Disclaimer: The Characters in my story are inspired from the show but the way the react to different situations are purely my imagination. Any resemblance is purely coincidental.

Part 1:

In Mumbai Railway Station:

A girl in her late twenties got down from the train and started walking towards the taxi stand dragging her luggage. She stepped into the taxi telling him her address and the taxi started moving through the heavy Mumbai traffic. She lowered the window glass of the passenger's seat to take the view of the city. She was not new to this city as she had spent a fair bit of her childhood here before moving away from her due to her dad's job. Nothing remained the same, neither was she the same happy, go lucky girl she was once when she though unwillingly left this city, nor was the city.

Some things that lasted all these changes were the life, fun and buzzing activities that filled every nook and corner of the city. Mumbai- Sapnon ki nagari as people referred it, a place where everyone came to fulfill their dreams, aspirations and achieve something big. But here she was forced by the circumstances to return to this place. Everything in her life had ceased to exist in her life six years ago. That one night tragedy had snatched her entire family from her and turned her into an orphan. She was once the apple of her parent's eye and soul of her brother's life. They fulfilled every minute desire of hers even before it dawned to her. Everything about her life was picture perfect expect the presence of a man who could be hers and only hers. Then came that day when he entered her life completing all the uncompleted ends of her life his unlimited and unadulterated love. Their love story was not a normal one but very different as they held together not only their love for each other but by their Prem as well.

He had left her stranded in life one fine day snatching all her happiness and desire to live due to his lack of trust. When she was trying to accept the truth of her and move on, the destiny had played another cruel game with her leaving no soul to call hers in this whole world. Her life had come to a stand still with nothing but a promise to bring her loved ones justice. It was when a little angel stepped into her life, making her realize not everything about her life was over. She became her soul, breath and life. She would live to give her happiness and gain happiness in return. She was her world her Shristhi as she had named her because Saakshi was reborn when the day Shristhi had stepped into her life. Her world started and ended with Shristhi. She had owed to herself that day that she would not let anything of her haunted and disastrous past into her present. True to her oath till day she had shielded her daughter from all the evil.

But today she was stepping out of her comfort zone and coiled nest of safety to join one of the country's most prestigious organization that strives to bring justice to the needed. She was to join ETF tomorrow as a crime investigation reporter to cover their work and bring their courage, struggles, and selflessness and never say die attitude to curb all the crimes and make this society a safe one for people to live. She also was aware of the possible risks that surrounded her job. But she had to take up this job to deliver justice to her loved ones. She prayed the almighty to keep her daughter away from any misfortunes that could now again is a part of her life.

The sudden halt of her cab, brought her back to reality. She saw that a man had just landed in the front of cab that made the driver apply brakes suddenly. Another man who came running behind him held him by collar and started beating him badly even though he was already injured badly. The driver was about to start the car again when Saakshi stopped him and got down of the cab. She went straight to the man who was beating and held his hand and stopped him.

Saakshi: Ye kya kar rahe ho? Koyi kissi ko itni behrahmi se Maartha hai kya?

Man: Do you know what he did? Without knowing what he had done don't support him. He was molesting a young girl.

Meanwhile the culprit tried to escape and was caught by the onlookers.

Saakshi: Baale he issne jo kiya woh kaalath hai. Par tumne jo kiya woh bhi sahi nahi hai. Agar issne galathi ki hai tho saasha kaanoon degi. Tum hothe kaun ho isse saaza dene wale. Haalath chaahe jo bhi ho kissi ko kaanoon ko apni haath mein lene ka haqh nahin hai. Saamjhe ya acche se phirse Saamjhavum.(Looking to the Crowd): Tum log yahan kya tamasha dekh rahe hain? Jaldi police ko phone karo aur isse unke havale karo. (To Criminal) Tume aise saaza milege jo iss duniya mein har mard ko ek sabhak hogi.

Saying that she boarded the cab and left the place. Arjun was least to say dumbstruck. It was the first time in his life someone had spoken to him in that manner and he was not able to reply. He was indeed mildly impressed by her daredevil nature and her samjhe ya samjhavum to him. But he had to concentrate on the task in his hand for the time being that is to get the criminal arrested.
