They all left after packing their stuff that they need for their mission, and they said their byes to arshi and sajan. In the mini bus, Shree noticed that Chotu didn’t say a word for a while

Sh: Chotu, are you ok? You are so silent

Ch: no, I am not fine, we are going to a haunted place, how can I be fine?Sh: arre yaar, don’t worry, no bhoot is going to scare you

Ch: really? Why?

Sh: because of your appearance will scare them

Ch: hahaha, very funny

R: Shree, stop making fun of Chotu, your friend is scared and you are making fun of him

Sameer looked at Arjun annoyed knowing what he was implying at and said: No, there is notA: see, there is absolutely no such thing but I do remember someone telling me that he saw a ghost in the class room but it was the night school teacher who was looking for a pen that rolled under the desk and her hair was not tied up so when he saw her, he screamed and ran for his life

Ay: really sir?

A: isn’t that right Sameer?

Sameer just grumbled and ignored him

Ayesha was trying not to laugh because she already saw Sameer being scared in the store room when she was looking for suspect list for Arshi`s case, while Sameer was hoping that Ayesha doesn’t remember it

Sa: there is no such thing as ghosts

L: I thougth that you believed in it

Sa: no, because there are lost souls

Sid: lost souls?Sa: yes, aatma

Sh: you are talking as if you have seen one (small laugh)

Sa: even if I have seen one, I couldn’t tell you

Shree gulped

Ay: Sakshi, stop scaring Shree

Sa: ok, but it`s the truth anyways (she shrugged her shoulders)

A: so, Rathor, what is the plan?

S: we are going as tourists and spend the night there

A: that`s the big plan? Wow I am so impressed (saracastic)

S: so you have something better?

A: just don’t get scared

Ay: but sir, we don’t have a tent or any supplies

Sid: actually Arnav gave his camping supplies for the mission

L: wait, does this mean we have to stay awake the whole night?

S: any problem, Liza?

L: no, sir, why would I have a problem? (In her mind I didn’t even sleep in the afternoon, how will I manage not sleeping?)

Man: sir, look there is dhaba upfront; we can get some food and drinks

Sa: I think we should keep on driving, there must be a better eatery further away, Gunjan di and Khushi di already packed sandwiches for us

R: I agree, we should try a better place

S: this is the dhaba where the tourists stop for food and drinks. We need to get some information about the place where we are going, we can eat the sandwiches in the morning

R: Sakshi, there is no other option. It`s work

Sa: ok. Work is work; I just don’t get a good vibe from this place

Sid: well, we can`t choose our investigation places

A: so, everyone, act like it`s your first time here

V (to Arjun): Arjun, I know that Riya is pretty but try to concentrate on the mission (whispered)

Arjun cleared his troath and said: let`s start then

They parked the mini bus and got out but Sakshi didn’t leave the bus

R: Sakshi, are you ok?

Sa: just feeling carsick

Ch: maybe you have indigestion, it happens to me everytime. Liza, do you have some tablets for it?

L: oh, here (gave the tablets to Sakshi). It’s a good thing I thought of buying some medicine for headaches and other stuffs

R: I will go buy water

Sa: I have water here with me, M gave it to me, I will be fine. I will stay here

Sid: I will stay here with her, you guys go ahead

R: but…..

Ay: Siddie is here nah, come let`s go

R: ok but if you don’t feel well, tell me ok

?Sa: ok, Ri (in her mind: this place gives me the creeps, lagta something is very wrong here. This is the first time that this has happened to me, M had warned me about this)

Sam: we are like humans now and we feel less pain when we take medicine but the pain inside comes out when we cry, and I mean the outburst of cry of feeling helpless and not able to tell our emotions to our dearest

Sam: you will find out when you will need someone to rely on and the person will be there with you

Sa: ok, I will have to go now, Rahtor sir is waiting for me

Sam: here is water (he handed over backpack with water and don’t eat the food or have drinks of the dhaba. You will get dizzy from it

Sa: and the others?Sam: they are humans; they won’t feel anything but you are a guardian and a pure one and when you eat food from shady places, you are bound to get sick, and I also put some biscuits in it so eat that. Now give me a hug and go

Riya was worried for SAkshi, but she had to concentrate on the case, so she tried to focus on the conversation

SAmeer was having with the dhaba owner

Dh ow: sir, you are here for traveling?

