^Those are the textures. You can search for "Bokeh textures" on DA or even google and look for the ones that look best.

Then, once you're done with the blending and everything, place it over your signature and either "screen" or "lighten" it and place it over. It looks amazing then. I'll help you more if you still don't get it. I can PM you some textures, if you can't decide. Lemme know.

I have to do this project in school with a friend&there has to be a picture of us together but we don't have anything to to take a picture with so she found a picture of her&her friend and said we could replace her friend's face with mine but we don't know how to do that in photoshop. can someone explain it?
