarashtra to intervene and grant Draupadi two boons. She chooses freedom for Yudhisthira and his four brothers (who, incidentally, are also her husbands, as discussed below). That she does not ask for her own freedom reinforces her position that she has never lost it. In this whole sorry episode she proves her strength, initiative, virtue, and superior understanding of morality.

And a comment in the post:

I was told that she was married to the Pandavas as no one man could have all the characters that she asked for in her boon. i found that very ironic that while she is the perfect woman with all the characteristics, the opposite gender is inherently flawed in some way or another.

After her, others like Krishna, Bhima are favourites.

No no

The TM is asking if I would like to change anything in their character, I don't want to change anything in anyone except changing what Duryodhana did with Draupadi

Why Duryodhana? I mean each to his own, and I'm asking only out of curiosity.

Two reasons -

1 The only character I like is Draupadi, I don't want to change anything she did

2 The only character I dislike is Yudhi and I see Duryodhana as a direct competition to him, so I want to change that event which led to war and Duryodhana losing his ownership on Pandavas so he could be King, he would have been better than that gambler IMO

^^^ I would definitely prefer Duryodhan over Yudhishtir.