S: yes, me and my friends are traveling for adventure

Dh ow: then you are at the right place, here is a real adventure

S: so many people come here?

Dh ow: ji, sirji. Many come to find bhoot (ghosts) but when they see her, they run and never come back

Dh ow: ek baar I saw her wandering around in the jungle while I was taking a shortcut to go home to my village, thank god that she didn’t see me otherwise I would have died, I was so scared

A little boy about ten or twelve year was serving Virat tea

V: little boy, did you see anything weird going on around here?

Sur: hmm (thinking hard) oh every week a big truck passes here but they don’t stop for food

Arjun noticed that Riya was writing but looked sad so he took her to the parking lot

A: Riya, what`s wrong

R: maybe because of the long ride

A: did she take medicine? (Riya nodded) then she will be fine after some rest

R: I know but I feel sad when I heard that she was sick

Arjun hugged Riya and said: Riya, don’t worry, she will be fine

Riya looked at Arjun and asked: sachi?

Virat cleared his throat

They got shocked and moved out of the hug

V: sorry to interrupt your romance but Sameer is looking for you Arjun

A: let`s go

Virat winked at Riya and went with Arjun; Riya feeling a little shy went a little later after calming herself down

Scene shifts to Sidaskhi

Sid: Sakshi, you feeling ok?

Sa: hmm, a little bit

Sid: you feeling sleepy?

Sa: hmm

Sid sat beside her and said: lean on my shoulder, you will sleep better

Sakshi closed her eyes and leaned her head on his shoulder and she fell asleep in moments

It was getting windy, she moved more towards Sid because she was feeling cold, Sid took his jacket which he had taken in case it got cold at the site, and he put it on her. She smiled in her sleep because she wasn’t feeling cold anymore; Sid kept looking at her until he saw the rest of the team coming

Riya was the first one to arrive at the van

R: how is she feeling?

Sid: fine, she fell asleep a while ago

A: tell her later what we found out, let her sleep longer

Shree shocked while Chotu was speechless

Shree (in his mind): wah, if it was me or Chotu, he would definitely wake us up and give his samjhe ya samjhaun. This is so not fair

R: Sid, you can go and sit behind, I will take care of An…. I mean Sakshi now

Sid didn’t want to go but he knew it was not the time to argue with Riya otherwise it would disturb SAkshi`s sleep

After everyone arrived, they left to go the location. They arrived at the place; it was already dark, so the boys set up the tent while the girls minus Sakshi were getting the stuff out the bus, Shree and Manvi checked the place for listening devices or cameras, but there weren’t any so the place was secure. They let Sakshi sleep in the bus otherwise it would disturb her sleep

After a while SAkshi woke up and saw that she was in the mini bus, it had gotten darker, she got out and went to the rest of the team, and they were getting ready for dinner

Ay: Sakshi, you are awake? Come and sit here (next to her was empty)Sakshi sat down beside Ayesha

Sid: how are you feeling now?Sa: I am fine now, I needed that rest

R: here, let me feel your temperature (Riya touched Sakshi`s forehead) no fever now but you need to be careful of the cold

L: I heard the temperature drops a lot at night

V: I don’t think that will be problem; she is already wearing a jacket

Sa: whose is it? So comfy

Ay: it`s Siddie`s favorite jacket, he never shares it with anyone, not even me

Sa: oh sorry, here (she almost took the jacket of)

Sid: no worries, Sakshi. It`s too cold out here. Its best if you wear it, and by the way Guddi, you have your own jacket stop eyeing mine

Ayesha rolled her eyes and said: biased

Sa: hmm, you said something Ayesha?

