Helooooooo!!!

Ok so this is my first ever post as my first ever tutorial so please mind mistakes as such, I hope you guys like it! 😃

Step 1: Create a new layer

Step 2: use the rectangular marquee tool and select the whole image

Step 3: once selected, fill the image with a grey colour. the code is 948e9d, once full go to your ayer pallete and change the mode to darken.

Step 4: now go to layer >> new adjustment layer >> Hue and Saturation
These are the levels you are going to need:

Hue : -18
Saturation : -95
Lightness : -1

step 5: Create a new layer

Step 6: use the same marquee tool again and select the whole image

Step 7: once selected, fill with a purple color. the code is: 39205a and go to your layer pallete and change the mode to Lighten.

Feel free to experiment with different colours for a different end result, such as instead of using purple you could use Red

@curledup: Yh wen i posted my comment.. saw those editted results!!! =) I tried... bt the purple thingy was more grayish in mine... not much like urz! :S kyun??? 😔 nd... can we select sum part of the pic/sig 2 colour it up like dat??? Just in case.... 😊...

@-_AfridiMalik_-: hmm lemme double check and see if the purple is the right colour code :D it might be that, but are you using the action or following the tut?

and your other question, yeah course you can!, I think it will make it look like a contrast so it will look nicer, I made a sig using this technique and it came out better than I expected, so you could try if any reassurance would you like to see my sig?
