Chapter 5:

Karan: Oye Shera tu thik toh hai na!!

Arjun raised a brow.

Arjun: Kiyu mujhe kya hoga?

Karan: Nehi woh...woh..

Arjun: Yeh woh woh chod aur case pe concentrate kar.

Angali: Mr. Arjun yeh aapke haath mein kya hai?

Everybody looked at his hand. It was a beautiful red scarf. Arjun smiled at the memory. Yeah. He stole it from Sakshi's wardrobe. Yes, he searched her wardrobe. And he wasn't ashamed a bit. He was looking for her dupatta but his eyes fall on it. He took it just to keep her fragrance and memories close. To feel her close.

All looked at him with a gaped expression. He was smilling!! They never saw him smilling before.

Arjun: Kuch bhi nehi. Angali jo data maine manga tha woh ready hai?

Angali: Yes Mr. Arjun. They are ready. Yeh lijiye.

Arjun took the file and became busy on it. Others looked at each other but couldn't understand what was happening. Well all except Karan.

He sensed his Shera's restlessness since they were in hospital. But he decided to leave it. Well for now.

Karan (in mind): Kabtak bachega baccha. Main pata laga ke rahunga ki chakkar kya hai. Tune abhitak Karan ko thik se pehchana nehi hai. Mwahahahahaha..

Sometimes later Simran and Piyali started talking in low voice.

Simran: Piyali tumhe kya lagta hai? Yeh kiski scarf ho sakta hai?

Piyali wasn't in a mood to answer. Her mind was whirling around the scarf, She was feeling helpless. She was feeling desperat.

Piyali: Mujhe kya paata?

Simran wasn't blind. She knew about Piyali's feelings very well. By her tone she could tell that Piyali wasn't happy about the turn of incidents.

Simran: Dekho Piyali mujhe tumhare neeje zindegi mein dakhal nehi dena chahiye but ek baat jaroor kehna chahungi. Fate pe kisika haat nehi hoota. Jo hona hai woh hokar rahega. Tum chaho ya na chaho.

Piyali turned her face away. She didn't want to discuss anything with Simran.

Piyali: Nehi Simran. Jo mera hai woh hamesha mera hi rahega. Dekhlena tum Arjun ekdin mujhse jaroor pyar karega.

That noon everybody was enjoying their lunch. They were siiting at a resturant waiting for the food to be searved. Ariyan came with them. Smeer had gone to meet with his informer. Suddenly Sakshi's phone buzzed. She checked the caller ID and groaned under breath.

She excused and went away from them to pick up the call.

Sakshi: Namaste Masa.

Mrs. Anand: Namaste beta.

Sakshi: Masa aap achanak..

Mrs. Anand: Aap toh hame call karenge nehi issliye hamne hi call kar liya. Kaisi hai aap?

Sakshi: Haan Masa haam thik hai. Aap kaisi hai? Babasa and Dadisa?

Mrs. Anand: Haam saab thik hai. Apko toh flue hua tha na? Ab usska halat kaisa hai? Aapne doctor ko dikhaya?

Sakshi was a bit taken aback. She didn't her family about her flue.

Mrs. Anand: Aap yehi soch rahe hai na ki haame kaise paata?

Sakshi gather herself up.

Sakshi: Haan. Woh..

Mrs. Anand: Sameer ka phone aya tha. Unhone haame baatya.

Sakshi gritted her teeth.

Sakshi (in mind): Sam ka baccha. Tujhe toh main chodungi nehi. Agar maine Buasa ko Aisha ke baare mein nehi baatya toh main bhi Sakshi Anand nehi.

Mrs. Anand: Aapne abhi taak mere sawalo ka jawab nehi diya.

Sakshi snapped out from her revenge mood.

Sakshi: Ji Masa maine doctor dikhai hai and med bhi le rahi hoom. Aap phikar maat kijiye.

Mrs. Anand: Phikar kaise na karoo? Phoolo pe chalne wale pao jab katoon se bhari raste se chalti hai tab dard to hogi hi na? Aur jaab baccho ko chot puchti hai tab sabse pehle ma ke dilpe dard hota hai. Jab aap ma banengi tab aapko paata chalega.

Sakshi: Masa dheere dheere uss kaate bhari raste pe chalne ki adat ho hi jaati hai. Thik hai Masa aab main phone rakhti hoom. Sabko meri namaste keh dijiyega. Aur apna khyal rakhyega.

Mrs. Anand: Thik hai. Aap bhi apna khyal rakhyega. Bye.

Sakshi: Bye.

Mrs. Anand cut the call and turned to her mother-in-law who was sitting beside her.

Mrs. Anand: Aapki pooti badi ho gyi hai Bhabo.

Bhabo smiled hearing this. After all it runs into family. Sakshi's Grandfather was in Army. He died serving his country. Sakshi's father is in Airforce. Her other sons and daughter also choose to serve the country directly or indirectly. She herself is a honest and renowned politician.

Bhabo: Haan. Panchi ko ek na ek din toh udna hi tha.

Mrs. Anand: Par Masa usski shadi ki umar ho geyi hai. Aab toh haame ladka dhunda suru kar dena chahiye.

Bhabo: Aap bhool rahe hai Rajni Bahu ki Sameer usse 4 saal ka bada hai. Aur abhi tak usska shadi nehi hua. Mana saaga bhai nehi hai par cousin toh hai na? Khun ka rishta hai. Aur phir bada bhai ke rehte choti behen ki shadi.. nehi. Pehle Sameer ka shadi karwana hoga. Maine aaj subah Mohini se naat ki hai iss bade mein. Ussne kaha ki woh apne bete se jald hi baat karegi.

Mrs. Anand: Haan par..

Bhabo hold up her hand..

Bhabo: Aur aapne abhi taak usski pasand bhi nehi poochi. Ho sakhta hai ki usse koi ladka pasand ho.

Mrs. Anand: Haan. Aapne sahi kaha hai. Likin paata kaise lagao?

Bhabo: Woh aap haampe chod dijiye. Haam paata laga lenge.

Mrs. Anand: Par aap kaise paata lagyenge?

Bhabo (with a stern expression) : Rajni Bahu aap yeh bhool rahe hai ki haam ek famous politician hai.

Saying that Bhabo winked and then they burst out into laughing. Though they were Saas and Bahu they were more like friends. They share everything with each other. Two women started their journey in different ways and different age but it didn't made difference in their relationship. They made a relation with respect and friendship.
