Part 2

She went in the hall al the while chanting to herself "Riu, Sammi chod kar gayi thi jab kya kiya tha... Himmat rakh Riaa... Par Arjun.. Woh toh meri jaan hain.. He cant leave me. .Yeh nahi ho sakta hain... Nahhhiii " she screamed... She sat down in a corner of the house and just kept murmuring only one name Arjun Arjun... But no Arjun came to soothe her, to hold her in his arms and protect her from the world.. To kiss her senseless... She waited for almost an hour, the tears drying on her cheeks...

Reality struck her hard when she saw the divorce papers in her hand.. She opened them almost about to tear them when the previous events flashed in her mind.. She didnt want to sign them.. But she didnt have any other option... She battled in her mind whether to sign them or not.. Then with a heavy heart she picked up the pin and signed them as Riya Arjun Rawte... She lost her identity before when her father left her and now when her husband left her... She didnt know who she was. .Riya what... Then she answered to herself "Riya nothing... Riya kuch nahi hain na bhagwaan..."

She stood up went near the idol... "Maine aisi kya galthi ki thi??? Mera paida hona ek galthi thi, mera jeeni bhi meri hi ghalti thi??? Pehle Mummy Papa chod kar chale gaye, Phir Sami - jo meri best friend thi woh bhi mujhse tang aakar chali gayi.. Maine kuch nahi kaha.. Aapse ek baar poocha nahi kyun?? Ab Arjun bhi?? Mujhme hi kuch kami reh gayi shayad.. Isliye sab mujhe chod kare chale jaate hain.. .Haina... NAHI?? Toh phir kyun Arjun ne aisa kiya... Mujhse jhagda kiya, mujhe rulaya, phir aakhir mein mujhe divorce de diya... Mera zindagi se divorce kyun nahi karate aap.. Mujhe Arjun ke bina nahi reh na... NAHIII..". She screamed again tears filling her eyes again... Yet there was nobody to wipe them... She got up and picked up her bag...

As she turned around to leave she felt the need to look at him once... She wanted to know how heartless can he be... How can her pleas not effect him one bit?? The one person who used to flinch when a single tear threatened to fall from her eyes.. Be it happiness or pain... The one person who held the key to her happiness, who had loved her, who had protected her and the one person who was lying for god knows what reason.. She could see it in his eyes.. Yet her brain reminded her of the seriousness and told her she was living in a delusion. .He had left her...

She wanted to look for him but he seemed no where in sight. She checked all the rooms... She saw in the garage, his car was parked there.. Where did he disappear? She was frantic with worry.. She checked every corner.. He wasnt even in the balcony.. She went to the terrace - he wasnt even there... The next thing she did was call Sameer Rathod.. Rathod didnt recieve her phone and his landline was as well busy.. When she called Ayesha, Ayesha told her that she was busy and to call later... She heard screaming and shouting around... She realised that Arjun was there.. It didnt take her a minute to find out the location was Sameer's house or the ETF office..

It was Sameer Rathod's cabin in the ETF office where Arjun knuckles were bleeding rather his hand was bleeding and Sameer was trying to find out the reason for their divorce... Arjun was continuously banging his hand on the glass doors and kept hurting himself... All the others wondered what happened to Arjun and why isnt Sameer not stopping Arjun... What rest didnt know was if Sameer tried to stop him, Arjun would hurt himself more badly... Sameer looked around and asked everyone to leave... All of them quietly left Sameer's cabin wondering what happened.. They heard about divorce and it shocked them to the core that Arjun who loved Riya unconditionally would think of something like divorce... They knew there was trouble in paradise but which couple didnt have problems??? Little did they know, that the trouble was created on purpose...

Sameer went near Arjun and pulled him harshly... Before Arjun could do anything, Sameer slapped him right across the face...

"Problems se bhaag kar koi hal nahi milne wala tujhe Arjun...":

Arjun looked at Sameer, his eyes red... Sameer lifted his hand and removed the huge piece of glass from his knuckles... Arjun felt so tired his body was just about to fall down when Sameer supported him and made him sit on the couch... He sat down before him and rubbed his shoulder when Arjun hugged Sameer... It had never been so tough for him...

'Sam, i love her Sam..."

"I know Arjun, you dont need to tell me that... But why??"

"Sam if i dont let her go from my life, ill have to let her go from this world and i cant let that happen.."

"Arjun, aisa kuch nahi hoga... Nobody will take her away from you..."

"Somebody did that to me once, I cant let both of them die coz of me..."

"Toh Mr. Arjun Suryakant Rawte aap ko kya laga aap mujhe chod denge toh mein zinda rahungi??" spoke a voice from behind...

With Ayesha and Shree right behind her... Ayehsa tried to place a comforting hand on her shoulder when she jerked it away...

"Riya tum yaha..."

She glared at Arjun and then went towards Sameer's table and picked up a paper.. Arjun and Sameer both got up and looked at her... She took a piece of paper and scribbled something on it then gave it Sameer...

"SIR, mera resignation letter..."

Sameer tried to say something but she glared at him and that shut his mouth... Arjun stood numb unable to react.. Riya misunderstood it and went forward... She looked at him with expectant eyes but when she met his numb eyes she came beside him...

Sameer tried to hold her but she jerked away his arm..

"IM FINE"

She screamed at him then before Arjun could react she was in his arms... As the team smiled seeing this, then next thing shocked them.. She removed Arjun's gun from behind, inhaled deeply as if taking in his breath and pointed it to her forehead...

