Anjali is studying outside and Ashok comes and says in what way is that autodriver better than me,etc. She wants him to let her study and he says whats so interesting and he grabs the book(its the book Raja bought her!). Inside the cover it says 'piriyamudan Raja'. He throws the book down(psycho music from last episode plays in background)and sets fire to it. He says 'kaadhalanin parisu theeyila eriyuthu'. [i have to say prajin looks very cute in this scene!!]
Babu is at the hospital, watching devak and husband. Hubby is getting treatment. Devaki notices Babu after a while,goes to him and asks him not to see her again. He says I cant live without seeing you, I want to help you. She said anjali is already helping us. He said you used to wear pottu and jewellery, I want to see the old Devaki again, and he gives her a chain and walks off.
Also from the convo, we learn that Babu is now in Chennai, he is drinking again, and that the 10 thousand that he gave back to Anjali was borrowed money.
Anjali is sitting at the table.Ashok comes in and throws four copies of the book that he burnt earlier, on the table. He said, shall i put my signature on it? Anjali says, you are turning less human, more animal. Then he goes I should be the only one to buy you books, pen, pencil, etc. Yamuna comes in, gives Anjali the same book and asks her why there are four other copies. Anjali says dont worry and asks her to write 'piriyamudan yamuna' in it. She does and goes away. Ashok rips the book and throws it on the ground.
He says from now on, you should only stay true to me, or else I will put you in the fire. She says you're not rama, for me to be thrown in fire in order to prove my self! He jumps up and tries to strangle her, and she says, you might as well kill me. He replies, I wont I'll just make sure you live without any happiness.
Chennai:Two men are watching Jeeva and Supriya go into their house. They say, this is becoming out of hand, and phone the police. Jeeva, Supriya and mum are in the house, joking and laughing together when police come and take them outside.
