Hey dear,
I just happened to see a thread that is meant for writers and posted my view there.
I agree Riya dying was a heartwrenching moment, but you have talent to keep Riya alive through you works and who knows it better than me. I do write on DMG, which ended years ago still we do keep them alive through our stories.
Don't loose hope, take a break if your won't but don't stop writing and keep Riya Mukherjee alive through your work.

i couldn't even watch the rest of the show...i was so shocked.

i am literally crying! how could they do this! they could have shown anything and we would have been satisified, we would have tolerrated less of Sana/Riya!

same here! i was just so stunned that i couldn't even cry...couldn't even concentrate on the rest of the epi, so just switched it off. it's just not gonna be the same anymore. i loved riya's character played by sana. she was smart and strong, but at the same time sweet, funny and a bit vulnerable too...a perfect contrast to arjun. i loved watching them together, and enjoyed seeing her slowly breaking through his icy exterior. also loved her friendship and chemistry with chotu and shree and how the three of them would make fun of R&R. they were such a fab team, perfectly balanced, great chemistry...but now it's all ruined :'(

can't understand why they had to be soo extreme (even if it was realistic) and kill her off like that. like you said, we could have lived with seeing less of her... I mean they could have shown riya going into a coma, or having a family crisis or something and given her some time off to recover. but this is too cruel and unfair!! can't accept a replacement for sana either, esp not with shaleen. she was great and their chemistry was building up so nicely...such a shame to ruin it like that..! :(
