Hey guys, thanks for all your lovely comments. I am sitting bored at a guest's house, so I thought, why not post? As I said before, flashbacks are in green. I now present part 3...

Part 3 -

I take my first step through the gates of a new leaf of my life. My new university. I hope to become someone big, even though my dreams are fairly small. The only objective of my life is to punish the man who ruined it. All my life I had been waiting for this moment, this chance to change my life. I want to become a police officer.
My arms are loaded with several binders, flyaway papers and my resume. To be honest, I can barely see where I'm going. I can hear loud conversations of hundreds of people, aiming high in life like me. I wonder , how am I going to fit in? Suddenly, I crash into a firm body and all my papers go flying up in the air. I look into a pair of dark orbs, looking at me with utter disbelief. "Oh hello madam! Aap dekhe nai chal sakte kya?" I bend down and collect everything up. "Sorry," I mutter and hastily walk away.
The bell rings. It's time for my first lesson: chemistry. Trying not to get lost, I make my way through the huge, ancient building into the lab. " Miss Teje, you're late!""Sorry sir..." He seats us in alphabetical order and introduces himself as Dr. Abhijeet. Then he explains the rules of lab. I find myself sitting next to the same pair of black eyes. "Kya baat hai, you didnt bump into anyone else did you?" he sarcastically says. "What's it to you?" I reply, trying to sound unaffected by this annoying person. At the end of the lesson, I find myself quite irritated as I had to sit next to a flirtatious, overconfident and proud oaf for the rest of... You know... For all my classes.
Finally, when it was time for break, Dr. Abhijeet comes round to collect our holiday assignment. It was due today. I search my bag frantically, trying to find my work, as he approaches our bench." Your assignment, Miss Teje?" "Here you go, Sir. She gave it to me for proof reading." WHAT? Did he just do that? He just gave in his work as mine. Why? " Ok then, where's yours Arjun?" Dr. Abhijeet asks. " I forgot it at home Sir, but it will be in your book locker by tomorrow morning, I promise Sir" he casually says. " Ok tomorrow morning, otherwise..." "Definitely Sir."I can't believe it. Why did he do that?
I see him in the cafeteria talking to a boy called Sameer and sognal for him to come over. I ask him why he did it. "Anything for a beautiful lady like you..." he says in a cheeky voice. "Please. I'm not that stupid". He continues, " Dr. Abhijeet and I have a unique bond. And you. Clearly don't. So I thought to help you out a little." He gives me a wink. "Thanks," I say. "No problem, Miss.?." "Prerna Singh Teje" "Arjun Suryakant Rawte. Friends?" he asks, extending a hand. I shake it, "Friends."

Hi guys, so I was a bit disappointed about the response from part 3. Please tell me whether you liked it or not. Silent readers could at least press the like button. I might stop writing this ff if no one likes it. So I now present part 4...

Part 4 -

When I first met him, he was nothing more than a flirt, annoying me to no end. Since the first day of college, he had started clinging on to me. Days, weeks, months flew by, I didn't realise how time went. He became my best friend. In the morning we would both go jogging together, somehow he managed to convince me to go with him. Every evening, he would come to my house to drink my "unmatchable chai." We would sit next to each other in every class. There was nothing we would hide from each other. Except my past, I never told him the story behind me being an orphan. He felt bad for me just for that. He was starting to melt the wall I had built around myself.
As time went by, we became famous as the two best friends of the college. One day, after school, he told me he wasn't feeling well so he went home. He wouldn't listen to any of my requests to go with and take care of him. The next day, I had to listen to him for ages, going on about some amazing girl. Arjun was always a happy-go-lucky, friendly type of person, but I had never seen him so happy. He told me how the night before, Sameer had sent his best friend Roshni to Arjun's house as he was stuck in some urgent work. Roshni was angry with Sameer for leaving her on her own so she decided to stay with Arjun
To Arjun, she was the most beautiful personno angel, on the earth. He described her as an angel with glowing skin, a heartbreaking smile and dark eyes so deep, that one could drown in them. I became curious to meet her as arjun couldn't meet me as often in the evenings.
From then on, whenever I would talk to Arjun, his main topic of discussion was Roshni. It was as though he had nothing else to talk about. All our years of helping each other, mocking teachers and jokes had now become Roshni. Just Roshni.

Hey guys, I watched the last episode today and I'm heartbroken. I don't feel like writing much but it's the only way to divert my attention from crying😭. Go and watch the hangout with Shaleen Malhotra and Gorky M on youtube. Here's part 6...

Part 6 -

I didn't get it. Why was I crying? My heart felt as though someone had stabbed it with a piece of glass. The whole day, I wasn't paying attention in lessons. I got told off, but nothing was heard. Tears were dripping down my cheeks; my eyes were swollen and red. It was as though my heart was crying...

I was at my favourite place. I would come here whenever I felt sad, which was a lot. But that day, I felt truly alone. I missed Arjun's presence; his smart jokes and caring smiles.

I stared at the waterfall, the flowing water gave me peace. An hour passed by and a lady came up to me. "I have been watching you for some time, you seem sad. You can share your problem with me." A strange feeling of relief swept over me. I felt as though I could share anything with her even though I didn't even know her. "It hurts a lot. But why?" I was speaking nonsense but she understood. She said "Look deep inside your heart and you will find your answer..." With that she walked away.

I closed my eyes, memories flashed before me. Laughter, sadness, hugs and smiles. The words escaped my mouth "I love you" But my heart broke at the thought that this wasn't possible. My feelings would never be reciprocated. And anyway, my love might ruin our beautiful friendship.

So I decided to stay away from him; to not let my love ruin everything. Actually, he never noticed. He was always caught up with work and Roshni. Their wedding was only a few months away.

The day finally came. Eleven months of training went quicker than I expected it to. I took my training silently, staying on my own most of the time. We got our uniforms. We swore to serve justice to the good and punish the evil.

Cases came and went; they were like easy-to-solve maths puzzles, and beating criminals up became a hobby. Arjun and I were appreciated a lot, for our quick thinking and analyzing skills. But one couldn't beat the other; we were both the best. We wouldn't talk much anymore, if we did, it would be about a case.

One day, we were sitting in the office when Arjun received a call. He came back looking really worried. I asked him what happened. "Someone's kidnapped Roshni."

The girl who was kidnapped was roshni. The story is in prernas pov. The lady who came was just a random stranger