Ay: nothing

Manvi was feeling cold but she left her jacket in the car, Virat noticed that Manvi was shivering, he went in the tent, and he brought a blanket and made her wear it. Manvi was going to rebuke him but he just glared at her and went to sit next to Arjun. She just sighed and hugged the blanket tighter

Chotu was getting bored and food was not heated yet so he began to sing: do dil mil rehe hain, magar chupke chupke, haan sabko ho rahi hain khabar chupke chupke

Ariya looked at each other and smiled, Virat looked at Manvi who was looking at the fire, because she knew that Virat was looking at her, Ayesha looked at Sameer, he was looking at the dairy of Riya for clues, he was annoyed at Chotu`s singing, he tried not to look at Ayesha, Shriza was laughing at Chotu`s off tune singing and Sid was looking at Sakshi who was clapping along with Chotu`s singing

S: Chotu, if you are done with singing, let`s talk about the case

A: such a spoil sport Sameer, you know when you go camping singing and telling stories is a must

The members are getting familiar with Arjun`s changed behavior but still have their shock moments like just now, Riya just shook her head, while the others expect for Ayesha, Sakshi and Virat looked in shock and Sameer gave him “ what is wrong with you look”

S: whatever. So team, according to reports and witnesses testimony, they started hearing strange noises at 10 pm and after that a fog appeared, then they heard a female voice and saw a ghost

Ay: so sir, what`s the plan?

S: after we have eaten, we are going to split into groups to investigate before 10 pm

Sh: sir, are you sure? Shouldn’t we stick as a group?

S: we can cover more grounds and be able to solve this quicker, understand?

Sh: yes sir (pouted)

L: sir, the food is already heated, we can start eating

They stared eating the food which they bought from the dhaba, but Sakshi wasn’t eating

R: kya hua, Sakshi? Why aren’t you eating?

Sa: I don’t feel like eating

Ay: are you still feeling sick? Should I call jijju to pick you up?

L: it`s probably because of the long drive to here, it will be better if she eats something light

Sa: M gave me some biscuits to eat, I will manage with it for today

R: when we get back, I will make some porridge for you

Sakshi pouted and said: but I don’t like porridge, it`s too bland

R: I am not asking but informing you, too much food and the long drive made you sick and I don’t want any excuses

Sa: ok, but I am not happy about this (In her mind: I am happy that you care about me, di)

They all ate their food; Riya as the hygienic freak only ate because she was hungry and there wasn’t other option

At 9:30 pm

S: everybody done with eating? So let`s get started. Riya, you and I are going to the forest, Ayesha, you and RAwte and MAnvi go the haunted house and Shree, Liza you stay here with Sakshi, Virat, Sid and Chotu check the area around here, there must be some evidence around. We are using the walkie talkie to communicate with each other, understand?Everyone nodded

Arjun was angry at Sameer because he took Riya with him but he couldn’t say anything because it`s for the case, so he just nodded

They all left except for Shriza and Sakshi

Sh: I hope there is nothing around here

L: oh, Specky, stop scaring your self, be brave. You will have to protect me and Sakshi if something happens

Sa: nothing bad is going to happen, believe me, joh bhi hoga sab acha hi hoga

Meanwhile with Ayesha and Arjun,

they were waiting for Manvi; she was getting her tab and her jacket from the car

A: that coward Sameer, I can`t believe that he took Riya with him

Ay: but sir, it`s a case, we had divide ourselves to investigate

A: I know but it would have been better if SAmeer had taken you with him

Ay: sir, are you fine? I am not even angry at him but why are you angry at Sameer sir?

A: because (in his mind: Riya is my girlfriend and I wanted to be with her) he likes you but he is denying his feeling like a stupid moron

Ayesha just smiled and said: maybe he doesn’t like me, it`s just an attraction for a while. Maybe I am making a big deal out of it, it`s probably one sided, I should tell Sakshi and Virat that I wont force them to help me with Sameer sir

A: Ayesha, you are strong girl and a good officer, stop being so negative, I have known Sameer for more than 10 years, and I know he likes you otherwise he wouldn’t be jealous of Virat

Ay: he is jealous of VIrat? Since when?

