Its been a year Arjun joined ETF. He has no past with Roshni else same as show no nonsense and workoholic cop. Riya is not part of ETF yet.
Rathod:Officers we have a new joinee today ACP Riya Mukherjee. She will be thrid in command of ETF.
All nods. After sometime a girl wearing blue shirt and black jeans enters. She introduce herself to Rathod and everybody. Shree Chotu Ayesha Sakshi Liza becomes her friends instantly. Riya looks at Arjun and is spell bound by his looks but looks away before he see this. Ayesha shows Riya her cabin. Soon they get a case.
At crime scene
Rathod:Shree victim aur uski family ke call records nikalo..Ayesha Chotu Mahesh (victim) ke bhai Mohan pe nazar rakho apne informers activate karo mujhe shak hai ispe..
Arjun:Riya iss Mahesh ki puri detials nikalo.. kahin kuch to gadbad hai..iski past life ki har choti si choti detail chahiye mujhe..tab tak mai aur Rathod iske office me pata karte hain.
All nods and leaves to do their respective tasks.
At ETF
Arjun calls Riya with details of Mahesh. She comes inside but again gets lost in him.
Arjun:Riyaa..
She looks at him startled.
Arjun:Yahan kaam karne aati ho wahi karo.. pata nahi ACP kisne banaya..kaam ke time idhar udhar khona ho to resign karlo police force se..
Riya(low tone):Khadoos..
Arjun:Kuch kaha
Riya:Nahi..
They both start discussing about details and comes to know Mahesh was addicted to drugs and Mohan was the one who introduced him to world of drugs and when he was unable to repay his money he killed him. Case was solved till evening.
Like this one week pass. Riya's atteraction towards Arjun was increasing day by day. She use to steal glances of him during work or use to smile when their eyes meet or she see him coming.
One day
Shree:Chal Ri lunch time ho gaya..
Riya:Guys tum log jao i am very tired.. abhi 2 report aur tayar karni hai..mai apne cabin me hi lunch kar lungi..
Ayesha:Ok chal thik hai..Liza bhi lab me hai aaj shayad hum chaaro ko hi karna padega lunch.
They goes. While checking her bag she realise she forgot to bring lunch and was tired to go to canteen.
Riya:Damn..
She took out a chocolate from a bag and started munching it happily.
Riya:Iski postmorterm report to hai hi nahi.. Liza se lani padegi..uff.
She takes chocolate with her and was seeing something in her phone that she didnt realised she got collided to Arjun and to prevent herself from falling she keeps her hand on his chest which makes a handprint mark of chocolate on his white shirt. She looks at him horrified while he glared her.
Arjun:Tum dekhke nahi chal sakti..phone ke bajay in ankho ko chalte time use karo..
Riya:Tumhe bhi chalne ke liye pair use karne chahiye na ki superman ki tarah ki kahin bhi tapak gaye..
Both glared at each other and leaves for their respective tasks.
After this day Arjun starts maintaining distance from Riya like she is some virus and he will get infected and she stopped bringing chocolate in office. She noticed he acts same with all female employees. He stay away from everyone. This distance was annoying and irking Riya and she decided she will focus on her work rather than him from now on. She felt like she is forcing herselr on him. She stopped glancing at him or stopped smiling whenever she saw him coming. They used to talk work related only.
Like this one month passed.
One day
Arjun enters ETF and whichever girl sees him on the way get flat on him because he is looking somewhat different from how he looks daily.
They got a case. Nowadays Riya goes with Rathod and comes with him only. During discussion in conference room his eyes was wandering somewhere.
Shree:Kya hua sir kuch chahiye kya.
Arjun:Haan wo sar dukh raha tha to chai chahiye thi.
Riya ignores as if she didnt listened it and continues her work. Chotu orders tea for him.
Riya:(mv):Mere liye isse dur rehna hi behtar hai..phooti kismat thi jo isse pyar hua.. aaj tak kisi ne mujhe ignore nahi kiya aur iski itni himmat Riya Mukherjee ko ignore kare.
