“thank God. Kal toh hum marte marte bache hain ,nahi toh lag raha tha jaise aakhri pall agaye hamare.”
Shree sighed dramatically ,standing i the airport along with his other teammates.
“shree overreact mat kar,kuch nahi hota tumhe.”
Ayesha rolled her eyes.
“achha? Tujhe Rathore sir kuch ni bolte ,per agar uss goudown me tumhe chhoti sib hi chot lag jaati na toh Rathore sir hum dono ka encounter kar dete.”
Chhotu added twisting his lips.
“guys ab bhul jao usko ,tension toh tum dono ko tab hoti jab Rathore sir hume tum sab ke sath Jodhpur aane se mana karte ,aur phir bhi hum chupke se aajate vo bhi tum dono ke risk me.”
Riya chuckled sharing a hifi with Ayesha.
“achhi dosti nibha rahi hai Ri.”
Shree frowned.
“achha okay sorry per ye batao sakshi kahan hai.?”
Riya raised her brow,and before chhotu could reply sakshi herself replied from their back.
“i’m here.”
“lo ye bhi aagayi.”
Chhtu smiled at her direction,when she approached them with a grin.
“sakshi tum thik ho na.?”
Ayesha inquired.
“mujhe kyka hua tha? Mai toh sirf behosh hui thi,tum dono thik ho.?”
She asked back eyeing her and Riya.
“haan hum thik hai.” Came Riya’s quick reply.
“hmm..aaj jab mai Sameer ke pass permission ke liye gayi thi tum logon ke sath jaane ke liye ,tab sameer ne bataya tum dono ki drame ke bare me,kaise tum dono ne doctor se jhuth bulwa ke investigation me part liya.
He was sounding so concerned for you.”
Sakshi teased Ayesha ,who bit her lip to hide her smile.
“mera chhod,Arjun sir bhi kal se tensed lag rahe the sayad tum office ni ayi thin a issliye.
Dekh abhi bhi kaise chup chap khade hain.”
she teased her back,failing to notice how riya’s smile halted a little at her words but nevertheless she maintained her posture,glancing back at Arjun’s direction;
who was standing alone in a corner.
“you think so.? Agar aesa that oh Arjun kal mujhse milne kyun ni aya hospital.?”
Sakshi whinned.
“arey kal hum yahan unn gundon se deal karne me busy the na sayad issliye.”
Chhotu reasoned,while shree kept mum.
“Team our flight is here,let’s go.”
Rathore announced interrupting their conversation hence all nodded following him quickly.
As the flight landed in jodhpur Rathore and his team were taken to the headquarters where the arrangements were made for their stay en all retired to their respective rooms ,
since their chief announced to start their work in morning.
Soon the morning appeared and all went to a certain conference room,where Rathore had asked them to meet.
“yaar mera toh abhi tak neend pura hi ni hua hai,jee karta hai wapas yahin so jaaun.”
Shree yawned leaning his back over the couch.
Just then Arjun came walking in the room and the first person his gaze fell on,was Shree.
“good morning sir.”
Shree murmured quickly straightening up,while Arjun didn’t reply walking towards a chair and sat there.
‘morning sir.” “morning Arjun.”
Riya,Ayesha ,Sakshi muttered in union,but got no reply in return.
“Good morning everyone,neend khul gayi sabki?”
Rathore asked entering in ,followed by an officer to which his team nodded except Arjun.
“good.toh team inse milo ye hain officer Chandraprakash jo hamari iss case me help karenge.
Inki team already kuch information nikal chuki hai jisko follow karrenge toh ye child trafficking gang ko hum pakad sakte hain.”
Rathore explained .
“hello officers,so good to see the ETF team here.”
The officer gave them a warm smile ,before putting some file on the table he was holding till then.
“child trafficking hamare yahan bahut common crime hua karta tha,per kuch time pehle ye sab yahan band hogaya tha.
Mr Rathore ne inform kiya toh pata chala ye sab wapas shuru hogaya hai,issliye maine te crime karne wale kuch gangs ki information nikala hai.
yahan human trafficking gang chalane wala sabse bada gang hai Bhairon ka. Bahut purana criminal hai,aur kidnapping ,murder jaise crimes me involve rehta hai. Kuch 3 saal pehle ye pehli baar human trafficking case me jail gaya tha,phir chhut bhi gaya tha,uske baad uska koi record nahi hai.
Maybe vo sabki nazar se chhup ke ye kaam phir se kar raha hai ,aur ho na ho aapko jiski khoj hai vo Bhairon hi hai.”
The officer explained.
