Epilogue

Arjun stares at the rains falling outside, his mind unable to grasp anything except worry. He turns and sits on the bench, his hand twirling the ring situated on his middle finger. Looking at the ring, he smiles. Hearing the footsteps, he looks up and hurriedly gets up seeing the doctor. The doctor gives a tired smile to him and said " double congratulations mr rawte, you have got a boy and a girl."

Arj: is she okay?

Doc: she is fine. Just a little tired so she is resting. You can go and meet her. we will bring the kids to you.

Arjun shook hands with the doctor and hurriedly walked to the room. entering the room, he sees her lying on the bed, her eyes closed looking exactly like a sleeping angel. Walking upto her, he kisses her forehead and feels her smile. She opens her eyes and looks at him with luminous mischievious black eyes. she smiles her dimple smile and said "congratulations mr arjun rawte, you have got a double promotion."

Arj: you too, mrs riya rawte.

Riya places her hand on his cheek and looks at the dark circles beneath his eyes. she said "calm down arjun. I am fine now."

Arjun continues stroking her face and said "when you went into labour and doctor told your complications in the labour, I got scared riya. I felt again that fear."

Ri: arjun, I would have never left you and you would have never let me. Our invisible bond will always tie us to each other.

Arj: I know it does. Riya, do you regret being in this invisible bond with me?

Riya brought arjun's face closer and closer till their lips meet and she poured all her happiness into that kiss. She continues kissing him till they are both out of breath and then they part. Arjun sees a pink colour spread across riya's cheeks as she said shyly "never."

Arjun with a smirk said "wow, mrs rawte. That was some kiss. Mind if we go for another round?"

Ri: arjun

A voice said "papa." Arjun and riya saw as a seven year old girl walked towards them. she stood beside arjun and said "mama, are you okay?"

Ri: ha, anju I am fine.

Riya opened her arms and anjali got into them and hugged her tightly. She looked at arjun with a glare and said "papa, why did'nt you wake me up when mama came out of surgery?"

Arjun kissed anjali's forehead and said "sorry pari. But papa wanted to see first whether mama was okay."

Anjali continued to hug riya and said "mama, you are not having any pain anywhere na?"

Ri: no anju.

A nurse said "ready to meet your children?"

All 3 of them turned to see the nurse holding two bundles in her arms. One bundle she gave to arjun while the other was given to riya.

Arjun and riya opened the blanket covering the faces and was struck by how beautiful they looked. They looked at each other their love shining clearly out of their faces. Anjali looked at her brother and sister and fell in love with both of them immediately. She said "mama, papa look both of them has got mama's eyes and papa's mouth."

Ri: anjali, what names have you decided for your brother and sister?

Anjali first kissed her sister's forehead and said "my sister's name is ariya." And then kissing her brother's forehead said "and my brother's name is Aryan." She then looks at her mama and papa and asks nervously "its okay?"

Arjun and riya kisses each of her cheeks and said "its perfect." and then putting anjali between them while holding their joys with the other hand, said "its perfect."
