chapter-3

The next morning arjun woke up with a feeling that whatever happened the day before was just his dream. He walked to shree and noticed that he was still wearing his new dress which he was supposed to wear on the day when riya was about to come for dinner.

Arjun- shree, abhi riya aayi nahi hai na?

Shree- riya? abb vo phir se kyu aayegi?

Arjun- phir se?

Shree- vo kal aake chali gayi…aap kaun si duniya me ho?

Arjun realized that all that was not his dream. He had really felt those attractive feelings for riya and he had really….really kissed her.

Arjun- shree…tumne abhi tak kal ke kapde kyu pehen rakhe hain?

Shree- vo kal samara nahi aa payi thi na dinner pe, usne hi mujhe ye dress gift me dee thi toh vo dekhna chahti thi mujhe ye pehne huye so I thought ki mai ise pehen ke hi so jaaon…! Abhi aati hi hogi vo!

Arjun- theek hai, mai walk pe jaa raha hoon park.

Shree- hmmm park!!!! Aaj kal park bada beautiful ho gaya hai? nahi?

Arjun- shut up shree!

Arjun left for the park. Samara reached his mansion and went inside and directly went and hugged shree

Shree- chhhodd mujhe…..mmm…..!!!!

Samara broke the hug

Samara- kya problem hai yaar tujhe aur tere bhai ko….? Mai toh roz apne bhai ko 50 baar hug karti hoon and tum log…uff….

Shree- tu vo sab rehne de! Ye bata mai kaisa dikh raha hoon?

Shree stood in style.

Samara- hmmm…..acche lag rahe ho! But my dear ever so sweet and hot arjun sir se jyaada nahi!

Shree- haan.haan theek hai….ja aur jaake chipak jaa unse.!

Samara- why not! I would love to do that.!

Shree- accha abb jaldi chal, aaj hum logo ko ETF jaldi jaana hai, mai kapde change karke aata hoon, then bhai ko park se pick up karr lenge.

Samara- ok cool.

In the park, arjun was sitting near the lake at the same place where he had met riya for the first time. He was only thinking about her. he felt someone's gaze on him and he stood up. He turned back and it was her. but as soon as she saw him turning back, she got misbalanced and fell on the grassy ground.

Riya felt embarrassed. Out of all the people in this world, it had to be him, infront of whom she had to fall. She sat up and dusted herself.

Arjun went and gave her a hand, but in his trial to pull her up, he fell down himself. His whole body was on her and she was hyperventilating looking at him just above her. he tried to balance himself but riya's eyes caught him and he stopped in that position. Her eyes looked so innocent and so caring. Her eyes had a fear as well as love. How could she be what she is thought to be? Arjun turned over and sat up. Now even riya sat up.

Arjun- riya…

Riya- ewww!!!!!!

Arjun was going to begin a serious topic and he heard this from riya and he was shocked.

Arjun- kya hua?

Riya- meri dress me grass and mud lag gaye hain!

Arjun- ufff! Ladkiyan!

Riya- cheee….

Arjun- look riya, yaha ki grass itni soft and clean hai, tum isme ye chee and all kyu karr rahi ho!

Riya- chee mr rawte, grass and mud can't be clean!!!!

Arjun held her hand tightly and made her lay on the grass. He lay her head gently and she watched him do that. Arjun lay himself also on the grass.

Arjun- dekha….kitna sukoon milta hai!...in soft grasses pe letne se!

They were few millimeters apart. There was a moment of silence.

Arjun- riya…kal jo bhi hua….uske liye….

Riya- its ok mr rawte….mai uss baare me baat nahi karna chahti.

Arjun- tum mujhse naaraz ho na? pehle maine tumhe itna bura kaha and then kal raat maine….i am really sorry for that….pata nahi kaise….

Riya- please…..bass aap abb ye matt sochiyega ki maine jaan-boojh karr ye sab kiya…..ok?

Arjun- tumne kuch nahi kiya riya, galti meri thi…!

Riya- please mr rawte…..i need to go.

Riya sat up first, dusted herself and got up to leave. But her hand was suddenly pulled by arjun. He turned her and pulled her to him and held her by her waist. He went very close to her face. Riya could feel his breath on her.

Arjun- meri baat khatam nahi hui hai miss mukharjee!

Arjun had that old rude tone in his voice this time.

Riya- leave me!! Leave me mr rawte!

Riya was struggling to get out of his hold but she was unable to do so.

Arjun- kal job hi hua usse ye matt sochna ki tumne mujhe phasa liya hai! samjhi ya samjhaaon?

Riya- (in anger)- haan. Haan mai samajh gayi! Abb aap mujhe jaane denge?

Shree and samara reach the park to pick up arjun. They see ariya in that position.

Samara- ahem! Ahem! Ahem!

Arjun and riya went apart.

Shree- bhai aap ready ho chalne ke liye ya aur time chahiye park me walk karne ke liye?

Arjun- shut up shree….chalo abb yaha se.!

Samara- sir aap log jao I am coming…

Samara went to riya and kept her hand on her shoulders.

Samara- hi miss riya…I am samara.

Riya- hi…

Samara- arjun sir ne kuch galat keh diya ho toh bura matt maniyega! He is like that only.

Riya- so you all should try to change him.

Samara- unhe change karne vaala/vaali aaj tak shaayad iss duniya me aaya/aayi hi nahi hai!

Riya- mujhe nahi lagta…mai inhe theek karke rahoongi! Ghamandi insaan.

Just when samara was about to say bye and leave, she saw that shree had started playing blind fold with the children in the park. Arjun was standing in one corner.

Samara- aww shree😳!

Riya- you like him?

Samara- oh ho! I love him dear riya….he is my bestest friend.! But arjun sir is my first love…I love him since I was 12.

They laughed. Riya knew that samara's definition of 'love' was different for shree and arjun. Even for shree, according to samara 'love' was friends love, but riya had seen something in samara's eyes which was not just friendship love.

Samara- chaliye…hum bhi khelte hain.

She dragged riya to play. It was riya's turn. She was blind folded and she searched for everyone running around here and there. But she got banged into someone who was standing there like a pillar with his hands folded and she felt a strong vibration throughout her body when he grabbed his shirt.

Riya- caught you!

She opened the blind fold to see that it was arjun. Arjun looked away.

Arjun- mai nahi khel raha.

Samara- common arjun sir….u have to play.

Arjun- no

Samara- sir…aapne last year mere birthday parr gift nahi diya tha na! I want that gift now! Khelo.!

Arjun knew he had to give up to samara because it was the world's toughest thing to win an argument with her. he agreed. He was blind folded and he was normally walking here and there. Then he started running and a sweet smile came on his face.

He finally succeeded in grabbing someone. It was riya. he enclosed her tightly. He didn't realize that it was not a kid. He grabbed her stomach when she tried to escape. Then she finally caught her completely like a hug and opened his blind fold. He was smiling but as soon as he saw her his smile faded but just a little. he felt very cool and calm as if he was there in her embrace. He felt good, looking at her face. He didn't leave her but tightened his grip. Riya felt uncomfortable infront of all.

She was trying to push arjun away but the way he was looking at her made her melt and feel weak. Finally shree came in.

Shree- oho!!!! Chalo abb!!!!! Hum log late ho gaye!

Arjun left riya but they were still looking at each other. Arjun went with shree and samara and sat in the car but ariya kept looking at each other with a very faint smile till the car went off the road.

PRECAP:- riya is alone at home when arjun comes in for help.
