Good comedies, (gol maal, angoor,Chasme Badhoor, Andaz apna apna, Padosan, type),Romantic movies (Kabhi Kabhie,Lamhe,actually almost all of Yash Chopra movies),

No genre really,any well made movie. (Zubeida,Lakshya,Dil Chaahta hai)

In English movies I am a little selective. I don't like action movies.

I am a very hopeful romantic....I hope the romance in our marriage never wears out😳.

I don't think romance is just about candle light dinner.Even if my husband came home early from work and surprised me,I would say it was romantic.When travelling,if he calls me from overseas in the middle of the night saying he can't sleep,it would be awfully romantic. That's me!

how has being in HKG developed you? describe any experiences (altho i know u have talked abt this sort of stuff already, but see if u can write any more)

Like I have already said living in HKG has made me more independant. I have made some friends for life who are like family.This happens to all those who reside outside their home country. Learnt to count my blessings.Overall the influence has been positive.

What made you think my wedding day was one of the best days? Do you think girls cry just like that during Bidaai?

And birth of my son? You would know if men had to give birth?😉

On a serious note,honestly I did not cry at all on my wedding day.My husband and his family kept us in splits and before I knew we had left the venue.

There have been good and bad days...the best is yet to come.....maybe tomorrow😉

It has gotten me some very good friends(life time I hope). Besides Sree's updates,I was part of Security 😆 Duty thi meri.

How can I say time pass? It has become a habit,albeit not such a good one according to my hubby.

Not anything as such but I think I came across as a mature and a very serious person.I would have been happy to answer some funny questions.I do laugh a lot and can make people laugh. I can never ridicule anyone or don't get too personal but jokes are fine. I'm not complaining ok? just answering your question.

This is what I wrote for him.I made a collage of his childhood pics.My gift for him.Just thought I would share with my forum friends.
Bye, Best Wishes to all of you.Someone asked me his name...here you go......


On 27th January 1988, we had this baby boy
Who brought us much happiness and joy
We named him Gaurav, which means honor,
Prayed that he be blessed with wisdom and valor

The first year saw him sit and crawl
Only when hungry did he bawl
Weaning, teething was no big deal
Without any fuss devoured every meal.

The twos and threes were not so terrible
And fours and fives were also bearable
As he learnt to read and write
His future looked good and bright

The sixes and oh the sevens
We looked towards heaven
Often wondered what had happened to our angel
Or was he just too much to handle

At eight, nine and ten, we saw a champion
Tennis, squash, swimming and badminton
When like an athlete he would run
Dad looked on with pride and satisfaction

Eleven, twelve and finally thirteen
Ended all that seemed quiet and serene
Pizzas and burgers, TV and video games
E-mails and chatting using weird usernames

The most crucial years of the teens
Fourteen, fifteen and sweet sixteen
Saw trousers we thought would almost fall
Hair so long and styles that could appall

At seventeen, the excitement that eighteen would be next
Had everyone but him worried and vexed
SATS and Universities was all we cared
The thought of him leaving us had us scared

But today on his eighteenth birthday
We muster enough courage to say
" Fly away from our cozy nest
Son, go out and do your best"

We trust that you will do us proud
With blessings from us and of course, God
Hope you will live true to your name
Bring us honor and maybe even fame.

May good health and good thoughts be always with you
As you tread along paths that are strange and new
Shall have another celebration at twenty one
And proudly say, " Yes, that's our son!"
