If Sia really cared for Aastha she would inform her parents of her lies and try to bring things out in the open so her family can resolve things TOGETHER and heal.

But no, from Sia's actions, it looks to me that subconsiously she is letting Aastha get deeper into trouble and alienating her more from her family.

Sia needs to examine her real motives and priorities - maybe she just likes to be the 'good one' in the family. If Aastha become good then no one will pay Sia any special attention....

What do you think?

I agree with wawahehe, Sia is not deliberatly against Ashta. She is by nature being protective towards Simran and Astha. This may result in more harm than good. But in Inida heart rules over head. People always try to be more emotional than practical and that is why we see such situations. If Sia had exposed Astha than she would have been taunted for being jealous and irresponsible. It is a no win situation in any case.

From what I hear between brothers and sisters, a lot of protecting, a lot of hiding of things is done, so parents are not hurt... the same may be the case here. I know what Astha is doing is dangerous, but I guess Sia is trying not hurt the parents and knock some sense into Astha.
Astha can always express her anger in a different manner, but if someone supports you in the hour when parents need to be, then this is how things turn out.
Sia is also young and is thinking that she can make things better and this is one of teaching her that she cannot take such matters into her hands, and needs to have elders take care of these things.

I agree with you vaaz, but Sia does not to come out of her fairy world, and get real.I actually have a step-sister:we behave normally with each other, not to angelic but not mean and cruel either. Our parents have tought us to respect people. With a sister like aastha, sia needs to shape-up quicky and inform simran.

If sia really cares about aastha, she shouldnt let aastha ruin her life under kirans influence right infront of sias nose!Sia should deffinitly tell, this is not something to hide about.Aastha hasnt comitted an accident with a car,or snuck out with some guy,she has been trying to ruin simran and her life with kiran.

So true Raheela!

Sia should inform her parents to deal with such diificult situation. Probably after solving Divya and Victor's murder case her moral has gone up 😉

She cares for Astha in her own way. She wants to help but her approach is incorrect. I do not doubt her intentions but I suspect her brilliance. 😕

😆

It often happens in real life, but older siblings should take this stand only when they are close to eachother and be mutual confidants.

Not in these circumstances.