“apko itna yakin kaise hai ki bhairon hi wohi criminal hai jisse hum dhund rahe hain.?”
Chhotu asked curiously.
“kyunki jabse hame Mumbai bureau se khabar aaya hai ,humne sare gangs pe nazar rakha hai,aur sabse zyada shak hame Bhairon pe gaya.
2 din pehle hi uska kuch maal yahan laya gaya hai container me ,police ka shak tab gaya jab vo container check post ke through nahi balki ek shortcut leke jungle ke bich me se chala gaya,container ka driver Hari tha jisko aap Mumbai me dhund rahe the.”
The officer showed them a clip on the projector ,whom shree quickly identified.
“haan sir ye toh Hari hi hai.”
“toh abhi container kahan hai apko ye bhi pata hoga right? “
Ayesha spoke up narrowing her gaze.
“haan vo toh pata hai. Hamara ek constable wahan undercover bhairon ka gang member hai,usne bataya ki aaj 11 baje container kahin aur shift kar diya jayega.
Uske andar kya hai abhi tak kisiko nahi pata,per jahan tak hamara shak hai container me Mumbai se laaye hue bache hi hain.
Hame khabar mili hai container jahan jaane wala hai wahan tak jaane ke liye 2 raaste hain,ek highway aur ek market .”
“toh definitely vo highway ki raaste se hi jayega.”
Sakshi guessed out.
“nahi vo market ke raaste se jayega.”
Arjun chirped thoughtfully ,hence all turned their heads to him.
“per agar market se raaste se jayega toh kisiko shak nahi ho jayega.?”
Shree enquired.
“kisi ko shak na ho issliye container market ke raaste jayega.
Agar koi check post se bachke dusre raaste jaa raha hai,toh vo kabhi bhi hoghway ke raaste se jaane ki bhul ni karega.
Highway pe police patrolling hoti hai,aur naake pe cctv cameras toh iske liye market ka raasta hi sahi hai.”
Arjun explained.
“rawte is right.hame market ke raaste me pahunch jaana chahiye wahin hame hamara criminal aur bache mil jayenge.”
Rathore broke his silence agreeing to Arjun.
“alright.aap ek kaam kijiye pehle vo maket ka pura map hame chahiye,kuch shopkeepers se baat karke wahan cctv cameras lagaiye jisko Shree tum yahan se monitor karoge ,mujhe yakeen hain wahan aur bhi criminals honge.”
Arjun ordered eyeing the officer,then shree who nodded his head.
“okay sir.”
The officernodded.
Riya who was in deep silence till now ,looked up to Rathore anxiously.
“hamare action lene tak kahin vo log bachon ko kuch...”
“hum sirf umeed kar sakte hain Riya ki bache sahi salamat honge,baaki toh jitni jald hum unhe safe kar sake utna hi achha.”
Rathore replied.
“Riya mere liye ek glass chai leke aao.”
Arjun ordered .
“sir,mai pantry ki taraf jaa raha hun mai le aata hun.”
Shree spoke getting up from his seat.
“tumhara naam Riya hai.?”
Arjun raised a brow at him.
“uh..nahi.” Shree’s smile dropped a little,before looking up to Riya.
“mai leke aati hun sir.” She got up from her seat and left while others watched him intently.
“okay so mai apne officers ko keh deta hun ready rehne ke liye.”
The officer spoke breaking the silence ,and went away leaving the ETF officers alone.

Soon all left for the market except Shree & Sakshi who stayed back to monitor the cameras installed in the shops.
Arjun,Rathore ,Riya & Ayesha acted as the tourists in the market ,whereas Chhotu and few local officers disguised themselves as the shopkeepers.
“Team har kisi pe nazar rakhna ,yahan unke bhi admi ho sakte hain.”
Rathore murmured over the bluetooth to which all murmured ‘okay’ except Arjun.
As hours rolled by there was no sign of arrival of any container making all wonder for a moment.
“shree highway road pe nazar rakh rahe ho? Wahan koi movement hai.?”
Arjun enquired.
“nahi sier,highway ke raste se abhi tak koi container nahi gayi hai.”
Shree replied.
“okay.keep watching.”
Just then Rathore felt a tap on his shoulder and he turned around only to find someone very familiar in front of him.
“chhote thakur sa aap yahan? Jodhpur mein.?”
The elderly man asked in surprise hence rathore bent down to touch his feet.
“kaka sa aap yahan? Matlab kaise hain aap.?”
“hum toh ache hain per aap yahan tak aye hame bataya bhi nahi? Aur ghar tak bhi nahi aaye? Maa sa kitni khush hoti aapko dekhke.”
