Hi ii

great answers...
here are a few more....

How would u like the story to progress now in astitva? (sorry if this has been asked already)

LOL. I would actually like them to end it soon.. Of course I would like them to tie the loose ends like Manas and I would also like to know that Aastha is alive. Sigh.. I know I am not being "real" here but hey, we are all watching reel stuff so why not wish for something good and what they show on screen so often anyway..

If u were to appear in astitva, then who would u be? and who would u like to be....

You know I can't really relate to most of the characters in Astitva anymore.. I think a somewhat realistic character was Anandi and who I really liked..Of course I would not like to meet the fate that she met..Too tragic..

Same with your husband...who would he be and is there anyone else u'd like him to be...

Other than Manas (of course before Rhea entered his life), I did not find any of the male characters really that admirable or real..So, as far as Astitva is concerned, I can't think of anyone else..In fact I really can't think of any male character in any show (not the actor but the character), whom I think I would want my husband to be like or that he would want to be..Yes, maybe Kushan of RINH is quite sensible and decent. The closest I guess would be him..

tell us something special and wonderful about your husband.... 😊
likewise tell us something about mu that he thinks is wonderful and special.... 😊

Well, he is sensitive and caring and that's what I really appreciate about him.. I guess that's what initially attracted me towards him! Another thing I liked about him when I first got to know him was that he was not blatant in his approach.. I have seen some guys who are over lavish with their praises pretty much from the start. To me that does not seem natural. It was not so with him and if anything I actually found him quite undemonstrative to start with, LOL (of course he opened up later) . In a strange way that attracted me even more about him as he did not appear to be a flirtatious or trying-to-woo kinds. He was genuine and that's what I liked. Another thing is he also often goes out of the way to see that my needs are taken care of before he leaves town to go some other place for some conferences or tour..

What he likes about me I guess is my spontaneity with him and my openness.. I guess I rarely am able to hide my feelings, even if it is displeasure.. ! :-)

are there any viewpoints and particular posters that u are facinated with in this astitva forum...r u able to say, perhaps give names... 😆

I have liked quite a few posts on this forum..Initially what attracted me to this forum was Sree's updates and you know what, one of the first posts I read (besides the updates) was yours - it was an in depth analysis of Simran's character. I have to say that I liked it a lot because it had a very impartial tone to it. A very dispassionate analysis of her character, indeed. I will try to look for it and send the link to you. After that I became quite active in the forum and I have liked many people's writings here but that was one of the first detailed posts that I saw on this forum..

please answer only whatever is within your comfort zone...i wont feel offended if u don't answer something... 😉

Don't worry.. None of them were off my comfort zone..:-)

cheers

here are more...I think, your answers were too good.

Thank you:-)!

What is your star sign?

I am a Leo:-)

Do you beleive in astrology?

Yes, to some extent though I do not let it rule my life. I have read Linda Goodman's Sun Signs..Have you read it? I found it quite interesting.

What is the first thing you do when you get to your work? (other than checking your office email)...

Well, I check my office email, check out a few of these forums (unless I am really busy), go get breakfast (which I end up having at my desk:-)) and then work seriously with maybe a break like going to the Vending machine and getting a cup of coffee (which I again have at my desk anyway, I am always afraid that users may call with some emergency production problems!!)

What was the most precious moment of your life?

Undoubtedly my daughter's Birth:-) Followed by my graduation days (both undergrad and Masters')

Wow...i like Leos! No wonder your thoughts and attitudes are so compatible with the others. I am saying this coz i am a leo also...hehehe. read earlier that u love 'Masoom' and you like reading so i have to ask this one question: Have you read "Man, Woman, and Child" by Erich Segal? That is the book the movie is based on...just FYI. I liked the book just as much as the movie so i thought to ask.

cheers!

Hmmm, that can get quite tricky:-)! If we are talking about getting married to a person who I don't approve of - well, that could be really a tricky situation. I don't think I would put my foot down and say no straightaway and be unreasonable but I would probably tell her I need sometime and maybe try and get to know him better and try to look at him disapssionately.. If I am finally convinced that he would be good for her, I would agree as I would not want to hamper her happiness if I can help it. Of course I really have not given much thought to it since she is only six. If we are talking about any other situation, it really depends. If I believe that something that she would do would be harmful for her or not good for her, then I would talk to her and reason it out with her..

Did you have a particular situation in mind? Maybe I will be able to answer better if I knew what the situation was..

So, you are a Leo too!! That's nice.. Are you a typical one?

I don't know that everyone out here finds me compatible!:-) I would like to hope that they do but of course I would not know for sure..

I have not read 'Man, Woman and Child', though I would like to. I have heard that Masoom is based on that story but I really did not get down to reading it. I have heard the ending there is quite different though.. In what way is it different? Does the wife accept the boy finally in the book? I have heard she does not (Not sure though). Also, is the rest of the story exactly the same? Which other Erich Segal book would you recommend?

😆 Actually this is what i was thinking about, but i didn't know how to write it, as your kid is still very young and i didn't wanna shock you with such a question..

OK, I asked Nisha this question, and I'll as you as well.. What would you do if you meet Simran? 😉

Yes, I liked it too..That's what increased my interest in Astrology! I agree about the Sixth Sense too..

Your daughter is a Leo!! Wow! An August one? One of my closest friends in school was Aries.. They are certainly compatible:-)!

Yup, i am a typical leo 😊. I think people on IF (at least) find you compatible...and it is probably a result of your patience and diplomacy which i have to give you kudos for!

"Man, Woman, and Child" is different in the sense that the wife finally does accept the child, but the child was brought up to be very independent by his mother and he requests to go back to France. Basically, comparing it to Masoom, in the end when the father says 'bye' to his son, its the end of the story. Most of the story is the same, there are some differences which are quite expected as a result of cultural differences. I would recommend "Acts of Faith", "Doctors", "Prizes" by him. Awesome books. And of course "Love Story" and its sequel are both popular - but i dont like them as much as the others.
