Okay, so things did not blow out of proportion! Well, I guess then I can open up with my views😊. I agree with everything that has been written. The potential which the character had and lost,some disastrous actions initiated by her which are so bizarre that its best left uncomprehended!

I have tried to accept her since it was being difficult watching the show with someone sticking out like a sore thumb. So best way was to search for positives...which I failed at. That is why I pay keen attention to discussion where this character is being defended..thinking ..they are surely able to see something which I am not😉

I am happy that it has been established that it is the character and not the actor in question. Frankly speaking,very few actors have the ability to rise above the character written on paper(Behzaad for one) and I do not expect her to do so. Thus,to be fair to her..have to say that she has been let down by the writers.

But what troubles me the most is that we are expected to believe that the character who will supposedly provide support to a man like Arjun, herself lacks the spine!!! ..Someone who is supposed to vanquish the demons of his darkness is acting like one herself!..Barging into his office and accusing him of being rude,asking him to enjoy his work(ya,right!), pestering him for a smile as if he is a mechanically wound up sulking toy!

And I find this to be treating his tragedy with insensitivity.

The man is not suffering from an adolescence heartbreak, that someone with a gorgeous smile and vivacious personality can suddenly interest him enough to forget his loss.He is nursing a wound which is beyond sympathy, beyond imagination. This calls for mature handling,doesn't it.?

And while I have no opinions about the pending love story...I can think of so many other emotions which can help him at this moment...just simple understanding...a lending ear...a silent assurance...a sense of belonging...a warm friendship..There are so many things missing in his life..and all what deserved to be replaced was love??? The one emotion which seems to be still abundantly present within the depths of his heart! And the means employed by Sakshi to do so was so worthy of appreciation-manipulating that one emotion which wrecks him everyday,adding on to the feeling which he is already burdened with-Guilt!!

Right, the most appropriate thing to do👏

I just wish everyone luck for what we might be subjected to in the future!

i totally agree that you couldn't have said anything better about sakshi in your class time. her character is very weak and confusing. I prefer to watch the episodes where Riya was there. Even the Arjun episodes with just the four ETF men and no women in ETF , were wonderful. For example the episode with three painting drawn by a man for this three son. that episode was perfect.

Arjun is a crime show. If a love track should be shown to increase trp. there is no problem with me. But please show a love track as a love track, not a comedy track.

i started watching arjun only in May 2013. So I first saw Arjun with Sakshi, not with Riya. Trust me I didn't want these pairs to fall in love. I don't sakshi funny, or serious or talented. One time she is laughing in the crime spot (hit and run episode), the other time she is complaining that she doesn't know how to react in a funeral situation (friend killed his best friend to get the insurance). the funniest scence of all Arjun show is where Ayesha telling Sakshi that she is in love with Arjun. I mean love is something that we should feel about. All the other love-hate stories, we audience wanted the the couple to fall in love .eg IPPKND. It shouldn't be forced. I can't tolerate how my favourite show Arjun is getting spoilt.

I started watching the episodes of Arjun in a reverese order, since I only heard about Arjun show only in May 2013.

When I saw Arjun and Ayesha. i thought Arjun love track with a bold, and talented lady like Ayesha would be good. But I found Ayesha too old for Arjun.

Later I saw the episodes of Arjun and Riya. The first episode, I saw Riya and Arjun was the episdoe where EFT dress up as guest and attend a wedding. the first time I saw Riya with Arjun, I just saw the feelings she had for him. I really wanted them to pair up. So sad Riya died. I still read OS, FF, and SS of Ariya. I still find them a romantic pair.

One thing is for sure, to watch good 43 mins of Arjun, I don't mind tolerating 2 min of Arjun/sakshi scenes.

We have a lot of things in common!...I did not know about the existence of this show before May,and also watched the series in reverse! So, it is safe to say that our opinions about the character is not biased😉

It is interesting that u mentioned about the concept of love-hate stories. I do not claim to understand the genre completely...but yes one thing is evident in those stories at least for me. You always feel that the guy is being too harsh on the girl,you want him to feel guilty and repent, thereby kick starting the love story.

For some strange reason that is missing here. Either because the character of Arjun Rawte is so well written,so endearing that we always feel bad for him and not the other way around. Thus, her actions instead of looking cute,come across as irritating. Because we are on his side. ..we relate to his pain and cannot bear someone encroaching upon his personal space.

Also in those stories..usually the hero has a sad backstory ..but nothing which cannot be at least forgiven if not forgotten. But here the hero has been wronged beyond any compensation. He has been irreversibly changed. The magnitude of his tragedy is such that he never seems to be a self indulgent,brooding man. He seems fully justified in being the way he is. And he has never interfered in anyone's life..never screeched from roof tops for everyone to see his pain and oblige him. Then why is suddenly someone walking into his life and claiming not only to understand him but also swearing to change him..!

So that love hate thing seems to be faltering.

And about Ayesha- I don't know about a romantic angle..or them as a pair. But I find her to be the most sensitive,mature friend or colleague he can have at present. There is a subtle warmth in their interactions,and brilliance like these keep us hooked to the show😊

Seriously I Agree wid u all guys! THis character has so so mch potential but dunno what d cv's r thinking??? Yesterday ws watching Arjun wid my mom who luvs dis show n Arjun! As Soon As my mum saw Sakshi on d screen she commented "what exactly is her work?? Saara kaam toh Arjun Liza n Aayesha se kehta h!" i didnt say anything but agree to her! She is expected to b a crime reporter then why she doesnt write any articles???? I agree tht Riya wasnt vry bright either but she had dat charm which filled d show with warmth!! 2 days ago i was talking to my frnds abt Arjun in College n dey also said d sme thing n one of my frnd said...Sorry to post this!! " But She irritates!! She is over d top bubbly n chirpy!" I mean Riya ws too but not out of d boxx!!! I mean im a gurl too n i also hve theese qualities!! If i was in d show(my only dream! hayeee!) opp Arjun..yes!! I wud Try to mke him smile but not irritate him!! P.S-Im not bashing any actor just my views!! 😊

But I also respect his stance of no one telling him what he 'should or should not do' in his show,hence I am okay with no reply!

lol yep he doesnt like people to tell him what to do, and FB i doubt he ever checks that, why dont you try sending it on his google+ link, he does check there and Twitter mainly i think😊

Coming back to the issue. I am able so sense a very unintentionally funny scenario being shown here.
You see a wrecked ship and feel compelled to repair it-that is perfectly normal and humane. But you should not forget that it needs to be repaired on land first,and not on the sea.
You do not take it to the middle of the ocean and then say-" Why are you behaving in this manner,look at the wonderful sky and breeze and try to enjoy,why can't u see the concern everyone has for you..! Come on start sailing because...hmm...well,.I can't bear to see you sinking!! "

Most likely both you and the ship will sink as a result of this ingenious plan!

As of now, that is what I am observing in the show.She is increasing the turbulence in his life in her attempt to save him. Arjun is on the brink of his destruction and Sakshi is inviting hers.
