The length of the parts may tell you the deficiency of my imagination or improvisation..🤣

I had no way to hide this since you've insisted to reveal it.



And i can assure you to improve the ability, but not in the next chap, since i plan to post a small part and the skill can't be improved in a week's time.😲

I've posted the next chap. There was complains about the shortness of the previous chap.

Our dear friend Cutymishti16 did the complaint actually !

So Ive improvised this chap some. The second part of this chap is for your sake dear!

Hope there won't be any disappointments at the improvisation!

Here we go...

Chapter-5:

Speak what is useful, and speak not useless words.

THE FOUR DAYS

As Arjun came outside the questioning room, Mr.Janardhan Sharma came in with a constable hastily.

He was disturbed by the news, all right! His hair was uncombed, one button was unbuttoned!

Even he looked tired and aged for his age.

He was clumsily moving forward and his nerves were jumping all over his body.

He looked hither and thither, hoping to get a glimpse of his son.

Once he entered into the office, he started talking, before he could know whom he was talking to.

"It all happened on behalf of me sir! Leave my son sir! Please leave my son .Uh!-"

He was about to run into Arjun. That stopped him.

Arjun held up a finger and motioned him to a nearby chair, as we swarmed the table.

Arjun eyed Sakshi significantly. She retreated silently, resumed with a glass of water and put it on the table in front of Mr. Sharma.

He took it nervously.

"What happened?" Arjun asked, once he put the glass down.

"Sir! Rupav is my son. He knew nothing of the loan I bought for his study until lately. He is studying Engineering. I had to buy a loan from Baradhwaj. He was overrating the interest. I begged him for just. But he didn't budge in a bit.

"That night I went home and was cursing him that was when Rupav returned home from a special program they were conducting in his college.

"He felt guilty and was upset. He skipped supper, leaving his mother's pleadings behind.

"By nine thirty we came to know that he had gone out. His sister came back from his room, seeing that he was not around.

"We thought that he had gone to visit a friend to cool himself out. But he hadn't come back till dawn. And this morning I heard he had been arrested for murdering Baradhwaj.

"Sir! Believe me killing is too much for us sir. We are not the one who will fight back."

He said weakly, and looked up at Arjun, who asked him the exact time of Rupav's leaving.

"By nine o'clock sir! We didn't know the exact time."

"And at what time do you have supper?"

"Usually, I return home by eight o'clock. Before I take my bath, Rupav and his sister will finish eating by eight thirty, for they've to do their homework later in Rupav's room. But that night he didn't allow her in."

We were in a restaurant, nearby the office building. We were sitting under a round table in a way that Chottu and I were opposite to each other, likewise, Ayesha and Sakshi. That was our favorite position and that way we would feel more intimate.

Arjun sir refused to come along, he might be skipping lunch. Said that, we were in a Party lunch' that day.

After Sakshi set foot into the office, it was becoming a custom that, if two or more of us wore the same colour pattern dress then, they had to give chocolates to others.

If that was the case of Arjun sir and Sakshi, she would buy us lunch, just the three of us to be exact.

Today was one of those days.

They both were in blue outfit.

The Party lunch' was confirmed by Ayesha, who found a black colour thread work on Sakshi's three fourth sleeve which went with Arjun sir's black pants.

So we were enjoying the Party lunch!'

Chottu signaled me to see at Sakshi.

I didn't get what he meant.

I lifted a questioning eyebrow at him.

He again did the same signal.

"What?" I asked then.

"See! Sakshi can't eat, since she is going to miss us the coming days!"

Sakshi was just stirring the food. She looked up guiltily, but said, "That's true!"

When we finished our lunch, she just had drunk the juice.

Her plate was left, untouched!

While paying, she ordered a parcel for a glass of juice, two dry globe jamunes and a pocket of veg-rice.

While waiting for the parcel to be packed, she said, "Just in case..."

We did not say anything for we knew what it meant while it was said by her.

When we returned, his head appeared in the computer section. Sakshi left us there and rushed toward his room.

She cleared the table to place the things on it.

She arranged the parcel so that he would see the jamunes first and prayed for the food should be in good condition if and when it was accepted.

Chottu entered into the conference room, letting out a low whistle.

"I don't think he will be here any time soon!"

"Why? He went out?"

Sakshi looked up and asked.

"No, No! He is in his room, all right! But is drinking the juice like a baby."

"Oh oh! Juice time?.."

I commented and looked at Sakshi.

"We need another treat for this!"

"Why not? I'll give it in a five-star hotel, once I come back, once he accepts to come along!"

"Not fair!Not fair!" Chottu and I cried together.

Ayesha was silent this long who knew the true meaning of those words.

"Excuse me!" She said and quietly left the room.
