A nice smoothly written chapter. The halting progress on Arjun's recovery path is entirely credible.

Incidentally, I too have always wondered about where his sunglasses go when he tosses them inside his shirt. If there is no special pocket for them there, they will naturally fall down to the waistband, and would then have to be fished out.. As this never happens presumably there IS a pocket!

I presume that if Sikander is involved in this hostage taking, a piquant situation will be created, since he will remember Arjun but Arjun will not remember him. Maybe the taunts that Sikander is likely to throw at Arjun might jog his memory, but to what extent? That is the key question.
