are u saving it in PSP or Animation shop? Cuz animation shop does that to pics...it has to do with the optimization wizard...make sure that the bar in the optimization shop window is all the way to the top. That should help a lil bit...you can try to make the sig smaller too

im just using psp not animation shop....

than that shouldn't happen...wht you can do it save as .png or .tif instead of a jpeg and see if that helps your resolution.

just flood fill a layer with a pattern and turn the opacity low.
