here is the next part of chapter 2...enjoy...
Riya opened her eyes and saw arjun in front of her. he was standing in the same way as he stood the day before. she was shocked. she could feel his strong body in front of her. she was completely amazed.
riya- mr rawte?? aap?
she suddenly realized that she was actually talking to the walls. her strong and handsome man had vanished in the air. he was there in her thoughts only. she got up and hurried to get ready and go for her walk in the morning. she reached the park and was scared of encountering him again.Although he was so rude to her, but somehow,somewhere he had created a place in her heart. she was not able to control her feeling which were developing for him. she suddenly saw a girl riding on a bicycle which was not meant to be hers, it was for children above 15 and the girl appeared to be nearly 10. the girl fell down as it was expected and that too in a small pit. she was unable to get up. riya went and helped her to get out of that pit.
riya- hi..i am riya! (with her sweet dimples)
girl-(dusting herself)- hi..i am parineeta mathew...can we be friends?
riya- sure.
girl- then you can call me pari.
riya- wow! that's such a cute name.!
Arjun came there with a caring look on his face. he directly went to pari although he had noticed that riya was there.
arjun- are you ok baccha?
pari- haan mama...i am fine...thanks to this sweet girl riya!
arjun gave a stare to riya then looked back with his loving eyes at pari.
arjun- go beta...go and play on the swings..jaao..mai aata hoo.
pari-ok...bye riya..
riya-ah!! bye pari...
pari leaves. riya was shocked to see such a soft side of arjun and she was shocked that whomsoever she meet lands up being arjun's relative.
arjun- what do you want? tum kya karna chahti ho? haan?
riya- mai? maine kya kiya mr rawte?
arjun- abb tum meri niece ke peeche lag gayi ho? use apne kaaboo me karke mere ghar me entry chahiye kya?
riya- aap aisa kyu sochte hain? mai vaise nahi hoon jaisa aap..
arjun- mai jo sochta hoon sahi sochta hoon.
riya- theek hai. toh agli baar jab pari gir jaaye toh mai use vahi chod doongi...OK?
arjun- abb tum mujhe sikhaaogi parenting?
riya- agar aap ek acche guardian hote toh use bade baccho ki cycle nahi chalaane dete.!
arjun- mai---mai vahi karta hoon jo vo chahe...
riya- vo khaai me koodna chahe toh bhi?
arjun- just shut up!
arjun leaves in anger...riya was left shocked. she was feeling very bad for how arjun talked to her. she thought to teach him a lesson. she thought she would insult him when she goes for dinner.
(at 7:45 pm shree reaches riya's house to pick her up. riya was dressed gorgeously in her red gown.)
(she sat in the car and the journey started)
shree-you look beautiful.
riya(smiles)- thanku shree...
riya was lost in the thoughts of arjun. she was thinking of insulting him but she was feeling bad aslo. she was irritated at her turmoil. she was attracted towards the man but she was so angry at him that she could not accept it. she then thought about shree and told him to stop the car.
shree- what happened?
riya- shree...mujhe pata nahi mai kaise kahoo...but...
shree- but?
riya- maine uss din tumhe apna number diya...uska tum koi galat matlab matt nikaalna...plzz...
shree- oh...i see...maine socha ye humaari date hai.
riya- i am sorry shree...but...we can be good friends.
shree (smile)- yes!
riya- and shree...i want you to know that even i used to work at ETF...and...i was..
shree- oh i know that already...
riya- sahi me?
shree- haan...mai sab jaanta hoon, but i don't care. you are beautiful and good at heart, thats all.
riya- aww..thnku shree...
shree- lekin shaayad tum bhai se mili thi? hai na?
riya- haan...
shree- bhai ne mujhse door rehne ko kaha hoga?
riya noded.
shree- bhai bhi na! vo kal se shayad tumhaare khayaalo me hi khoye huye hain but accept nahi karenge ki tum unhe acchi lag gayi ho!
riya was shocked.
shree- vo bohot acche hain riya...bass roshni bhabhi ke jaane ke baad thode...u know...but he likes u...i know.
they drove to arjun's mansion.riya was amazed to see the big house, the chandeliers, the lights, the furniture and everything. then she saw him and she again felt butterflies. shree introduced her to arjun and arjun went close to her. she was hyperventilating!!! she could not understand what he was doing...!
he came close to her, took her hand in his and kissed her hand.
arjun- welcome...!
then he went to the dinning room.
shree- daro matt riya..humaare yaha naye mehmaan ko aise hi greet karte hain.
shree took riya to the dinning room which was as large as riya's house. there was a large table and many chairs. she saw him sitting on one of them and sat on the one next to him. she was ready to insult him somehow but she coudn't understand what to do.
The drinks were placed. but when the maid was passing by, the tray fell and a little bit of the drink fell on riya's gown while the glass broke.
maid- oh i am so sorry for the mistake madam!
riya looked few blood stains in her gown and immediately looked at the maids hands which were bleeding due to the broken glass.
riya- oh there's nothing to be sorry...apne haatho ko dekhiye...its bleeding.
riya took her hancky and dressed the maid's wounds. arjun was looking at this. he called some other servants to clean the mess and went to the maid.
arjun- aap theek hain?
maid- jee...
arjun- aap jaake baitho...kisi aur ko bhej do.ok?
maid-jee
the way he spoke to her made riya's heart melt...arjun was so kind to others but why was he so harsh with her?
arjun was also shocked. he thought riya was rude arrogant traitor who thought only about money and herself but from her actions it never appeared that she was like that.
after the dinner riya was waiting near the car for shree to get the keys. she went near the lake which was there. she was standing and thinking only about one thing and that was him again. how handsome he looked, how gently he had kissed her hand, how polite he was to the maid, all these things were going on in her mind. suddenly she felt someone's hand on her shoulders. she turned and it was him.
arjun- riya...mai...
although riya had seen arjun so many times but now she was seeing this arjun for the first time. he was soft and gentle. he was calm.
arjun- riya maine tumse jiss tarah behave kiya uske liye sorry. i think mujhe itna judgmental nahi hona tha.
riya was shocked. she turned back to the lake to deviate herself from his hypnotising eyes. arjun went next to her and kept his hand on the railing exactly on top of riya's hand. a current went through her spine and she tilted a bit to see arjun.
arjun removed his hand immediately.
arjun-sorry...vo galti se...!
riya- its ok.
arjun- shree ko kabhi time pe keys nahi milti ...
riya- hmmm
riya was feeling so nervous this time. before this whenever she had met him she had no hesitation in speaking back and answering back to him but then, at that time, there was something in the air which made her nervous.
arjun was lost in riya's beautiful face. he was staring her constantly. her big eyes, her open hairs falling on her face due to the cold breeze. suddenly riya slipped and arjun held her in his strong arms. they shared an eyelock. they were so lost in each other that they forgot about the world. arjun slowly pulled her up, still keeping riya in his arms. he moved his hands through her face and put her hairs at the back. he then held her by her waist and pulled her close to him. he placed his other arm on her neck and moved it through the hairs. riya felt melted. she was melting. she closed her eyes. arjun leaned to her,place his lips on hers and he kissed her.
"riyaaa...riyaaa..."
the kiss broke as riya and arjun heard shree calling out for riya. arjun was shocked abt what had happened he was feeling blank. riya ran away to shree, sat in the car and went away. arjun stood there in confusion.
that is it...😳 i have written it according to the novel so if anybody has read the novel "santiago's command" then they can find similarities. plzzz tell me how it was...was it too much??? or was it too less?? or was it apt??? plzz leave comments...!