Two weeks went like this. Arjun use to glance at Riya while she use to ignore him. Everyone notice this but choose to keep mum as they are wise enough to sort their differences.
One day
Riya was going towards parking when Arjun came and blocked her way.
Arjun:Tum mujhe ignore kyu kar rahi ho?
Riya:Kyu tum koi celebrity ho jo mujhe tumhe attention deni chahiye.
Arjun:Dont try to play with me Riya i can see you are ignoring me i noticed that you dont glance at me or smile at me like you used to do earlier and you even sent file by Shree which is your job.
Riya:You are my boss why you expect me to look at you apart from work and smile at you like you are my crush you are just boss so be that only.
Arjun was about to say something but then stopped not knowing what to say. He was lacking words. Then he left from there.
Next day
Riya entered her cabin and was surprised to see a box of chocolate. She went excitedly and saw a card along with it. It reads
Sorry to upset you but these chocolates are for the sweetest girl ever I met so even if you still angry then feel free to get my dress designed by yourself. It's white again will love to get it brown.
Riya felt him around her and got to know he is watching her. She picked up the box and threw it out of window. Arjun's face fells and he goes to his cabin. He calls Riya to get file of last case signed.
Arjun's cabin
He was going through paperwork when Sakshi enters with box of chocolate which Riya threw out few mins back.
Sakshi:Arjun tum ye chocolates laye the fir phenk kyu di.
Arjun (looks at Riya then Sakshi):Mai kisi aur ke liye laya tha par use pasand nahi ayi.
Sakshi:Koi kaise itni yummy chocolates phenk sakta hai.
Arjun:Pata nahi lekin tum chaho to rakhlo.. agar uske liye ye kuch mayne nahi rakhti to mere liye bhi ye bekar hain.
She took it away happily. Riya got angry seeing this but masked it very well. After sometime she went to her cabin. She started cursing Sakshi.
Riya:Sakshi ko chocolates chahiye thi to khud khareed leti.. Arjun ki layi hui hi chahiye thi use..uska pet kharab ho jaye.. ya chocolates hi pighal jaye..tabiyat kharab ho jaye..kuch bhi ho jaye huh.
She takes her coffee and see it already turned cold and threw it back but she saw Arjun standing there and long coffee mark on his white shirt.
Arjun:Riya I did said I will love to have my shirt turn brown but this way i never expected.
Riya:I am glad I didn't dissppoint you now what makes you come to this not so important officer of yours.
Arjun:Riya i already said sorry isnt it enough.
Riya:Its not the answer of my question.. you are my immediate boss thats why i am repeating otherwise i hate to repeat myself..what make you come here SIR..
Arjun was about to say something but stopped. He started coming closer to her and Riya took step back. Soon she gets collided with table at her back. Arjun picked up a file from the table.
Arjun:Mai ye call records wali file lene aya tha jo tum attach karna bhul gayi thi..and leaves from there.
Riya was standing there in frustration and though to take off for rest of the day but Arjun didnt allowed her. Instead he gave her lot of work than usual. By the time she was leaving it was already 10. Office was empty only Ariya were left.
Riya came in parking when she realised she gave her car for service. She took out the phone to call a cab when out of no where Arjun comes there on his bike.
Arjun:Chalo mai tumhe ghar chod deta hu Riya.
Riya:Thanks but no thanks i can manage myself.
Just then Neha one of Riya's neighbourhood friend came there who works in nearby cafe.
Neha:Riya Adi dada ne bataya ki tujhe der ho gayi office me to socha tujhe leti chalu.. chal aa jana fatafat.
Riya leaves with her and Arjun gets disheartened seeing this.
Next day
It was Sunday so Riya was at home. Aditya is also a police officer but his posting was in Delhi as DCP. Just now he came back from an undercover mission and got leave so he came Mumbai to his family. He is 4 years elder to her.
Riya:Dada chaliye na shopping chalte hain.
Adi:Haan taki tu fir mujhe apne bags pakda de.
Riya makes puppy face and he had to give in.
