When u click on the box that has all the colors in it (in your materails pallete) it will open up a window where u see all the colors and stuff....now look towards the top it should say Color, Gradient, Pattern....just click on the tab that says Gradient and it should come up...you can change the gradient just like you change colors..

same way you add a bkground color in Photoshop...go to your fill bucket tool and choose your color from the materials pallate and click on your image to flood fill it with color.

hi,

to import custom brushes i have done: file-->custom brushes--> open-->add all-->ok

after i have done that it takes like few minutes then a window appears it says the files are already there and it needs to duplicate it something like that. is this an error ?
does any1 get this type of window 🤢 ?

yes this happens sometimes...your brushes are already in there but they dont show up. Wht you can do is go to your brushes folder and drag each brush into psp...it will open up as an image on a white bkground. Then click on file>>export>>custom brush>>and a window should pop up asking you to enter a name and description for your brush. Add a DIFFERENT name then the brush already has (like if your brush was called flower, name it something else like flower1). Click ok and your brush should be created.

If this doesn't work>>>>

Open your brush just like b4 and click on your brush tool>>click on the menu so you can see all the brushes you have>>>then somewhere in that screen you should see a little box/icon that says "create brush from selection">>>click that and enter in all the name description etc...(DON'T GIVE IT THE SAME NAME!).>>>Click ok. Your brush should apear in your brushes menu now.

Can some give me links to some good brushes for PSP 7, the links Khushi di provided don't work for me

as far as i know sneha, for psp 7, google it around a lot.. there isn't a particular site which has really good brushes 😳

The layers are transparent so when u open a new raster layer it will be on top of your already present pic/image...but since it is transparent you will see your pic/image from underneathe...so....i mean

ok if you have an image open, and it is the "background" and you create a new raster layer...no the background image still is the background but the new raster layer is on top of it...

If this doesn't help maybe you can provide some more details?

It helps... Thanks!! The only thing im still a lil confused abt it that wen i minimize the background image, how cum the layer also gets minimized???😕

www.celestial-star.net has some gud brushes for psp and ps.😊