“nahi mai yahan kuch kaam se ayah un,aur meri puri team hai yahan akela nahi hun,issliye nahi bataya.”
Rathore replied clearing his throat.
“toh kya hua? Aap sabko leeke aate wahan? Aap abhi tak hum sab se naraz hain.?”
Riya ,chhotu exchanged a puzzled look while Ayesha stood watching him silently,and Arjun kept mum from a distance.
Just when Rathore parted his lips to answer they all heard a loud bang from a certain distance ,making all alert that instant and all ran to that particular direction.
“sir accident hua hai.” Chhotu informed helping the man to get up who had fell from his bike and the next moment they found many vehicles coming in their way SUVS,trusks,bikes and many more.
“Damn it. Ye sab iss raaste se kyun arahe hain.?”
Rathore sounded frustrated.
“hello sir,highway ke road me ek bada accident hua hai issliye sabko market ke raaste jaane ke liye bola gaya hai.”
Shree informed over the call.
“what.? Sabko check karo quick.”
Arjun rushed along with Rathore and others to check upon every heavy vehicle but they were kind of in rush much to their dismay.
Ayesha motioned her hand towards a container to stop among the heavy traffic but the driver raced up instead of applying a break making her fall to the side ways.
“Ayesha tum thik ho.?”
Chhotu asked aiming his gun to the container but was stopped by Rathore’s voice.
“chhotu no. Don’t shoot.”
Since the place was almost packed with people he refrained his team from shooting and spoke over the Bluetooth.
“shree vo orange container ko follow karne ke liye inform karo control room ko fast.”
“sir... Yahan aatack hua hai.”
Came shree’s quiet voice after a while ,that made the movements stop.
“what.?” Ayesha exclaimed in shock.
“hum arahe hain.” Rathore informed quickly rushing to his SUV.
The elderly man who was standing beside Rathore eyed everything confusingly before ordering his men to follow the ETF suv as they drove away.
By the time the ETF team reached the quarters it was nearly destroyed much to their shock and few injured officers were getting carried to the ambulance.
“tum dono thik ho.?”
Riya enquired reaching up to Sakshi and shree ,not failing to notice the bandage on Shree’s forearm.
“haan goli bas chhuke nikal gayi aur kuch nahi.”
Shree replied.
“ye sab kaise hua.?”
Arjun glanced at the damages then at him.
“Arjun yahan guards kam the aur isi ka faida uthaya vo gang ne jisse hum yahan pakadne aye hain.”
Came Sakshi’s answer.
“sakshi tumhe kaise pata attack karne wale ussi gang ke hai.?”
Ayesha sounded puzzled.
“kyunki vvo hamare liye ye chhod ke gaye hain.”
Shree forwarded a letter to Rathore which he read out aloud.
“ACP sameer Rathore agar apni team ki bachon ki salamati chahte ho toh yahan se chale jao. Yahan tumhe kuch nahi milne wala ulta sabki jaan se hath dho baithoge.”
“ye kaun hai Chhote thakur sa mujhe batao ,raat tak use aapke samne le aaunga.”
The elderly man spoke up furiously.
“ye kaun hai.?”
Sakshi murmured in confusion.
“maybe Rathore sir ke relative.”
Riya whispered in a low voice.
“huh? Yahan.?”
“rathore sir ka ghar hai yahan.”
This time shree replied causing sakshi’s mouth to fell open.
“uski koi jarurat nahi hai,ye Etf ka case hai aur ETF isko solve karegi.”
Rathore replied sternly making everyone go silent.
“Mr Rathore mujhe nahi lagta aapko aur apki team ko yahan aur rehna chahiye ,isse ETf ki team aur bachon ko bhi khatra ho sakta hai.”
The officer chirped thoughtfully.
“toh aap chahte hain hum unki darr se yahan se chale jayein.?”
Rathore threw a glare at him.
“He is right Rathore ,hum yahan rehke kaam karenge toh vo bachon ko maar denge.
Hame warn karne ke liye unhone officers ko injured kar diya and i’m sure highway pe accident bhi unhone karwaya hai.”
Arjun spoke breaking his silence.
“toh hum kahan kaam kare ye bhi bata do Rawte.”
“aapke ghar se.”
The elderly man replied this time and Rathore released a sharp breathe shaking his head as a no.
“aapne jaisa kaha aapki kaam me koi bich me nah ayega per jab tak aap yahan hain apne ghar se kaam kar sakte hain ,kisi ko shak nahi jaayega aur maa sa bhi khush ho jayengi. Chaliye na chhote thakur sa.”
The man nearly pleaded through his eyes thus Rathore fell silent thinking over it,then averted his gaze to Arjun.
