also, not technically a question, but can anyone give me tips to write attractive text on siggies? I am getting the knack of blending pics just fine but when it's all done and I've put on coloring and texture and it comes to text, I totally screw it all up! I know what to write but the style of it is so...BLEH that I usually keep the siggy textless. Any help would be welcome 😆

For the dreamy effect; it's the motion blur. So, you basically follow these steps:

Step 1: Make your sig, add colouring and everything to it. Once you're done, save it.

Step 2: Open the made sig so it'll come as just ONE layer (which will be the background layer)

Step 3: If it's locked, then you right click on it and click on where it says "Layer from Background" then it should unlock.

Step 4: Then right click on that very layer and click on "Duplicate Layer."

Step 5: Select the duplicated layer and click on filters on top and click on Blur>Motion Blur.

Step 6: Now, you'll see that your entire sig is blur, right? Set the opacity of this layer to say 50% so you can see the other layer through it.

Step 6: Take the eraser and erase out the faces and parts you want.

Step 7: Make sure you set your opacity back to 100% of the top layer once you're done.


AND YOU should be done then! 😃


For text, I choose two things which are as below:

First, your font should be something that goes with the sig. Then, you can do two things to those texts:

Step 1: Write your text.

Step 2: Right click on the text layer and click on "Blending Options" and this whole box opens up.

Step 3: Choose whatever you think goes with your text. I usually choose "Outer Glow" AND "Drop Shadow" and it does wonders to my text.
