Sakshi walks out of defunct marriage

Today'e episode, Sakshi calls her husband and tells him that she is not coming back to US because Nakul was rude to Dr Simran.

All the reasons she gave to Simran for her broken marriage were more than enough to walk out of her marriage. I'm not against her for breaking her already broken marriage, but the reason that since her husband was rude to Dr Simran, she has lost repect for him is annoying.

To see from Nakul's perspective, he did the right thing (given he is short tempered) to save his marriage and to bring his wife back to their home. If Sakshi would have told the real cause of her staying back in India, Nakul could correct his mistake.

What if Nakul apologizes to Dr Simran for his rude talk, will Sakshi go back to USA for that's the reason she gave 😕

Yes, I wonder what will happen if Nakul in fact does apologize. Maybe both will soften down at that stage and on mature thinking may infact decide to give their marriage a try. Hope so anyway.

Good discussion. I don't think Nakul will ever Say sorry for what he did. Forget saying sorry to Dr Simran, he will not even do that to his wife. He owes her more.

I think that was the last straw Sakshi could deal with. So she must have said, that is it. Not just because he was rude to her.

How does it sound, when a spouse calls wife's work place or boss and yells at her for what is lacking in their relationship. How can you deal with so much inconsistency. He should realize that their relationship was week because they did not have a good understanding. It was always sakshi's dream to work in India. Inspite of her dream, she stayed with Nakul for years. I think she made a mistake marrying him.

Also, Dr Simran has been her idol and that matters.

I agree it was a mistake to marry nakul in the first place..But I guess she was in love or so she thought at that time and hence married him. The thing is, one does not often get to see the other side of an individual until they start living with each other and that too over a period of time..

Nakul calling up and being rude to a third person for the trouble in his own marriage is atrocious !!! If that is what happened, this guy needs serious help.Good God, how can U scream at someone you do not know if ur spouse is not listening to u. No wonder the spouse is not listening 😆

I am not really in favour of anyone walking out of a marriage in the name of a dream, but if the spouse is rude, insulting and loves demeaning the other half, and refuses to reform,it's better to walk out if one can.

The wayu I see it there are 2 issues....

1) the marriage was on the rocks anyway

2) Nakul being rude to dr.simran

....

Ok, doesn't matter how much saakshi says she adores and respects simran, she should not have walked out of the marriage just cos nakul did not respect simran....it's nakuls choice not to, and simran is not a goddess....personally, I don't think one should even then! Simran should not be an equation between the husband and wife...the fact that she is is mainly saakshi's fault and after that, possibly from simran's reaction, simran is a fault...but that is minor....nakul is not at fault on this altho the b*****d bad-mouthed 😡 my India..

Now, about the marriage being on the rocks....i'm still against them going their own way, but at least there are no kids involved .... this is a moot point and we can go on discussing it at least, whereas regarding simran, i must repeat, simran should not be an equation in any marriage....

Whilst writing, I remembered something I have often thought.....simran has always been a hindrance - UNKNOWINGLY - to all the couples there..whether it is manas and urmi, or even abbhi and kiran or even abhi and neha - they have all always reacted negatively to simrans presence....I often wonder whether that is not the reason Manas bailed out and moved country cos otherwise simran would make ria insecure and unknowingly create tension between ria and manas....just a thought....

no offence to the simrani-ites (me being one ofcourse 😉)...equally, I haven't become an anti-simraniite....so please, lets not even bring all that into the equation..😉😆

Well, I also feel that Simran's presence is indeed cursed to all married couples. Simran was also reason of misunderstandings between Kavita and her husband too. Mr Saxena was also on the verge of throwing his wife out of the house for Simran. 😃 Manas sensed this and moved out of her reach before it's too late for him. 😉

Good post as usual, ii. While I agree that Simran was unknowingly a hindrance in the Neha-Abhi marriage i do not think she was a hindrance in either the Urmila-Manas or Kiran-Abhi marriage.. It was Urmila and Kiran who were insecure and it was left to Manas and Abhi to put their insecurities to rest. Urmila was highly insecure but Manas as far as I know did nothing to put her insecurities to rest - rather he gave too much of importance to Simran which put off Urmila. In a way both Urmila and Manas were responsible for their failed marriage though Urmila was certainly not justified in her relationship with Ashwin.. Manas also realized Urmila's insecurities (remember when he went for a conference with Simran to Singapore and he had flashbacks of his honeymoon with Urmila?) but it was too late at that point..As for Kiran-Abhi, I think it ws Kiran who interfered in the Simran-Abhi marriage and later on Abhi felt way too guilty about leaving Simran and was always pining over Simran, as a result of which Kiran felt insecure. A vicious chain of events. In that way I feel Abhi was the only one who respected the Manas-Simran friendship and was very broadminded about their friendship and knew all he way through that what Simran and Manas shared was nothing but platonic. Had Urmila not been so insecure, she too would have realized it and Manas of course should have helped dispel that insecurity which Urmila had.

oooohhhhhhhhhh - a bit harsh there chikoo....i wasn't watching astitva when the kavita story was ongoing, so don't know....

However....

u choose mrs. saxena over simran chikoo? oh come on!😭 That lady was the very personification of all the worst mother-in-laws in the world! Simran handled all that very very well indeed....simran can't be blamed at all there...pls see my next post...