At mall
They were roaming when Riya noticed Arjun and same time he too saw Riya with Aditya. She immediately turned away from him like she didnt saw him.
Adi:Riya mai tere ye bags leke food court ja raha hu jab tera ho jaye to aa jana wahin.
Riya:Ab dada..aap itne dino baad aye ho please thodi der aur aa jao na mere saath.. waise to mai aapko jaane deti hu sirf aaj.
He sigh and agrees.
Riya:Chaliye aaj aapke liye bhi shopping kare.
Adi got surprised hearing this because usually Riya do shopping for only herself so what made her to be good to him.
Riya(low tone):Are mai papa ke liye kharid rahi hu aap khade raho aur dekhne do it suit or not. (Normal tone) and come on you came for shopping with me it will be rude not to buy anything for you.
Arjun was burning in jealousy seeing and hearing all this and cursing Adi under his breath. Both continued shopping for few more hours making Arjun more angry and jealous.
After sometime Riya and Adi went to food court and Arjun too following them. Adi pulled out a chair for Riya like he usually do.
Riya(sweetly):Thanks sweetheart love you.
Adi(smiles):Love you too my princess.
Riya ordered his fav food which was adding more fuel to the fire. After few mins some boys came and settled at one of the table and started commenting about girls sitting there. And being a police officer Aditya jumped in action before Arjun could make a move and beat them black and blue making Arjun somewhat shocked. They ran away for their life. Arjun's all anger went away seeing this.
Adi came back to the table and Riya saw blood coming out of his hand.
Riya:Oh no your hand is bleeding badly.
She takes out her kerchief and tie it on his hand. Tears were coming from her eyes.
Adi:Oho princess dont cry you know na i cant see any injustice happening before my eyes.
Riya(nods):I know..you are like this only from childhood.
Aditya hugs Riya to calm her down. Arjun gets more shocked knowing they know each other from childhood. Not able to take it more he leaves from there.
Next day
Arjun's mood was off and all the employees were prey of his anger and frustration except Riya. No one dared to step in his cabin unless needed. She is already angry on him he cannot make her more upset.
At lunch break
Arjun barges into Riya's cabin.
Arjun:Riya if you already had a boyfriend then why you pretended to be having interest in me.
Riya:When i pretended to be having interest in you and even if i have a bf how you got to know you were stalking me god i cant imagine you can do this...sir..
Arjun:Don't play with me I seen you looking at me more then required trying to get my attention smiling at me and even trying to come to me with other excuse.
Riya:Did I ever come to you by other excuse no and about smiling then you are my boss and i am an officer a new one I thought it's good to be good with you but knowing you are stone hearted I let it go as it won't make much difference.
Arjun stayed quiet for few mins and then said
Arjun:Do you really love him?
Riya(trying to control her laugh):Yes of course i love him.
Arjun:Since when?
Riya:Since my birth.
Arjun:Is there any chance that you can choose other over him ever I mean if he cheat or something then
Riya:He won't cheat me even if he did I won't leave him still as I love him.
He looked at her and left immediately. Riya laughed aloud imagining his expressions.
Riya:Mr Arjun Rawte you dared to ignore me..even after noticing everything you behaved ignorant..a girl can take anything but ignorance.
Now Riya was more determined to make him pay.
Next day
Riya was at shooting club when she saw one of Aditya's friend Naman.
Riya:Naman dada aap kab aye.
Naman:Riya tum..bas kal hi aya..ab itne din ghar baithke kya karu to socha shooting club hi aa jau aur techniques seekh lu..tum batao tumhari shooting skills kaisi hain.
Riya:Maine seekhi hain kuch new techniques par..
Suddenly she notice Arjun there and she thought of something. He too saw her and listened her talks.
Riya:Par unki tarah ab bhi expert nahi hu.. aap mujhe sikhayenge..i want him to be pround on me.
Naman got it she is saying about Adi as he is expert in shooting and is proud on Riya as she is ACP at such young age.
Naman:Bilkul kyu nahi..new techniques seekhne se better purani wali me expert ho jao.
