He did. I have quoted that in Page 98.

Actually when I first watched BRC Krishna-Karna Sambad 10 years ago, I was intrigued, searched the web and read the epic Krishna-Karna Sambad.

BRC showed such an aggressive war mongering version of Draupadi, it saddens me.

She was not bloodthirsty.

And this TV serials always portray as if the war was fought for avenging Draupadi's humiliation, when in reality, the war was a fight for land. Period.

Precisely so! BRC is badly responsible for reducing Draupadi to a bloodthirsty woman.

Draupadi's humiliation was a cause of Kurukshetra war. Her birth was for the destruction of Kurus.

She along with Shri Krishna is considered as the real force behind Kurukshetra War/Bhubharharana.

Though she was not bloodthirsty she actually said in the epic "My children will avenge my humiliation led by Abhimanyu if my husbands do not."

Did Pandava's use her humiliation as a trump card against Kauravas?

That's not justified. The one who does wrong is to be blamed, not the one who was wronged.

However, had the humiliation not have occurred, even then war would take place because it is a war for the establishment of dharma, considering all divine elements.

How is it fair to blame Draupadi and her humiliation for a war whose seeds were sown long ago, Kauravas did enough to harm YBANS even before Draupadi's birth.

The humiliation was only a catalyst.

Exactly! Draupadi's humiliation was not the cause but only one of the many evidences that proved that things had turned worst in HP. If a woman from the royal family could be so openly humiliated in front of all the royal scions and by the scions themselves, who was safe in this kingdom. That is why Lord Krishna said that HP would have to pay the price because it silently watched the adharma prevail and so, it became a party to adharma or anyaya. If you don't speak up against the wrong action, it means you are supporting it. If you don't speak up for the right thing, it means you are in opposition of it.

It is not a revenge story. It is a story of establishing dharma, dharma-sansthapana. It is a story of finishing anyay and establishing a just society.

I am sorry. I did not mean it that way.

What I meant was that Draupadi wanted to punish the Kurus. And she used all her resources for that.

There is nothing wrong in it. A system that can not respect even an empress needs to be rooted out so that a better system can be established.

Yeh draupdi ke apman ka bhi Mahabharata tha.

In gambling kreeda after humiliation of draupdi bhishm wow to kill dussasan and duryodhan and sehdev wow to kill shakuni

Fight for rights is one reason for Mahabharata and draupdi humiliation is another reason for Mahabharata

I'm glad someone pointed this out. Draupadi was much more than a bloodthirsty woman who demanded war. In fact, she was an amalgams of many different qualities and emotions. She had her peaceful/sweet/shy moments too, which are hardly ever explored.