A: the day Virat danced with you at commissioner Coelho`s party

Ay: what? Really? (Shocked)

A: ofcourse, I don’t lie

Ay: I didn’t say that you lied sir, but I am just shocked (She smiled) A: why are you smiling? You just said that you are shocked

Manvi came there and they behaved as nothing had happened and they headed for the house

They arrived and saw that the door was locked, the windows were dusty and they couldn’t see inside of the curtains inside

A: Manvi, see if you get a signal here Man: sir, no signal but it looks like someone was here earlier

Ay: footprints leading inside but it doesn’t come outside

A: there is something fishy going on here

Man: why don’t you break the door open, sir?

A: I would but we are undercover, we have to be discreet, we shouldn’t go and break down doors, this is work for Chotu or SAmeer

Ayesha and Manvi laughed at his remark

Ay: sir, there is fog coming this way, we should head back to camp and come back later

A: ok

Manvi saw a shadow between the trees, she rubbed her eyes and it vanished

Ay: choti, let`s go

Man: di, I saw a shadow (She whisperd)

Ay: you are probably hallucinating, let`s go

Scene shifts to Virat, Sid and Chotu

They were using flashlights

Ch: are there wild animals here?

Sid: pata nahi. I haven’t read or heard anything about wild animals around here

V: maybe because they are afraid of the ghost, that’s why they aren’t coming out of their hiding places

Ch: I just hope that the ghost decides not to come today

V: stop being scared, I don’t think it`s a real ghost

Sid: Virat, Chotu, look someone dropped something here

He bend to take it with his handkerchief, it was a payal

Sid: Virat, call Liza, and tell her to bring her kit with her. There is some white substance on it

V: okHe called Liza using the walkie talkie and told her to come where they are

Scene shifts to Riya and Sameer

R: sir, this is really hopeless, it`s getting really difficult to see, the flashlights aren’t even helping much

S: we don’t have other option, we need to go further

Riya got reminded of the first time she and Arjun were in the jungle (CHAPTER 1), at the time they weren’t in a relationship but now they were. She was thinking about it when suddenly fog surrounded them and they heard a voice

The voice: ho a…a…a…a naina bharse, rhimjhim, naina bharse, rhimjhim, rhimjhim, piya tore aawan ki aas naina bharse, rhimjhim rhimjhim (SPECIAL NOTE THIS SONG IS FROM THE MOVIE WOH KAUN THI)

R: sir, did you hear that? (Shocked)

S: no….yes (Scared)

R: let`s run

They both ran from there but Riya ran the other way and Sameer the other

Riya ran until she bumped into ARjun, Arjun was surprised when he felt someone bumping into him but he steadied her, he saw that it was Riya

A: waoh, Riya, why are you running?

Riya looked and saw aRjun, she hugged him really tight

A: Are you ok? (He hugged her back)

R: woh bhoot….. Singing song

A: look at me, you are safe but where is Sameer?R: he ran the other way

She broke the hug but Arjun was still holding her hand

R: where is Ayesha and choti?

A: they are waiting for the fog to clear up, I heard a voice so I came to check but I bumped into you

R: oh

Meanwhile Sameer who was running bumped into Ayesha, she was wearing a neon white jacket and her flashlight was off and Sameer flashlight`s light shined on her face, he fell down thinking that she was a ghost

Ay: Sir? Are you fine?

Sameer opened his eyes and saw Ayesha, he hugged her in reliefS: thank god, it`s just you

Ayesha was shocked that Sameer was hugging her, she didn’t hug him back. After a while he got his senses back and he let go

S: sorry, I just overreacted; don’t tell anyone about me falling down and me hugging you

Ay: ok, sir (She looked down to hide her blush) I won`t

Man: di, what happened? Sameer sir, where is riya di?

Manvi was locating a signal which suddenly appeared but she lost it so she didn’t see what just happen to Samesha

S: oh, I thought that she was behind me

A: she is here with me

Riya was behind Arjun, he was walking infront of her because of the fog

S: oh (relief), Riya, are you ok?

R: I am fine, sir

Arjun `s walkie talkie buzzed, it was Virat

A: yeah, Virat

V: Arjun, Liza is missing (Almost crying)

A: WHAT?
