"kya tum mujhe kal office leja sakthe ho?" Arjun asked again to he shocked Riya. "of course, kyu nahi..." she was so happy, they went to their own rooms.

She was so happy. She took her diary. She continued to write down his progress

ARJUN... Coming Back...

1. Aaj wo thode relaxed hai.. spoke for a while.. don't remember anyone... not even Roshni...

2. Saw the tattoo... was a bit upset...

3. Came back home.

4. Noticed a missing photo frame (ACP Rawte almost coming back)

5. Wahi gussa... wahi attitude...

6. SAMJHE YA SAMJHAU...

7. He hugged me...!!! Wahi apna pan... shayad bohot jald wahi pyaar bhi...

8. Wanted to know more about ETF and himself.

9. Tomorrow big day...going to office...

She had tears of happiness in her eyes. She went to sleep after a small prayer.

Next day:

"Arjun... break fast ready..." She called out. She was already ready for office. She was too anxious how its going to be. She couldn't sleep well previous night. She was waiting for him at the table. "kaha hai wo..?" she turned and let out a gasp. He was ready in a maroon shirt. "as hot as always..." she made a mental note. She was just staring him. "kya hua? Aise kya dekh rahe ho?"

She snapped back. "kuch nahi... nashta kare?" he nodded and they had their breakfast. They were ready to go.

"Arjun... sub kuch liya aapne?"

"ha... wallet hai, mobile hai.. aur kuch...?" she smiled. "ek minute, mien abhi aayi.." she went into his room. He had forgotten his bandage, glasses and gun. She took the bandage and gun. She went towards the glasses. She smiled at the glasses and touched it gently.

Flashback:

They were back from a case. She was sitting with him in the SUV. He dropped her home. "ek cup chai piyoge?"

He smiled and went with her to her home. He entered the hall , took his glasses and shoved it into his shirt. He turned and saw Riya looking at him with a cute, cunning dimple smile.

"What?? Aise kya dekh rahe ho?"

"kuch nahi Arjun' bas ye soch raha tha ke wo glass akhir ja kaha raha hai?" she winked at him. He moved closer to her. She started moving back until hit by the wall. He trapped her and went closer to her ears. She could feel his breath on her neck. She blushed and closed her eyes. "wo glasses ek secret jagah pe jathe hai... kuch samjhe ya samjhau...?" he kissed her neck, she held on to him tightly. Her heart was beating overtime...

Flashback ends.

She came back and smiled. She took it to him. "ye lijiye' ye bandage aap hamesha pehenthe ho'" he took it and wore it.

"aur aapke glasses. " he placed it inside the pocket. "minus 1" she thought'

"aur aapke gun'" he just looked at it for a while. then slowly took it and examined it. She was watching him closely. He slowly kept the gun in his usual place. She was happy "plus 1'"

They drove to the office he was silent all through the ride, observing the road'

ETF office:
they reached infront of the office. He was looking around. She took him in. he was noticing each and every step. She knocked at the door. "come in'" they heard Rathod's voice. "good morning sir' ek surprise hai'"she moved aside and let Arjun in. it was a great surprise. "good morning Rawte'" he just nodded in reply. Rathod smirked. "now what? Ab kyu smile kar rahe ho?"

"kuch nahi Rawte' tumhare aadatein bilkul nahi badle' today also no 'good mornong' from you, as usual"
Arjun rolled his eyes and started to examine the hall. He moved about touching the items. He reached his usual position and took his chair, keeping the gun on the table as before. "ab sab khade kyu ho? Ithne bhi respect math do'" all were relieved in his usual tone.

"yes team' jab thak koi case mile, complete the paper works." Arjun took a case file near to him from Shree and started reading it in full concentration. All were watching him from the corner of their eyes. Riya was too happy. She took her diary to update.

10.Forgot about bandage, glass and gun. Glass in pocket, gun in usual place.

11.Maroon shirt- his dressing sense never changed.

12.Reached office. No 'good morning' as usual

13.Rathod Sir ke saath wahi purane nok jhok.

14.Sat in his usual position, with gun on the table, as usual

15.Going through the case file.

She looked at him. And he saw that. "uss diary mien kya hai?" she had flashes of their previous days. "kuch nahi sir, just case details." He was not convinced but kept quite. "Sir, mien sab keliye coffee lathe hai.."

She went in and was making 4 coffee as Arjun liked only tea. She had a sudden thinking. She came in with 5 cups of coffee. Shree raised his eyebrows and she winked at him. She placed coffee in front of everyone. All were watching Arjun.

Arjun, while reading took a sip of his coffee. "um'." He wrinkled his face. She was happy. "kya hua Sir? Coffee achi nahi bani?" she asked innocently.

"nahi' coffee is fine' but I think mujhe coffee pasand nahi hai' " they were evidently happy. That time his usual chai wala came. She took the tea to him. "please try this one'" he took a sip. "hm' that's better'" he continued his tea, concentrating back on the file. Shree and Chotu gave a small thumps up to her, while Rathod smiled. They were back on work. She updated her diary.

16.Cutting Chai returns'

10 45 am:

Rathode phone rang. After a while. "ek ghar mien ek family ko kuchlog bandi banake rakha hai' unke kya demands hai ye tho patha nahi' lekin thode pehle waha se goli chalne ke awaaz suni hai.. uss family mien 4 log hai, ek couple aur unke do bache. Waha kithne aur log hai iske bare mien hi zyada information nahi hai. We will have to move in fast. Hurry up team." All got up but Arjun was in his seat itself.

"kya hua Rawte? Tum nahi aoge?"

"Rathod, ye mazaak karne ke time nahi hai.. maana ke tum,log mujhe normal feel karwane ke koshish mien ho, magar I know' shayad mere aane se tum logonke kaam me koi problem hoga' aur waha kisike jaan ke sawal hai. I don't want to take risk."

"ye tum bol rahe ho Rawte? Jo koi bhi risk lene ko ready the?"

"patha nahi' lekin tum jis Rawte ke bare mien keh rahe ho, I don't know him. Aur shayad'"

"aur kuch nahi Rawte' ETF is mission ko liya hai aur iske matlab tum bhi arehe ho." He was firm.

Arjun was confused. "ok' lekin fir ye math kehna ke meine warn nahi kiya tha.." he got up and went to the SUV. Rathod was lost in thoughts. He wanted that old Arjun back. And for that he could go to any extreme. But he was not sure how Arjun was going to react now.

They reached the location. A few policemen in casuals were around. They informed the matter. ETF was ready to go in. all had their guns out in their hand except Arjun. "Rawte where is your gun?" Arjun just glared and moved ahead stealthly. "Dammit' iske ye attitude kabhi nahi sudhrega.. Riya go with him. I'll look this side.Shree, Chotu come with me." they moved ahead.

Arjun was moving silently and Riya was behind him. At a point someone passed their way, and only then he noticed she was with him. He pulled her to him and and pressed on to the wall, hiding from that man. She could feel his warmth over her. "kya kar rahi ho tum Riya? Why are you following me? stupid"

"Sir.. mien aapke help.."

"mujhe mere ifaazath karna atha hai Riya. I don't need your help." She could hear more than once. The days when they tackled tha naxals flashed infront of her eyes.

"ab kaha kho gayi tum? Aage chale?" he brought her back. She nodded and followed him.
