Karthikeyan comes down in the morning and is ready to go to work. He doesn't acknowledge or speak with Arasi but calls Uday and asks him to book return air tickets to Mumbai for the 4 of them, arasi, uday, kalai and uday's wife, as soon as Kalai is discharged in 2 days. He plans to stay here and finish off his duty.
Uday and wife beg Arasi to resolve this first ever tiff as this disrupts their family harmony but Arasi keeps mum and goes to the hospital.
Ranju is surprised to see Sathya coming down from the stairs and he says he came from behind the house thiruttu thanamaa and she enquires why. After delibration, he talks abt Adhi - the PI and that he has incriminating evidence abt Bala's murderer. Ranju digs and finally, he confesses that he killed Bala, thinking he was having an affair with Ranju. He says now that she knows the truth, it is up to her to decide his fate. he is not afraid to go to jail.
Ranju is shocked.
Arasi just sits with a vacant look in between two rooms in the entrance with Kaveri in her lap. Suddenly they show Mahi walking by; then it is Click Click. Then yogi comes and sits there and asks her to cheer up. She asks him abt her mom; he tells her that she is Senthamizharasi, IPS- a respected and renowned officer in Mumbai and has been recognized towards her correctional efforts. They show a picture of Arasi in police gear walking and talking in the streets. He further tells her the entire story. how she got cheated at 18, and her parents owned one of the biggest jewellery store in Candy, back in Sri Lanka; then things got too advanced; her mom said the baby died and gave the baby to Yogi, one of the trusted low-level employee in the store along with his own jewellery store.
And then she took Arasi and left that place. He also talks abt his sighting Arasi in Rameshwaram, bringing her to see Selvi; Arasi disowning Selvi and did not want to disturb her well-set life with her new family. Selvi is devasted when she hears that Arasi has seen her and still refused to accept her.
Romba Too much is also avidly listening in.
She asks yogi, appO naan anaadhaiyaa? and he says he is there for her forever and comforts her by stroking her hair but she pushes him away. Kaveri is witness to all this. (now she is going to relay this info to GJ who will try to use this new-found bonanza to his advantage)

With a series of developments taking place, TV serial artiste Devi Priya has gone into hiding, however she plans to marry her lover William Isaac on 19 February.

It may be noted that the television artiste Devi Priya hogged the headlines following a complaint against her lover William. Even as she spelt out her decision to marry him, his former wives ? Stella and Hemamalini ? approached the police to scuttle his wedding plans in some way or the other. While Stella pleaded to get back the dowry amount and jewels, Hemamalini sought the police to stop his marriage with the television artiste.

Acting on the complaints, the police arrested William's mother Glory, former Councillor, and were on the lookout for William who too went into hiding. Meanwhile, William had planned to tie the nuptial knot to Devi Priya on 19 February.

A police team grilled Devi Priya yesterday at her K K Nagar residence with regard to William.

In a turn of events, William's second wife Hemamalini preferred a complaint at Adyar police station stating that both William Isaac and Devi Priya had threatened her of dire consequences if she approached police.

So, the police team went to Devi Priya's house to take her into custody last night . But she wasn't there. Sensing trouble, Devi Priya never returned home and was reportedly gone into hiding. Police suspect that she might have absconded to marry her lover.

However, police have registered cases against William's mother Glory Jayaraj, his brother Ashok, sister Suvan, Devi Priya and her sister Priya alias Meenakumari.

Under these circumstances, an anticipatory bail petition has been submitted on behalf of William in the Madras High Court.

The petition was taken on file by Justice R Ragupathy today. William's first wife Stella had represented through her lawyer objecting to granting bail to William.

The court adjourned the bail plea for Monday.