"Riya, yeh kya kar rahi ho tum???"

"Jo mujhe bahut pehle karlena chahiye tha.."

"RIYA, STOP..."

"Kyun ruko mein Arjun???? Mujhe toh jeena ka haq hi nahi hain... Pehle Mummy Daddy, Phir Sam aur ab tum??? Mujhse aur bardaasht nahi hota... YOU THINK I AM VERY STRONG... Jab chahe aaoge aur jab chahe chale jauge... Hote kaun ho tum yeh sab karne waale????"

"Riya, aisa nahi hain..."

He tried to pacify a frantic Riya...

"Agar mere saath nahi reh sakte toh mujhe sambhalne ka haq bhi kho chuke ho tum Arjun..."

"Riya, look its not the way you think... "

"THEN WHAT IS IT???? DO U HAVE AN EXPLANATION FOR UA BEHAVIOUR IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS????? NO RIGHT??? ALL YOU CARE IS ABOUT YOURSELF... KAASH KI USS DIN MEIN TUMHARI SUHAGAN BANE HI IS DUNYA SE CHALE JAATE... MUJHE YEH SAB TOH NAHI DEKHNA PADTA..."

"RIYA, DONT DARE SAY SUCH THINGS..."

"AB KYUN TAKLEEF HO RAHI HAIN TUMHE ARJUN RAWTE???? JAB DIVORCE PAPERS DIYE THE TAB NAHI HUYI THI NA??? AB KYUN YEH GUSSA TUMHARI AANKHON MEIN HAIN???" KYUN YEH JHOOTA DIKHAWA????? "

That was the end.. .Arjun lost control... His blood was boling...

"Mera pyaar jhoota nahi tha... "

He snapped at Riya...

"THEN WHY"

She screamed back agitated...

"COZ I DONT WANT TO PUT YOUR AND OUR BABY's LIFE IN DANGER..."

It took a minute for Riya to register his words.. .She instinctively put her hand on her belly and the gun dropped on the floor...

She stared wide eyed at him... She couldnt believe that the best news of her life would be delivered to her like this... She didnt know how to react.. To scream im happiness or cry her eyes out at the irony of the situation... Her husband handed her the divorce papers and she comes to know she is pregnant with his child... Coz he was scared of Sikander.. It was hard to digest.. .

Arjun Rawte fearing loss of his wife had distanced himself from her.. .She knew how much it would have killed him.. But here she was his wife... Equally stubborn if not more... She knew that she had to do something...

An idea clicked in her mind.. A last hope to get back her happiness...

Taking a deep breath she said aloud

"Arjun, leave me.."

He hadnt expected this from her... He thought she would say something or try to get some sense in his head but here she was calm...

Arjun stared at her eyes as they turned cold... Emotionless... He stared at her and asked her

"Kyun Riya.."

"Since we are divorced Mr. Rawte, I dont think i need to inform you of my wherabouts..."

"Dammit Riya, tell me.. I know u are planning something..."

"Sunne ki taaqat nahi hogi tumhe Arjun Rawte..."

"KYA??"

"I am going to get this baby aborted... Mujhe tumse jodne waali koi cheez nahi chahiye... I want to forget everything and move on.. I want to start afresh..."

He stared at her shocked... Riya - the loving, caring and compassionate women he had ever met in his life was planning to end a life.. The life of her own baby?? Who wasnt even born... Riya Arjun Rawte??? Naah, this was impossible...

"Why??"

His hold loosened on her arms and he whispered..

"When this baby will grow up and ask me who his father was - I wont be able to tell my baby that the GREAT ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte - THE fearless cop, jiske ek awaaz pe poora dept kaanp upthta tha left his wife just coz he was afraid of a criminal... Jisko saza dene ke badle uske darr se mujhe chod diya... "

Arjun stared at her while she continued to talk trying hard that he regrets his decision and comes back into her life...

"Just coz he threatned that he would snatch away his happiness, your father left me and you to start afresh away so that he doesnt trace us down and kill us...

Bhagwan Isse acha toh yeh hota ki hum us mujrim ke haatho mar hi jaate atleast hum Arjun Rawte ki amaanat ban kar... "

Before she could complete her sentence, a hand was on her mouth stoppin any more words from her mouth... Arjun's resolve to stay apart shook.. He couldnt bear it.. His eyes were filled with tears... He bent down... His head down...

"Riya, please stop it... Main aur nahi seh sakta... Please..."

Riya eyes were glistening with tears but she had a smile on her face.. She knew she had accomplished... She just stood not bothering to wipe her tears while Arjun had his face in her belly murmuring "Im Sorryy..."

Riya held his hands and bent down infront of him... She wiped his tears and kissed him on his forehead... She crashed into his arms where both were trying to find solace in each others arms... The whole dept witnessed the reunion of the couple with tears in their eyes...

Riya and Arjun stood up when Riya took Arjun's hand in her hand..

"Arjun, We will fight him together... We are with u..."

She said placing the other hand on her belly..

The whole team entered and placed there hands...

"Hum sab tere saath hain Arjun... This time you are not alone..."

Sameer spoke and Arjun engulfed him in a hug while Ayesha hugged Riya..

Riya succeded in getting back her love... And he was back... She as well got a gift.. Her baby.. Arjun and Riya's baby...
