CHAPTER 7:

Sakshi fought back a shudder. Arjun caressed her hair then patted her back.

Arjun: Sakshi please.

Sakshi took a deep breath in order to calm her wild heartbeat.

Sakshi: Jabse yeh rapist ke bade mein newspaper mein pada tabse ek doubt tha manme. Ki yeh koi reason se ye sab kar raha hai. I mean koi dhond dhond ke aisi aurto ko rape kar raha hai jiske pati unhe chodkar chale gye but divorce nehi dya. Koi to baat jaror hai. Phir kuch din pehle mujhe late night duty karna pada. It was 11 PM . I was coming back from station. Raste mein achanak gadi kharab ho gyi. Main gadi se utarke baas check karne hi wali thi ki kisine peeche se ake sarpe jodse mara aur main behosh ho gyi.

Saying this Sakshi looked up at Arjun. Arjun's searching hand found a bump in the back of Sakshi's head. He didn't notice it before. He slowly caressed the place then placed a soft kiss on the place. Sakshi smiled and rested her head on his chest again.

Sakshi: Jab hosh aya to maine apne aapko ek kamre mein discover kiya. Mere haat paid bandhe hue the. Lights on tha. Pure kamre mein khun je cheete the. Bohot badbu thi..(Sakshi shuddered at the memory)..Jagah jagah pe insaan ke chamri, baal, nakhoon pade the. Mujhe ulti aa rahi thi. Bohot mushkil se apne aapko roka. Then I noticed him. He was wearing a mask and a denim pants. His upper back was naked. He said, "No worry dear. Tumhari halat un bechariose jyada battar hogi. I will make that sure" . Saying that he laughed and then went away from there. When he turned away I saw the tattoo. He left the lights on. Arjun the scene was so horrible. I wanted to close my eyes but couldn't. And the smell. That was horrible. After sometime I couldn't bear anymore and fainted. When my senses came I discover myself in front of my house. My hands and legs were no longer tied down.

Arjun frowned.

Sakshi: I recognize his voice. It was Paban's voice Arjun. It was Paban's voice.

Arjun patted her back as she was getting hysterical.

Arjun: How can you be so sure..

Sakshi: When I was fainted I somehow dropped my cell phone there. After getting fresh I tracked it down. The signal was coming from one of the godoun's of Agnihuti's.

Arjun: But why did he let you go?

Sakshi: Paban likes to play games. My guess is he is testing me. Playing with me. He wanted my body since I was in college. He disturbed me many times. But I didn't pay any heed. Then I joined police academy and at last I got married. But he got the chance as you left me. He made a full proof plan. So, when he will finish with me no one will doubt him. He made the plan just for me. Just for me. Arjun he will kill me.

Arjun: Sakshi look at me. Koi tumhara kuch nehi bigad sakta. Samjhi tum? Koi tumhara kuch nehi bigad sakta. Main hoom na? Main uss kamine ko tumhe choone taak nehi dunga.

Arjun sensed that she is getting hysterical again. The incident made an affect on her. She needed his support and strength. He flipped her and made her lay on her back. He softly placed a kiss on her forehead. Slowly he moved down and claimed her lips. He kissed her with open heart. His hands started wandering over her body. Soon they became one again.

It was past dawn when Arjun woke up Sakshi.

Sakshi: Kya hua Arjun? Itni subah? Raat ko to thikse sone bhi neh dya.

She blushed at the memories of last night. Arjun smiled a naughty smile.

Arjun: Adat dal lo. Aab se rooj aise hi der raat jagavuunga,

He caressed her cheek. Sakshu blushed and hid her face in Arjun's chest. Arjun chuckled but became serious again.

Arjun: Sakshi uttho.

Sakshi opened her eyes and looked at him. He was full dressed.

Sakshi: Arjun tum kaha ja rahe ho?

Arjun: Tum nehi haam.

Sakshi: Haam?

Arjun: Ha. Haam uss godoun pe ja rahe hai.

Sakshi: But Arjun kiyu?

Arjun: Sameer ka call aya tha. Mr. Agnihuti ne England ke lye teen ticket book kya hai. Parso ke. Agar wohlog ek baar chale gye to dobara kabhi haat nehi ayenge. And Paban is not finished with you. Woh yeh khel khatam karke phir yaha se jyega. Main chata hoom ki usse pehle haam usspar bhar kare.

Sakshi nodded. She was more than grateful. He was not keeping her sideline. He was taking her with him like a true companion. He didn't doubt on her abilities. She liked the way he said "HUM" . She smiled. She got up from the bed and got ready. She wore a black denim pant and a dark shirt. She took her gun with her.

After taking a light breakfast they went to the car and started their journey. Arjun was driving.

Sakshi: Arjun haam kaha ja rahe hai?

Arjun: Ussi godoun mein. Maine un teenoke phone track kiye. Phir tumhara peechla track check kya. Sab ek jyga pe. Location pata kya to ek godoun dikha raha tha. Wohsab abhi wahi pe hai.

Sakshi nodded. After fifteen minutes they reached the destination. They got down from the car and slowly edged towards the door. There was pin drop silence.

Arjun touched the door and it opened. He frowned. There should be guards. Any kind of security.

Sakshi was the one understood it. She screamed.

Sakshi: It's a trap Arjun. Ran. It's a trap.

Before they could move someone hit behind their head and everything went black
