Chapter 5
Jai twirled the pen and looked outside. He was shocked to see her at his place. But how can she be an assistant. Last time he had heard she was with the etf. ETF. He sat up straight. He opened up his laptop and glanced at riya's photo. She was smiling without a care in the photo. Jai 'no, this time I won't let anyone harm you.' he checked the internet and found his suspicions true.
Aisha glanced at shree and chotu worriedly. Shree was working on his laptop while chotu was talking on the phone with his informers. Both had a similar arjun stoned expression on their face. It remained since they heard the news. liza and sakshi was also worried looking at them. Sameer and arjun came. Seeing aisha exchange a worried glance with liza sameer signaled to all three of them to go out of the room. shree and chotu looked up to see their seniors looking at them. Although arjun had a stone expression and sameer's serious expression but both of them knew how much their seniors cared about them. Shree closed his laptop. Chotu came and sat with them. There was complete silence in the room yet no one found this silence uncomfortable. It seemed familiar. Just the four of them after she left. This silence felt the same.
Shree: how did you all know?
Flashback
Aisha waited for the servant to come while sameer and arjun acted as lookouts. The servant came and after exchanging a few words left. Aisha came to both of them and said " sir, that servant said that the threats came to naina only 2-3 months ago. But before that riya had started receiving threats.
Sam: then why did'nt naina tell about riya?
Ais: naina hates riya. It seems she had forbidden her family to meet riya but jai is was always rebellious. So he meets riya. It also seems that jai and naina never had a closer relationship. In fact before riya came jai was a complete playboy and used to spend his family's money. but riya made him clean up his act. The servants respect riya a lot. She used to stay with her grandfather baldev kashyap but after his death she was adopted.
Arj: who adopted her?

Both arjun and sameer stared at aisha shocked. Aisha looked confused but slowly understood what she had just said. Arjun signaled aisha to continue.
Ais: the servant told that riya does'nt know about the threats made to her because jai made sure that no one would tell her. he also told that riya was diagnosed with an incurable disease due to which she has become blind. She works as an rj at the radio station 93.4 and is also a part time martial- arts instructor to normal and disabled people. He said that she stays with her dai jaan and the dai jaan's grandchildren but now dai jaan has gone to her village for a family function while the children have gone for a 1-week camp.
Arjun and sameer slowly comphrehended what was said and said together " lets meet riya."
Ais: but the servant told that she does'nt know anything.
After exchanging an irritated glance with each other, sameer said " then it is time that she knows. Otherwise we won't know who is targeting the kashyap family."
They were going to leave when they saw the same servant coming towards them in a hurry.
Ser: I am sorry but I forgot to give the photo of riya madam. Please protect her as she is really a sweet person.
He gave the photo and everyone was shocked to see her face. It was their colleague and teammate riya.

Shree: is this the reason why she left us?
Arj: we don't know but we are going to find out.
Sam: we are going to meet her. you are coming?
Shree and chotu nodded. A bell rang. Sakshi opened the door and was shocked to see who it was.
Jai: hello psycho.
He looked around and saw that no one was there. She was quietly playing the piano checking whether it sounded okay. She then got up and went to a group of boxes and started shifting them. He took the plastic bag and crept stealthily behind her. the client had said it had to be done quick but quite and easily. But he also told to extract some information from her. he did'nt care why the client wanted that information. The pay was good and that what his rules stated. No question. He smirked thinking about her blindness which was his advantage. He made a quick check to see no one was around and attacked.
