Maybe the age gap.. or maybe ML's character. . I feel a bit uncomfortable imagining them kissing. Its like.. for the ML to divorce his wife and then get involved with a girl half his age.. its something which somehow doesn't go with his character. . I don't know how to explain it.. but it just doesn't feel like something he would do... do u guys understand wht i m trying to say? I m unable to articulate it properly..

For me, to see them exchanging the looks like they understand each other , being there for each other when they are in need, caring for each other etc... in a way that's a bit more than just friends. .but a little less thn lovers .. is much more endearing. I don't know wht this kind of relationship is called though :P but thts wht i see them as.

Yeah I was being serious too! Should we actually commit to a FF or just write canons? Like small bits of story. Like a paragraph or two each.

In my view..The drama truly portrayed platonic love!!! He never ever saw her as a woman..Its purely friendship..She of course had a crush on him seeing his good and helping nature!!! Which later on turned to dedication!!!

And on age difference, I remember how many were against this pair when the cast was announced..And the makers explained there is no romantic relationship between them..

But once drama started many wished for it!!! 😆

On his wife..I think they got divorced and she went to take care of her son abroad!!! They might announce it to him once he is grown up and at understandable age!!!

I think the ending were they stare at each other and walk away..Meant now that they are in same city they could continue the friendship..And he was more happy she got more friends on her age group too!!!

But given he ended up lonely..(That heartbreaking crying scene) I think he needed her as a friend..Definitely not a lover!!! He was very firm in it..Even when their brothers tease and her feelings for him

I remember one old Tamil movie I watched in TV long back..There hero is a middle age guy with his son who got married recently..Heroine a divorcee..Both middlle class/poor!!! They share friendly platonic relationship..His DIL and other speak badly about them..So his son and heroine decides to shut the rumors..And thought they both need companionship so let them marry..But hero actually adopts her in the end when all thought he will marry her..

Here,,He may not adopt her given he is not that old..But more like a friend/sister..He saw her!!! And be there for her..So does she as she too accepted there wont be any romantic relationship!!!

Honestly, as the show moved further ahead I thought they were best as platonic... but then I kinda shipped them too because they were the main leads of the show. And they were very good for each other too!
I don't know. I've never been too sure about their relationship either. Their open ending kinda makes sense too. I guess its up to us to decide... or "fantasize" at that 😆

Tris..I felt the same..😆 The to and fro shipping..But in the end..I went with the platonic relationship..I just couldn't imagine them in a romantic one!!! May be down the line..He saw one in his age and she started dating of her age group guy!!! And their friendship kept continuing!!!

So Girls, I tried the "fanfic" Shaz shared! ... And N-O .. as couple they didn't work for me! ... TFS the fanfic Shaz, I think I am sold on the "platonic" stand! ..

@Poobear ... You're right .. he always looked after her in a "protective" manner .. trying to help her out in his own way every time! ... I am sure he would have done it for anyone else as well ... they do have a "weird kind of chemistry" ... but I am OK-ay "not naming" their chemistry! .. If pushed, I may call it "soul mate chemistry" where there's no sexual tension at all ... ONLY "unconditional deep emotional care and understanding"! .. [Which Tamil was it if you recall?!]

Shaz and Tris .. GL for the fanfic .. I am no where a writer so :curtsy and slowly backing off: ... 🤣

Omo omo you were a part of IB forum?? 😲😲 I was a part if it too! Now that i think.. i vaguely remember the UN "Trissy" .. but I left the forum after an year ... i watched till Dil bole oberoi ended.. after that when remerging happened I quit the show. It became bizarre 😆😆

There were some good canon writing in IB forum! Okay lets try doing it although I m not aure of my skills 🤣 Poo and Sam.. plz join us.. it will be fun I guess!

So should we make a separate thread or here only?
