Heck! I was literally crying yesterday over this with a new CS5 I downloaded. But Shruti di told me that CS6 doesn't have this problem.
But if CS6 is also a tyrant then I'm happy with CS1.😳

This is achieved in two ways: Gradient or Mask.

You make your avis and bring both into that document which has the texture bycopy-pasting frames.
Make the texture invisible by closing the eye.
Adjust the avis over one another and then you mask/gradient hide those parts so that both the gifs look merged.
Always keep a black BG when doing such gifs.
Then bring a texture right above all this, make it visible of course and either erase or mask(better option) that portion which is hiding the gifs.
Even this out so that all looks well merged.

At the reply u gave above to saloni, but how do u mask the background of the gifs..as in there is a lot of movement of his head in the gif so u can't mask the whole group of his gif altogether, isn't it..then how did u mask his background?😕