“tum chaloge ya phir tumhe abhi manana padega.?”
“mujhe apne kaam ke liye manane ki jarurat ni hai.”
Arjun retorted back which came as a surprise to rathore.
Did he really agree to come to his place?
“shree sare hard disks apne sath le lo aur sab apne apne luggage ke sath 10 min me yahan aajao.”
Rathore ordered ,causing the elderly man’s smile go wide.
“kya hum sach me rathore sir ke ghar jaa rahe hain.?”
Chhotu exclaimed in surprise.
“case ke liye.” Ayesha added.
“vo jo bhi ho guys hum Sameer ke ghar jaa rahe hain,just imagine.”
Sakshi let out a shriek making others chuckle.
......................................................................................................................Ayesha,Sakshi,Riya ,chootu,shree’s jaws literally dropped the moment they stood in front of rathore’s house which was no lesser than a palace itself.
The area was big with gardens,long driveway ,many people around and the building stood in the centre defining beauty.
“sameer please bolo tumhare ghar ke pichhe sea shore hai aur mai jhule me baithke view dekh sakti hun.”
Sakshi muttered dreamily earning a pointed look from her friends.
“sabko yaad rahe hum yahan case ke liye aye hain ,picnic ke liye nahi.”
Arjun’s curt voice was enough to snap them out of their dream land and they composed themselves before following Rathore inside.
Rathore was welcomed by an arati on the doorstep and he touched the feet of the elderly old woman ,while his team just joined their hands to greet them only except arjun who stood near a corner ,not seeming to be affected by anything.
“maa sa kahan hai.?”
Rathore asked roaming his eyes around the hall.
“maa sa kuch kaam se bahar gayin thi 3 din ke liye,aapke ane ki khabar sunke vo kal subah hi wapas arahi hain.
Bade thakur sa bhi unke sath hi hain.”
One of them replied ,to which Rathore nodded in understanding.
Riya,Ayesha,sakshi were given one room as per their request ,while Chhotu and shree were too given one room and Rathore,Arjun two separate rooms.
For the rest of the day they went through the cctv footages ,files to investigate the case in rathore’s room until the door was knocked.
Shree answered the door only to find a girl of mid 12 standing there with a sweet smile.
“khane ka waqt hogaya hai,kaka sa ne sabko kuch dair me niche bulaya hai.”
As soon as the girl finished the realisation dawned upon them.
It was already the night.
“okay team tum sab fresh hoke niche aajao ,baaki ka kaam hum kal subah karenge.”
Rathore spoke closing the files ,hence all retired to their respective rooms.
By the time Riya came out of the washroom all freshened up in a pair of full length pant and t-shirt Ayesha ,sakshi had already left for the downstairs.
Grabbing her phone in hand she made her way outside of the way but stood puzzled for a moment.
“itne kam log toh rehte hai yahan ,usme itna sara room kyun banaya hai? Ugh..ye niche jane ka raasta kidhar se hai.?”
She frowned getting lost in the hall.
The upstairs was divided in to halls which were filled with rooms,rooms and some more rooms.
Finding none of her friends around she kept roaming around the hall until her footsteps stopped near a corner with her eyes glued to the wall which had a big picture frame hanging on it .
The portrait was of a girl’s who seemed to be of her age and there was a garland attached on it.
On a close look she could notice her eyes were almost matching to rathore’s along with some of her facial feature that made her wonder for a moment who she was.
“vo Rathore ki behen hai.”
Arjun’s voice from back startled her all of a sudden and she turned around with a jolt ,where he stood calmly folding arms across his chest staring at the pic.
On registering his words she looked back to the pic and her eyes widened in realization.
She was rathore’s sister?
No wonder they almost look alike,but considering there was a garland on her pic....
“kya hua tha.?”
She blurted out ,causing Arjun’s eyes to snap up to her.
“ye sawal yahan kisi se mat puchna,specially Rathore se.”
Riya kept abruptly mum at his reply but nevertheless nodded her head in understanding.
“wese tum yahan kya kar rahi ho.?”
Arjun questioned changing the topic and watched her face shrinking in embarrassment.
“vo mai ..niche jaane ka raasta bhul gayi thi toh wohi dhund rahi thi.”
His gaze narrowed at her in a little amusement ,while she cleared her throat avoiding looking at him.
“uh..mai chalti hun,raasta mil gaya hai wese.”
As she started making her way towards the other direction,Arjun spoke stopping her on her track.
“vo ulta raasta hai.”
She furrowed her brows together turning back to him,when he walked away without uttering another single word thus she internally slapped her forehead following him quietly.
