CHAPTER 1
Ar: shree, where is the details of malhotra?
Shree handed the file to him and told him all the details.
Ar: okay see the cctv footage and tell me if anything weird is there.
Shree just nodded and left. Arjun noticed how shree was silent today and he knew the reason also. Today was the day she had left. Everthing or else everyone changed after that. somehow everyone recounciled with what happened and moved on ahead of this. 3 more girls joined the etf team and shree and chotu made excellent relationship with them. They maintained a fun relationship with each other aiming not to ruin their friendship with this betrayal. Him and rathore handled it their own way by making sure that riya's absence was never felt by all of them. Ironically this incident made a closer relationship between the 4 of them cementing a bond of ever-lasting trust. But still he saw a speculative look on each of their faces sometimes. Even he used to wonder why she left? What happened? But now is not the time to ponder over her. now is the time to work on this case. And he worked on the details.
The case was solved. Rathore told everyone to fill out the paperwork. Chotu started filling out the paperwork when a cup of coffee was placed in front of him.
Ch: thanks ri...sakshi.
Sakshi nodded her head with a smile and left. Chotu took a sip of the cup of coffee.
Flashback
Riya made the cup of coffee for everyone and placed it in front of shree and chotu. Chotu and shree took a sip of the coffee.
Sh: ri, seriously coffee is amazing.
Ri: of course I made it.
Ch: ha, ha by the office coffee maker.
Ri: chotu how do you know that?
Ch: arre, then tell me do you add something in the coffee ?
Ri: I won't tell.
Sh: then chotu is right. You make it from the office coffee maker only.
Shree and chotu hi-fived each other.
Ri pouted and said " fine, fine if you think like that then think. But I won't tell my secret. If I am not there and you taste the coffee then tell me if it is made from the coffee maker or from my hands."

Chotu snapped out of his thought when he heard shree's call. He looked towards shree and shree understood that he was thinking about her.
Sh: no use, thinking about a person who does'nt care about us.
Ch: but how will the heart forget the person most memorable?
Shree had no answer for that.
She stared outside the window but saw nothing. Darkness had been a part of her life since that time. She missed them and there was'nt a day that she does'nt remember them. She touched her necklace. She always knew that there was no going back now. But that does'nt make her hurt any less.

Ri: no use trying to do it jai.
Jai heaved a disappointed sign.
Ja: damn, I knew I was going to scare you this time.
He saw her lost expression and understood what she was thinking.

Ri: I do know that bhukkad but you see it does'nt hurt to reminisce old memories when you have made peace with them.

Riya remained silent.
Jai gave a side hug and said " I know it has been 2 years since you left but it is time that you leave them behind. It is no good thinking about something which has pain."
Ri: but I was the one who gave them pain and I know that I have to live with it for the rest of my life with that guilt alone.
Jai said furiously " not alone. I am here"
Riya placed her head on jai's shoulder and heaved a sign. She knew how much it hurted jai to see her in this state. So she decided to change the topic.
Ri: tell me one thing jai. Why are you here? You should be at kashyap mansion right?
Jai remained silent.
Riya understood and said " you again fought with chachi. Right?"
Jai: I could'nt help it riya. I mean I don't understand why mom does not want to you to come to social gatherings? I mean it is not your fault that you are... and he stopped realizing what he was going to say. He turned his head and tried to control his anger. Riya kept her hands on the sides of his face and made him turn towards her.
Ri: jai, this is a part of my life now. And there is no changing that. you don't need to feel anger towards anyone because of it. and you don't need to spoil your relations with chachi because of it.
Jai: my relations with mom was spoiled way before than that riya. I would have been damned to hell if it was'nt for you and them.
Riya knew there was no use changing his mind and she hugged him giving him the comfort he and she needed.
Voice: oh what about us?
Riya and jai broke the hug to hear a patter of feet as a 9 year old girl hugged jai and a 16 year old boy hugged riya.
Rosh: we are also in this hug.
Aar: obviously, how can you brother and sister hug each other when your other brother and sister are not here?
Ri: that problem can be solved right now.
And they all made a group hug. Dai jaan wiped her tears seen this scene.
Dj prays and said " please god, solve the problems and fulfill all of their dreams."
