It had been over a year after ETF had successfully nabbed Sikander and fulfilled their personal revenge. They had not started to search Sikander but had reached him while solving a high profile drug and human tracking case. As expected Arjun was out of control as he was on the verge of completing the mission of his life- avenging his beloved wife's brutal murder. Sameer was initially shocked as he had always believed that Sikander doesn't exists and was nothing more than a fragment of Arjun's imagination. There was initial reluctance even among the members of ETF to accept harsh reality. Each and every member of member of ETF had cause to fight and nab the person who was in more than one way responsible for the destruction of the society. Saakshi was unusually calm during those adverse situations and helped them a lot in nabbing and finishing their nemesis called Sikander. She had stood by them in the true sense, breaking the barriers that existed between two estranged friends Rathod and Rawte bringing back the Sameer and Arjun in them before the final encounter so that Sikander could not take advantage of the rift between. She had also provided some vital clues and proofs that had led them to Sikander. Initially they were amazed by the sorts of vital clues she had given them as they already knew what sought of risks involved in collecting these proofs. She had requested them not to ask her how she had collected them. It was also mission of Saakshi's life to finish off Sikander as he had ruined her family killing them brutally in a manner that would send shivers down any one spine. She was never one of those who found it easy to share her grief and pain with others. She had always kept her share of pain all to herself hiding then so to say easily and flawlessly behind her smiles. He had not only killed her entire family on that fateful day but given a state worse than death to her father. Her father was completely bed ridden and in comma for the past two years before dying a couple of months ago. She had once in the past come very close to him and again to be betrayed by him at the last moment this time not only losing her dear one but also herself. That incident had taken away the last relationship that she had from her and left her more determined to find him and finish him off. It had also had given her the insight of how powerful and influential he was. That's when she had decided that she would not be able to do this all alone but needed support and decided to join ETF. Her path to reach ETF was never easy but she had struggled a lot to reach here and once in had to cope with wrath and hatred of none other than the hot headed cop himself who was hell bent on getting her out at any cost. It had always amazed her as why a man who was always looked beyond the oblivious in the cases he dealt with was unable to do so in her case. She had instantly read the same pain and grief in his eyes the first time she had met him then why he wasn't able to do it. Had she become so good in hiding her grief and pain. All those were past now and the only thing that mattered right now was to finish off the man who was not only their enemy but also enemy to humanity.

They had fought hard and long before they could finish Sikander off. Arjun was content as he had fulfilled the mission of his life and Sameer was happy after long time as he had finally avenged his sister and friend Roshini's murder. Aisha, Shree, Chotu and Liza were happy that they had given justice to numerous people who had been killed by Sikander. Amongst all this fiasco nobody realized the void left in Saakshi's eyes, as she had seen the angry and hot headed cop fire a line of bullets on Sikander. She wanted to give him death by her own hands but for that instant seen Arjun to do what she had been waiting to do for the past two years. It was as if the sole mission of her existence and life was over with his life and the world around her ceased to exist. No one around her were able to realize her state and as usual she had to gather herself up on her own as the only one person who should have been her support system through this hated her with vengeance. She had with great difficulty gathered herself up supported her new found family members through the tough times.

Time whirled away and Arjun though initially found it difficult as his life ceased to exist after he had avenged his beloved's death, but was brought out of his imaginary world through relentless efforts of Saakshi. She had made him realize that his mission of life had not ended with Sikander but had just begun as there were numerous Sikander's out in the open that needed to be punished. She had reminded him of the oath that he had taken while becoming the cop to upheld justice and punishes the wronged. He had soon come back to ETF and resumed his duties. Happiness was slowly coming back into the life of the officers of ETF as Aisha and Sameer had decided to take a step towards their togetherness with a decision of getting married after confessing the undying love for each other. Saakshi had taken it on herself to make this as special as it could get for the couple and made this event a really memorable one for them. Soon Shree and Liza had also realized the underlying love between the unwanted and unnecessary banter and was on track to tie knot.

The ETF members had started to notice the hidden longing pain and wish in her during the occasions such as marriage but were unable to deduce the reason nor was she sharing it with them. She didn't want to spoil their well deserved happiness by sharing her pain with them.

Saakshi took care of the needs of each and every member of ETF but something was amiss. The bubbly and chirpy journalist had turned into a serious and no nonsense sort of person who would speak up only when it was needed. Arjun had slowly started acknowledging her presence in his life but suddenly she had withdrawn herself away from him as though some unknown force was stopping her from going towards him. This change of hers not only amazed her friends but also shocked them. She knew all the things about their lives but she was still a closed book for them. This was the phase where Arjun had slowly realized the importance of Saakshi in his life and was probably wishing for new and content life with her leaving behind his haunted and dreadful past. But this sudden withdrawal of her from him had affected him more than one ways. Having seen her undying love and concern for him in her eyes on more than one occasion he was confused as to what was the sudden reason for her behavior. He had always thought that he had to take just that one step forward to bring her to his life and was ready to take after a lot of fight between his over analytical mind and his heart. He had come to accept the only truth of his life that he had fallen in love again and wanted to bring her into his life. She had made him live again and now he had started carving for probably a happy and blissful life with her. But her sudden change in behavior when he was all set to welcome her into his otherwise empty had affected him badly. Arjun was slowly again coiling himself back into his shell as Saakshi had kept her distance from him. He had once again become a loner. That was when Sameer and Aisha had stepped into his life and held him together.

Saakshi had taken an off for a month suddenly and went away. Arjun was more irritated by her sudden disappearance from his life. He had become more agitated and short tempered. He would throw away his life at every possible way. Just a week had passed after Saakshi's sudden disappearance from their lives but everyone had started to miss her in more than one way.

It was yet another busy and buzzing day at office for the ETF members because of another high profile case. This time it was the case where the elder daughter in law of Raghuveer Sharma, DIG of Mumbai Police, Sanjana Sharma was kidnapped. Raghuveer Sharma was not only the DIG but also Sameer and Arjun's mentor, so they had additional responsibility to set things rights. It had almost a day the members of ETF had worked very hard but not progressed a bit. It angered Arjun and Sameer more and were working more hard to set things right. And finally they had got information about the kidnapper after massive efforts of their technical expert and out of box thinking of our own Arjun. The team headed to Pune to nab the culprit and reached the warehouse where Sanjana was held as hostage by the kidnappers. After great efforts they had rescued her from the clutches of kidnappers but her state was bit too critical as she had to be taken to hospital immediately. They had admitted her in the hospital and informed her family members. Raghu Sir and his son had rushed to hospital only to know that her state was too critical. Added to it, her own father was one of the leading doctors of the country but was unable to do anything as her case was one of more complex cases that needed specialist attention. That's when Dr. Ravi Verma, Sanjana father decided to take that one step he should have taken a bit earlier that is to bring that one person who could bring back his daughter back to life. He used his contacts to find that one person Dr. Anushka Sharma back. He had contacted her and she had agreed to take up the case of his daughter.