Arjun thought she is polishing her skills to impress Adi make him proud.
Riya:Now come on help me i dont want to disappoint my sweetheart.
Naman smiles and teaches her. Arjun leaves from there not being able to bear it.
Another day
It was raining heavily since morning so Aditya himself dropped her not wanting her to drive car in rain. He hugged her while leaving and wished her good day. Arjun saw this and employees in office became prey of his bad mood.
Like this Riya continued to make him jealous like by going to cafe which is near office with Adi where Arjun too go or when they cross each other path as Arjun is stranger for Adi. Arjun too behaved ignorant like Riya.
After two weeks
One evening
Riya saw Arjun near her house. She got shocked and pulled him aside because it was time for her dad to return home and she dont want him to get scolded or kicked out by him.
Arjun:Tumne mujhe yahan kyu kheencha.. pakde jane ka dar hai tumhe..tum chahe jo bolo Riya mai janta hu You love me i have seen in it or else why will you do that.. so juat admit it..
Just then Riya saw her dad's car pulled before her house. Arjun thought its Adi as his and Riya's dad height is same and because of darkness visibility was low. Both got bit nervous. Seeing her nervous Arjun said..
Arjun: I got it you are scared of him dont worry we will face together let me meet him I can clear it.
Riya:Nahi ruko..
Riya(mv):Hey bhagwan agar ye aisa gaya to papa ka to pata nahi par dada ise zarur ulta latka denge.
Arjun started walking towards him while Riya pulled him back.
Riya:Arjun mai manage kar lungi tum jao abhi..
Arjun:No Riya we both love each other we should sort this out together so let's talk to him now I waited enough can't do anymore.
Riya was overwhelmed and happy hearing a sincere confession from him. She dont want anything more just her love nothing else.
Next day
Riya:Arjun i broke up with him.
Arjun came to Riya and checked her thoroughly making her confused but then she realised he is seeing if he hurt her anywhere. Seeing him aggressive at mall made him do it. She got more happy seeing how much he cares for her. Finding nothing made him relieved and both hugged.
Riya:Dont worry Arjun he may be hot headed but he dont hurt girls.
ArjunHaan isiliye abhi tak uske saath thi.
After few days
Riya's parents had to go to a party. Riya and Adi were at home. She was talking to Arjun via texting and smiling and blushing time to time. Adi saw this and came to her.
Adi:Riya itni khush hoke kisse baat kar rahi ho.
Riya:Dada wo..
Adi took her phone and saw she is talking to Arjun.
Adi:Tum isse pyar karti ho Riya (she nods) lekin pehle mujhe isse milna hai..mere approval ke baad hi baat aage badhegi..
Riya:Matlab aapko koi problem nahi hai.
Adi:Bilkul nahi agar ye ladka achha hai to..
Riya got happy and called Arjun asking him to meet her brother at a restaurant.
At restaurant
Riya and Adi were waiting for Arjun outside restaurant when he came near them on his bike. Arjun saw Adi and got confused.
Arjun(looking at Riya):Mai nahi janta tha tum mujhe apne boyfriend se milwaogi.
Adi:Riya ye kya keh raha hai..mai ise nahi chodunga agar tumne already ise prepare kiya hai to..
Arjun (pulled Riya towards him):Tum bhale hi uske ex bf hoge mujhe koi fark nahi padta i love Riya she is mine and i am here to met her brother got it.
Adi(pulled Riya towards him..with gritted teeth):She is my sister got it..you better dont dare say anything rubbish or you are gone.
Arjun got confused and looked at Riya and Adi. He joined dots and came to know it was all a prank done by Riya.
Then they went inside. Adi sent Riya to another table wanting to talk to him alone. After sometime they came to Riya.
Adi:Riya Arjun se milne ke baad maine decide kiya hai ki..
Riya looked nervous but somewhere she was sure Arjun wouldn't disappoint her.
Adi:Welcome to our family Arjun.
Ariya got happy listening this and Riya hugged Aditya thanking him.
