You have just wonderfully analyzed the OS. And even I was mad at Arjun for doing all that. The song is my personal favourite so I was happy to write an Ariya on it.

And like I always say, everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

And as far as the story goes, I also mentioned in one of the comments above, Riya still values her self-respect. She loves Arjun so she wanted to know if her wasting her time on him was worth it or not. She knows that if someone doesn't care for her, she wouldn't care about their opinions.

But still thanks for giving this story a try and for the honest reply.

And you don't need to say sorry. Everyone interprets a story in a different manner. I completely respect your point of view. I guess you saw it as a weak Riya begging for Arjun's love.

But my intent while writing was two broken souls finding their way to one another. I agree that what Arjun did was wrong but Riya hasn't forgiven him yet. She never said 'I forgive you' and she won't until Arjun made up for his mistakes. She just wanted to know if being angry at him was even going to be worth it in the end. This is an OS so I couldn't fit it in but she still values her self respect and Arjun is still not forgiven, but they both have found love.
