She is not going to die in real, but they will think that. After a leap, she will come back to take revenge as an IAS officer with help of Raja or someone else.

Meli,I had thought about Raja taking up the revenge but did not think about Anjali becoming IAS officer.

What you say looks very much on the cards but it is definite that they will kill Maya--it can't be anyone else and Raja will get motivated to take revenge for both his parents.

This is exactly what I had in mind. After all, how much can the little brains of the director/creative heads can handle? 😆. They can only go this far. From the trailer and the path the story is taking, my bet is on Anjali's purported murder (when she's actually alive waiting to get her revenge on her "murderers").

I expected something similar to happen in "Penn" itself - that one day, both Deepa's sister and Deepa's friend Jamuna will just appear, being rescued by others - to give them more scope in the serial and to get even with the baddie threesome. But unfortunately, CJB got a big fat cheque for "Anjali" and so they never came back alive 😉
