For those asking on how to download HD YT videos, do use the keepvid website. It lets you download or keep any HD or any video from YT.

I actually download directly from YT(excluding videos from T series/YRF/Sony). I use Opera web browser and I use this extension called "Youtube Downloader". Infact in Opera browser u can also use "FVD downloader" extension and download from YT.

I tried YTD downloader and for good qualities vids it showed Failed

so I decided looking on web and came across a site to download it directly using a link only. That gave really bad gifs though the vid quality was perfect.

I used Youtube Downloader but it never worked well.. and for almost 5 years, I am using aTube Catcher. and it's perfect.. but it only allows you to download from Youtube and nowhere else.. but thats enough for me.

Same happened with me... I downloaded that program and it worked well for some time and then I couldn't download anything and it always showed failed... atube catcher is a great help.. for me.. you can also record screen & audio.. and convert your videos/songs... amazing..

@Naz and @CRJ - Weird cos it works for me. 😕😆 Infact I have been downloading all my HD videos from YT this way. 😳 If any videos is restricted, then I use the keepvid. Which helps to download it perfectly. I prefer using extensions cos I don want to download any software in my laptop. 😳

I use Ummy Video Downloader. It's pretty good and easy. Can downld any video of YT from using any browser. It works only for YT videos.
